Parts List from LDD?
Mrcool1804 replied to Mrcool1804's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Would anyone be willing to run my LDD Fire Truck through and get a parts list? Its only 3-400 pieces. Many duplicate pieces too. -
Thanks Ralph, I studied your Engine in great length and could not figure out your hinge system, and you are right about is being bulky. I too agree with everyone that it does look a little too long, I had the smaller tires on there to begin with, but opted for the larger ones despite them sticking out a bit. I also started this model being an 8 wide, The cost right now on LDD is $150 US

Thanks! You nailed it! The Engine is a 2006 Pierce Dash. The doors are simple connections as shown below
-
Great job! I really like the front end of the truck. I looked at your Digital Design and that too is very impressive!

I have been working on a workable, to scale, model of an actual Fire Engine. I would appreciate any feedback before I place my Design By Me purchase. Here is a photo of the Engine that I modeled it after: Here are the photos of the model: The ladder does rotate down 90deg. to allow for unloading. Any feedback at all is much appreciated!

We need to start a new thread for User's customization of the interior's of the apartments. I for one think they are lacking detail and should look more like this:

Parts List from LDD?
Mrcool1804 replied to Mrcool1804's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Downloaded that, it sounds like a neat program but I was hoping for something a little less technical. Is this the only one? Also my system can't run LDD Manager -
What is the best program to use to generate a parts list off a LDD file? I know this thread might be somewhere but I couldn't find anything.

NO...The Pet Shop is 3 stories, the pet shop itself takes up the first floor and there is a flight of stairs on the right of the shop. The stairs lead to the 2nd Story townhouse which has the fireplace.
-
I believe this is on the 2nd story of the Pet Shop as indicated by the blue walls and the small windows on the upper floor visible in that photo.

Come on Lego! Let's release this thing!

LDD Pivot Help!
Mrcool1804 replied to Mrcool1804's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
SuperKalle you nailed it! By hard attaching that one pivot block and changing out the axles it worked great! Thanks! -
I need some help. I cannot figure out in LDD how to get this certain system to pivot. Looking at the above image I am taking the two pivot arms and trying to rotate them downward to a 90deg angle. I can only get this to work if I remove one of the red (1x2 with stub vertical/end). This photo shows the second position and shows the piece I had to remove in order for it to work. Any help from you guys would be awesome! I also attempted to attach the .lxf file too. THANKS! .lxf File

This would make an excellent poll question: "Which is most logical to be the next Lego modular building?" A: Post Office B: Pet Shop C: Bank D: None of these
-
Thanks for the photo. Did anyone find any more? I know people claimed to have seen order forms for pet shops etc...but the problem with the internet is anyone can say anything, and I could claim that I own a toy store and have seen order forms for a Post Office or Bank. I will not believe what anyone says until I see official photos of the set. The speculation is great, and I am checking the forum everyday in hopes that today will be the day some photos leak! I am very confident that it will not be pet shop/apartment building, but I do realize that if it is you folks will let me know I was wrong
-
Can you please show me a photo of a pet shop in a 3 story building? I dont want to sound abrasive, I am just ignorant to pet shops in 3 story buildings..I can show you a few multi-story banks...the last one is in Seattle.
-
Im in the "It isnt a pet shop" camp...it just doesnt seem logical in the scheme of a typical "downtown" scenario...I live in a 500,000+ population city and we don't have a downtown pet shop, but we do have multiple banks....

What else have you heard? And from who?
