"Oh, another giant flesh-eating monster whale in the tarn. Why the hell did I convince you?"
-
I might be curious to hear it, but I don't think you should tell it publicly. And, we have nobody who we could have even the slightiest trust in. But if the Bull Testicles are really that powerful, we shouldn't lose them either. What a crappy situation.
-
"I'm afraid I'm not strong enough either, but as this norseman with the funny view on life has told me, I will not surrender, and especially not before even trying. And I've some experience with those Arena fights. I've never fought one, of course, but I've watched several and helped organizing one. And it's not always pure strength that wins them, I tell you. I didn't know they were legal, though."

Not voting is, in general, not a idea that strange. While I disagree with it being a good idea, there are townies who prefer no conviction on day one. But if there's a penalty, and the rules...of life say you have to vote, I think it's the better decision to vote. Also, we all know there will be a conviction, so not voting is a strange idea in this particular case. And Heng has a point, even though he's a serial killing nutcase. And what do you mean by cards?

Henry reads the list of the participants for the cave sounds quest, realizing he hasn't been chosen. "Oh, damn it" he says disappointedly. "At least there's still the two other quest I've been signing up for."
-
I concur. And abandoning her would be as good as random voting. Of course, it's not really random, as she has caused herself to get the penalty, but still, editing doesn't say nothing about people's allegiance. Furthermore, I doubt the scum would act as peculiar on day one as Carl did. I'm wary of his ideas, though.
-
Actually, he had alraedy acknowledged the fact he'd kill you by not voting: It's certainly remarkable that he still insists not to vote. I'm not sure if he's scum, or just dumb. Or he actually wants to kill you. Or he's really a jester, as many of you brought up. I'll not vote that early with no evidence, but it's good to see the ice is broken.

What makes you so sure? There's few ways to get information, the best one would be if an investigator gets a scum result, which has the same chance to hit scum as convicting somebody today. But there might be a naive or paranoid investigator, so things get more complicated, though. Then we may get information by a blocker blocking the agents' killer, but we might have a protector, so this isn't very valid. A role cop might catch somebody killing or converting, but that's not very likely either. There may be clues, but I wouldn't rely on them to be there. People would have to find them and interprete them correctly as well. Of course, there are further ways of gaining vital information, such as special night actions or simply behind-the-scenes talk, but overall I won't trust there will be some information tomorrow.
-
So I have been misunderstanding. Well. I'm still for voting. If we waste this day, and don't get any information by tomorrow, we'll be at the same position, just with a townie less.
-
I believe not voting would count as violation, as it's punished by a vote penalty. Although I might be mistaking. Could we get this clarified, Frl. Bloodbrick? Please?
-
Yeah, but nobody having a penalty is better than everyone having a penalty. If we everyone decide not to vote, we've all used our only failure allowed. So every mistake we do in the whole game, would result in a mod kill. That's a high price just for avoiding a conviction on the first day. And by the way, it's called a penalty and not an alternative. We should try to play this by the rules, IMO. I've never said I'd consider killing you as an option. It's just better than doing nothing and let you die anyway.

Amber Robertson's signing in.

That gotta be one of the worst plans I've ever heard. And I've heard some really bad plans. Like checking, why the wheat thresher doesn't work by putting my head into it. Honestly, it's not an option. Mot-voting would mean that we convict Bell, so we should still rather vote for her than not-voting, so your suggestion is simply stupid. No offence. Actually, if we would judge people by their background stories, which would be even worde than randomly voting, it would even mean, that Stanley would be town. Because I don't think Frl. Bloodbrick would hire somebody who helped kill her father. If she thought rationally. But then, if she thought rationally, she wouldn't try to kill us or simply kill us without giving us a chance, so that would imply she's as whacky as you others. But still, let's not be biased towards Stanley. Yeah, well, we have no clues. I have no idea who to kill, so we'll have to talk and wait.

Finally, we get some drugs. I already thougt you want me to pay for them. Makes this whole situation far more bearable. So we have to kill ourselves? Fine with me, who's the first? Oh, it's already been that Marcy woman. Never liked her, tough. Damn nutters all over this place! So, let's choose our drugs...I think I'll go with the DMT. Day One-Shift Two 1. Strawberry Dust 2. Dried Bull Testicles Carl 'Black Beast' Pie 3. Yellowjackets 4. Peach Cobbler 5. Downers 6. Pot Pourri 7. Bug Dust 8. Paint Thinner 9. Uppers 10. DMT Pearl Nuttin 11. Nasal Inhaler 12. Blue Bennies

Pearl Nuttin's signing in. Gosh, I think I'll need a ton of crack to sustain this ordeal with you bunch of maniacs. -

What about: Name: Sohei Gender: Male Print on torso: Several kimonos in tan and white Type of headgear: White headcowl, the one which was also used in some PoP sets. Type of facial expression: Determined Color on torso/legs: Both white, the torso's print continued on the legs. Accessory: Either a naginata, which would be the classical weapon of the Sohei, or even a Tanegashima musket. -
Henry enter the hall, feeling well after actually spending a night at home. He realizes there are two more quests up, which he hadn't seen before. Quest #6 sounds very interesting, he thinks, but then he realizes no rogues are hired. "That bloody Town Watch captain has certainly no idea that the best men to hunt criminals down are rogues themselves. I've found dozens of people who done crimes against people who could affort my help. And mere three people wanted! This captain's trying' to save money, ain't he!" He looks at Quest #7. "Well, I may be no veteran, but I surely know how to fight! And no mages, I'll apply for this one!" He writes his name down at Quest #7.
-
After some drinking and gathering some new views on life and Afterlife, Henry says "Goodbye!" to the other heroes finally leaves the hall and heads for his inn.
-
"I suppose most of the people in this Hall are a bit weird indeed," Henry admits. "But I'll second the other thing. To life and all of its pleasantries!" He raises his mug and downs his beer as well.
-
"Wow, you Northeners really have strange views on life. No offence, but if I had thought like that, I would have died before I got seven years old. And my family would still be dead. Except for my brother, but I didn't like him anyway. And I don't even have a tribe. And I don't really believe in Afterlife. Life's great, so why would I need an Afterlife?"
-
Henry wakes up on the floor. Apparently Tesni has managed to leave the Hall this time, so maybe he should do so as well, he thinks. He listens to the Barbarian named Eric, who tells about his group infiltrating the Shadeux warehouse. "So, er, Eric, I heard from some source (yes, that's right. He doesn't even need to leave the Hall to get into contact with his various sources ) that you were blinded during the final battle against that Shadeux gal. Why didn't your friends use some remedy to heal you? Just asking, I know it turned out all well (at least that's what one source says. Another one told him the whole group was bloodily slaughtered and hanged by the Château de Shadeux.) and you had stilla backup-plan to flee, but why risk it?"
-
"So you do mind. Well, never trust anyone who gives you 150 Gold. Especially not if there's a powerful mage around. And somebody else's faster than you. There will be other ways to make money." Henry grumbles something about mages and gold, while he sits down and walks off to order some food. "Now you've confused me. Wasn't Haldor first? And is the gold really available?"
-
Henry jumps on the 150 Gold? If you don't mind.
-
A French Conquistador? Although, you were a Italian Elf before, so no complaint. Pity, you were a remarkable person, even though being an Elf Ranger. So we can now eat cows and draw swords without being instantly poisoned and shot? By the way, the double Phoenix mosaic of the Ziegfrieds looks good, Sandy.
-
"Oh, I know that propblem. I haven't left the Hall for a week, propably", Henry tells Tesni. "I should get back to my home sometime. My poor flowers, they will be dead by now. So you see, I'm no good at making people leave. Unless they are defenceless and rich, of course. That sort always leaves when I'm around."
