  1. Wow, I really didn't exspect a Bellville mafia. Well, unfortunately I'll be away from July 23rd, which should be enough, but you never know. So I'll sign up, but I'll understand if I'm not taken. As for my previous games, three mafia games I've played so far, as said in my sig.
  2. Wow, I didn't exspect a review to be that soon. Thank you a lot, WhiteFang! The figs look really good, to me it's the best series so far (unfortunetly also the most expensive one ). I like the details on some of the figs, such as the detective's hat-printing and the shirt of the lumberjack. And of course I hope I'll manage to get a few of the gladiators and some mafiosi. Overall, great and very detailed review!
  3. Actually, most of the figs since series three were already suggested in the thread, such as the Race Car Driver, the Soccer Player, Rocker of course, Hockey Player, Sailor, and lots more. Of course this may be only coincidence (we've posted quite a lot of suggestions in there), but it seems logical for Lego to act on suggestions by fans.
  4. Well, there are children in some city sets, so I doubt TLG will do a collectible fig with such an undefinite occupation. I completely agree with you all that this list is obviously a fake. I really wonder which figs series 6 will contain, I'm especially excited for the historical minifig(s), as I considered them being the best ones so far.
  5. Well, I guess we have waited that long, we can endure a bit longer. But why have you kept the dancing ladies a secret from us so far?
  6. Hm, looks rather good. I wonder what the colors will be, right now I'm really astonished by his cool outer appearance, though I never was much of a Robin fan.
  7. I do understand why many dislike the attaching of the boxing gloves that much, but I myself appreciate it. I think it makes them look much more realistic IMO than if them were large enought to fit a minifig's hand in it. The incompatibility is certainly a big minus, but I still think I'm going to get myself one or two of the boxers. I wonder what the animal on the dwarf's shield is meant to be. Doesn't seem like a dragon to me and I wouldn't consider a dwarf to have such an creature on his shield either. I'm not a castle fan anyway, but I still think that another crest like the one on the belt would fit much better.
  8. And some fancy new avatars! BTW, just saw this, and I find it hilarious. It somehow fits perfectly IMO:
  9. Excellent build, I like both the tree and the interior. As others already said, some more green on the top would be nice, but it looks already quite good as it is. I'm a bit bugged by the use of yellow and flesh heads in one MOC, which I guess is a matter of taste, but I usually avoid that. Anyway, it's still gorgeous. I'm a conformist!!
  10. Who needs sanity? I've given it up long before and it feels great.
  11. Basketball players weren't all brown either, only the ones to represent real players, as those to represent real white players were some flesh tone (dark flesh? )as well. The genereic players were also all yellow. I don't think they would settle from yellow to flesh in non-licensed themes, I think flesh was even introduced to make the difference between lighter and darker skin tones clearer without giving up the neutrality of yellow.
  12. Reading the thread the first time, I thought WTF? But after watching 7 episodes in two days I even count myself as a Brony. Those Ponys are so cute. My favourite is Pinkie Pie, especially when she's jumping. I might get myself a n Avatar, but I still got to look for a good one. And you bet I make sure my parents don't find out. They would crank. I guess a forum of adult guys building and playing () with toys is a bit less biased against Ponys. Nice ava btw.
  13. The figs look much better as real photos. I think, especially the gladiator's and the mafioso's faces are better than I thought first. Also I like the boxer's other face, I think it will be useful in many MOCs. Makes me want to have most of the figs immediatly.
  14. I know what you mean. Series 4 was coming very soon after three had been released and we had seen all the figs of those series when neither had been released and now we wait for a rather long time for series 5, knowing nothing about 6. Also there's still a lot of unsold figs of two, three and four out there, I got my 4 Spartans long time after the actual wave had been out, the diofferent series are cumulating in my store and I doubt two will be sold out until 5 comes out...
  15. That was hilarious, Skrytsson.
  16. I think it's already hard enough to tie yourself up in a dark room, especially if you're a horse...even a very anthropomorphic one
  17. Now that's good news, even more blood and thunder. Once again, sorry that I've been so impatient lately, but you bet I'm eager.
  18. Oh, now I see it. Seems like I wasn't even close to the right solution . Good idea anyway.
  19. Part 4 is finally up. It's shorter than the other three ones and part five won't be much linger, as I suppose. Sorry for the delay, I'll really try to be faster with the next one. Enjoy!
  20. Very nice. I haven't seen the movie, but your MOC looks quite realistic. I like the shrine a lot, as well as the bridge and the legs. Good work.
  21. How nice, both structure and story are well-done. I especially like the roof, I wonder, what it looked like when it was intact. I'm afraid I don't get the clue, which one is the right entrance?
  22. Nice, I like the guy's appearance. And it seems the thugs will have radiocommunication this time...interesting.
  23. An 8x16 vignette I've done lately, ii is, as the title says, just about a generic assassination, nothing in special: A nice, average day in a secret military base, somewhere, far away from any civilization... ...when suddenly red light is flashing and a warning siren resounds: The medic is far too late, the snow is already stained by the blood of the provost: But the killer can't be far, the commander is going ahead and trailing the obvious tracks. Maybe a bit too obvious? Unfortunetly it was all just a ruse, the killer is still above them. Poor guard: Whole Vignette and view from above (the red points are footprints with blood in them, however the killer did this ): View from behind (nothing special here): Without the figs and only the figs: Hope you enjoyed. Comments are welcome.
  24. Hm, I still don't like Dent's outer look. I don't care that much about Catwoman's voice, but I'm really astounded we could play as her. I never considered her to have a that important role, but I really don't dislike what they make out of her. Though I wouldn't have thought she was that skilled at combat, as she's meant to be a sneaky cat burglar. My thoughts exactly, save for the funny punch line.
  25. A vent? This is getting stranger and stranger...I really loathe what they are doing to him, a bottle in the eye is already one of the most unpenguinlike things you could think of, but a vent on his neck is grotesque. This almost sound like some awful software designer joke, but I'm afraid that's more than impropable.
