  1. Oh no, what a horror! What a shame I wasn't able to help her. That's pretty strange, but I suppose, she was poisoned during the night. I'm no doctor so I have no proof of this. But since I didn't believe in your vigilante-with-Tommy-gun-theory I'd say we got our vigilante, or a third party member, who's able to poison people so that they die lateron. Though, I'm just speculating. I have no evidence to back this up and I'm as puzzled as most of us. Well, we don't have any proof and you may very well be town. What I said is just that I find you more likely to be scum than everyone else we had suspected yesterday. It would be highly unusual and most propably unbalanced if the scum could both kill and convert in one night, unless the converting is a 1-3 shot ability. And in this case, I don't think they would waste it on day one. So I doubt a conversion, unless this is a bit like a film named Eurodina I watched once. I think our numbers would go down nevertheless quite fast, as most games...of life of this size have a vigilante and a serial killer as well...and obviously, there is one who poisons. Yeah, I also wonder. I though of the scenario, that Petr who worked for the mob, has killed Eugene in order to make Timur and Nika be suspected. But I don't think that's true, but it's kinda plausible.
  2. There are gods who do and there are ones who don't, I think. I'm not sure, but I believe that this god does. No offence, "god".
  3. Of those three the one I think is most likely to be scum is Barbara. Also, we seem to have another suspect, who was brought up by Petr/Eugene: Timur. I'm not sure about him, though. I doubt the killer was a vigilante. It is possible, but to me the Tommy indicates he's scum. Maybe the vigilante was blocked or decided not to kill. 1. I myself wouldn't have voted for Eugene, as the point against him was simply his roleplay. 2. I don't think Eugene would continue his roleplay the same way he did yesterday, not after all the confusion he created. 3. They could also have killed him to make the people who accused him, Nika and Timur, seem suspicious. So Eugene wasn't that bad as a target.
  4. It's sad to hear Benji was indeed a townie. I don't think we'll be able to conclude much out of voting patters, as most people seemed to jump on the bandwagon. I really wonder why the scum chose to kill Eugene. He was one of the few people accused yesterday, even if for no good reason. And There might be some reasons why he would be suspicious of Timur, like the ongoing discussion of the drug affair, or teh fact he was the second to vote for Benji (which doesn't have to mean much, as stated above). Also the thing with Samuel's vote is quite strange. But we can't do more about that than watch it and specualte I'm afarid.
  5. I myself don't see much reason to vote for Benji, the stuff you have gathered seems to be very constructed in my eyes, so I'll stick with my vote for Barbara. Not that we have much more against her, but still, her behavior of posting few with low substance. The only game affecting statements I've heard so far from her were that she didn't want to reach a lynch, her defense, that she has nothing to tell, and, if you want to count it as game affecting, that drug thing, which might possibly be perpetuating distraction. About Benji, I don't really see what makes him scummy. On the other hand, it's day one, so I wouldn't condemn anyone for convicting an innoncent. But I'd keep an eye on you, of course.
  6. Sorry, I meant vote: Barbara (Bob The Construction Man)
  7. We don't seem to make any progress at the moment, the discussion is literally slowing down and I doubt we'll get any further "evidence" (by evidence, I mean here just something that has come up). I think, the points against Benji and Petr are rather forced and not very strong. So right now, I'm going to vote: Barbara (Bob The Construction Man). I'm aware she's not unlikely to be town, but a decision has to be done.
  8. I don't think he called the Yoga part of the sentence a distraction, but he merely meant the point when she kept talking about drugs, while he calls the drug discussion distraction. I'm willing to vote for Barbara, but not just yet. I'll give her some time, she hasn't even had the chance to defend herself.
  9. Oh, I see. But still, he didn't make a big thing out of his drug abuse, it looked like pure roleplay to me, if it was an distraction attempt, it wasn't an elaborated one. Some roleplay, that doesn't add to the discussion, is not automatically distraction, but merely usual and even kinda oblique on day one. The person to bring it up as something to be talked about (which therefore would interfere with other discussions) was Nika. Not saying she scum, but I am suspect of her, because what she did might be a scum moveunlike roleplaying.
  10. Congratulations Rufus. I thought you already had a mafia tag, so I'm a bit surprised. But you well deserve it.
  11. It was clear from the time he said it. Hopw would you connect a drug addiction with the game..of life? He may be "manipulated by the scum", but how shall that work? The only thing I might think of would be that he isn't immune against conversion. But every suspicion based on that comment, even the slightiest, is absolutely idiotic. Or a scum move. That's what you say. In my opinion, according to Denis theory, that the penality will be most likely losing a vanilla townie, I'd rather lose an idiot that someone potentially helpful. It may be a hard decision, especially cosidering that as nurse I'm trying to help people instead of killing them, but we have to take priorities. And I can't think of anyone who is less usefl than a idiot vanilla townie, except for scum, of course. Saying your post was roleplaying is a lie. You said, he can be manipulated by the scum, which is an allegation. Also, if you were only roleplaying, why did you lateron say he might be suspect of him because of this? But you didn't consider telling it was a joke to be helpful after people didn't understand it as a joke? Talking publicly about drug problems may be bad roleplay at worst, but certainly not idiotic in reference to this game...of life. I'm not going to vote now, as we only have one unvote. I'm suspect of Nika, not mainly because of her accusation, but more because of her strange defense and the fact she still doesn't stop interpreting things into his drug addiction although he's stated more than once that is was only roleplay. But what really bothers me, is, that she claims her first reply had been roleplay as well, although it's clear it wasn't.
  12. Shall he tell us why he takes the drugs? Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but honestly, I don't think we'll get anywhere discussing about Eugene's drug abuse. But on the other hand, I'm not sure what we should talk about then
  13. This is great! I like the snowy landscape a lot, with the small river and the waterfall. Also the temple itself is very elaborated, especially the modular building, the ornaments and the interior. All in one, a perfect MOC.
  14. I doubt so. Reverse psychology would imply that a mobster acts like a mobster, which would be too risky in my opinion. It'll never work on anyone, so they'll in the end just draw suspicion on themselves and make sure people don't trust them. Also, I believe it's pretty hard to act exactly so scummy that it neither looks like you're a mobster who made a mistake nor you are just obviously scummy.
  15. While this may be true, I don't think we should judge books by their covers. In some of those great American movies I've seen people were convicted because of their roleplay character traits which never ended up good.
  16. I never said I wouldn't believe that we'll get a conviction. I was replying to Denis, who suggested to vote without reaching a conviction.
  17. I disagree. If a townie with a valuable action is about to be lynched, what will he do? He'll most certainly not just die quietly, I think he'd talk to somebody he considers trustworthy, tell him his role, so that the trusted person can stop us from doing a mistake. Even if we don't listen, he still might tell us his role himself. So the worst case is, that we get into the situation that we have to decide wether to believe him or not. From that on we might still let him go and try to figure out if he said the truth or kill him nevertheless if his claim sounds too mad. The penality might be everything. I remember watching the documentary about a governor during the prohibition making the National Guard prevent all night actions for two days in a similar situation. We might get the same thing with just town actions, or the scum might get a bonus convertion that night or we might all get penality votes or something we couldn't even dream of. Of course we may "just" lose a vanilla townie, but we won't necessarily gain anything from our night actions, so maybe we're tomorrow just at the same point with nothing but a vanilla less and another townie dead or converted. What shall we do then? Do some talk about vodka, decide not to vote and then go to sleep, waiting for the scum to kill or convert all of us? And what do we gain from voting without lynching? It says "If the day ends without a conviction".
  18. This mob is going to take every fun out of our lives. I mean, who shall I date when we're all dead? And who shall I get drunk with? Let's make sure it doesn't get that far. Unfortunately I haven't seen anything scummy so far, so I don't know who we should lynch. But we have to lynch someone, I feel. Well, let's have some drinks first. I always get the best ideas while drinking. Or dating. Or both at the same time. I've never heard about our town havig a coroner, but why would we need one? This mime is all biodegradable substance.
  19. Congrats to the winners, you deserve it. Well done!
  20. What a coincidence! You certainly have to come as soon as possible.
  21. Pudgy - Given to me by Hinckley, as I was named Petra in Belville Mafia and CorneliusMurdock called me pudgy once. After that, Hinck called me Pudgy Petra (PP), which was my nickname until the end of the game.
  22. Hi, I'm Petra. If anyone needs a nurse, feel free to visit me. Even if you don't need a nurse, I don't mind if you visit me either. Just bring some vodka with you.
  23. Wow, the Minotaur looks astonishing. To me this is the highlight of the series so far. But most of the other figers are also nice, such as the genie, the statue of liberty, the barbarian or the leprechaun. I love the mechanic for his hair, and the skater girl is also quite adorable. One more wave to hurt my wallet badly, but I just can't stop buying them. I'm excited what the others will be, I'm not sure if I'd need a paintball gunner, but it'd be a good chance for TLC to fill the demand of military figs without actually breaking their rules, just like the toy story soldiers.
  24. 1. Your past Mafia experience (You must be a graduate of Mafia School or have played before) Not Mystery, Mafystery or Shadows bloodbaths I played in Eurodina, Bloodbricks, Werewolf and now also in Belville Mafia, until I got replaced. 2. Your availability to post frequently for the next 6-8 weeks Got enough time, no vacation until the end of the year 3. Applied knowledge of the board software's use of the term "portal" It's the frontpage. 4. Your most embarrassing moment (yes, there's a reason. If you don't want to share, make one up ) In a rehearsal for a play in school, we had to practize with makeup on. Unfortunately the ones to apply the makeup were our art class, who had apparently never done something like that before and used ways to much. Also, I didn't have the time for thoroughly removing the heavy makeup, as I had to get my train. (Thinking about it, I should have waited for the next train, which came thirty minutes later ) So eventually I stood in a train full of people (and two very homophobic boys ) with more makeup on than a cheap whore. Hope that's embarrassing enough.
  25. It was a fun game, while I had time. I still feel kinda bad for leaving early, but well...thanks to def for stepping in. And congratulation to the winners. I suppose the townies made it too easy, killing so many of their own. You did a good job in hosting, Quarry! Maybe the timing wasn't perfect, but overall, it went well. I enjoyed it a lot, hoping I'll make it into Baritones.
