Okay, thanks.

One question I'd like to ask, might sound a bit stupid , but: Is Umbra Shadeux dead now? Just because she's the heir to the Shadeux merchant house.
-
Yeah, I also say you give it a few more days. It#s strange so few players signed up.

Well, I myself don't actually think the mind-controlling fits Riddler that well either. He's more the kind playing them to make them do what he wants them to do, mind-control is more the way Mad Hatter would solve things. But a sadistic Riddler of course is about the wrst thing you could do to him, next to making him stupid. I disliked some of the villains in AC which weren't in AA. I think they're going over the top changing people. Penguin is the best example, but some others as well, such as Calendar Man.

Henry listens interestedly to the stories of the returned heroes. It seems they have been lucky with the third field, hitting no bomb and then winning after one turn. He hears the Ranger named Elgar asking people if they want to play darts. "Oh, with pleasure", he answers. "I used to be good at throwing sharp things. As long as no bows are used, I should be able to win." He grins toothfully, while he takes a dart.

Yes, I also liked the BTAS one a lot (although I admittedly am not that deep into the whole Batman universe, especially not in Comics. Still I thought TAS had quite intriguing views on most of the villains. I especially enjoyed the Two-Face episodes much, depicturing him rather as a vigilante than as villain. About the Riddler, I prefer version wearing suits. The jumpsuit looks simply hilarious IMO. I think of him as a person, who just wants to prove himself smarter than other people expect him to be, and of course smarter than other people themselves, if that makes any sence. I liked the Riddler version from the AA game as well, as bodyless villain, but I don't really like his look in the upcoming AC. In general, Arkham Asylum had some greatly done villains, and some which I think weren't done well. The Joker, e.g., with his skinny look and Mark Hamill's voice, was simply perfect, while I myself didn't like Killer Croc at all. I prefered the way he looked TAS, were he wasn't that stupid and beastly, but a real criminal. I really don't mind him to be freaky, but I think he was too animalistic. One of the few TAS villains I didn't like much was the penguin's outer appearance. Maybe I haven't seen enough versions of him, but he seems to be a tough nut to crack. The version in TNBA looked pretty well though.

Henry once again enters the hall, seeing a crowd around the questboard. Looks like there are finally some new quests up. "Strangers, eh?", he asks. "Sounds funny. And fortunately I have some experience with raiding ships, er, people who raid ships. I'm going to sign up for Quest #4." Henry walks off, but suddenly turns around. "Those strange cave sounds could also be a worthy adventure. I'm going to sign up for Quest #5 as well. But who the hell am I talking to?" Having signed up for both quests, Henry gets himself a drink and sits down somewhere, watching the other heroes in the hall.

While it seems a bit over the top to compare TLG with the StaSi, I too apreciate your effort. Too bad we might not see pics soon. Edit: Nevermind. I understand it's not serious.
-
I don't think that's very likely. TLG doesn't do sets cheaper than 10€ for licensed themes, so I think this is utopic. And they would shoot themselves in the foot if they would sell figs that are available in larger sets as single minifigs as well. It just wouldn't work. And I'm dying to see some pics.

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: sign up thread

You certainly can be trusted. If I had a role PM with an important night action, I'd now reveal it to you. That's getting old, isn't it? -

Jesus, that's great. The Roman won't be hard to identify, so hopefully they won't be all taken by the time I get to the store. And hopefully TLG will add five per box. Since most people "cheat" anyway, it wouldn't be their problem. And the Bandid is really cool as well. I missed the Cowboy from series 1, so I can need this guy. And black revolvers! Does anyone see if he carries one or two of them? The pyjama guy is...creative. Not too good, not too bad, just something I'd never have dreamed of. I like the bear and the hair, so I'll possibly get one. Nothing too special about the Flamenco dancer, though. Roman, Bandit, Highlander and Minotaur are must-haves. Statue of Liberty, Genie, Mechanic and Leprechaun are also nice. Looks like it#s going to be an expensive series. -
Hey a new mystery. I enjoyed RSM a lot, so I'm going to sign up for this as well. The plot sounds a bit like Desperate Housewives...or better Fabuland Housewives, to fit the small population. -Mafia: Eurodina, Bloodbricks, Werewolf, Belville, Baritones 3 (all town, all killed) Mystery: Red Scare Mafia, which I won, playing communist (as you might remember ) -Yay. -Gladiator, so far. I love him. Or maybe the legionaire of the upcoming 6th series, if this rumour is true. -Trainspotting.

You didn't state why you belong into a asylum...although I guess that's obvious. Hopefully we both will make it into the game, so this time I'll have my revenge on you just kiddin' -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
Peanuts replied to eiker86's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Really? In my supermarket there's lots of series 5 minifigs, I felt through some, and most of the ones I got were boxers. You could just pick one randomly here to get a boxer. No gladiators at all, but I already own one. Although I'd like to get some more. It's kinda sad there are so many left, it's a nice figure. I also like the boxing gloves instead of normal hands I don't think it would look well if they were attached to the hands. In order to feel them, if I find the torso of a figure I don't know, I'm always trying the hands. I did the same with the Blacktron guy and the legs at series 3. Also, the helmet is quite easy to identify, there are no similar pieces. -
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: sign up thread
Peanuts replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Let's get ready for another round of manic mafia games. I've played in Eurodina, Bloodbricks I, Werewolf, Belville and Baritones 3, always town, never survived. And why do I belong into an asylum? Simply because I'm completely bananas since my sojourn in Bloodbricks Asylum. -
Finally a balanced battle! Well, although...the British use guns, but two of them are already caught in hand-to-hand combat, and two are fleeing, and the other two propably won't reload fast enough to shoot multiple rounds, before the flying mummies kill them...the flying mummies are much faster than walking men, so I suppose the British won't get a chance to win this battle...on the other side... GO RED COATS! You'll kill them mummies! Nice build and an interesting battle indeed. Keep up the good work. And, by the way, I'd love to see some Mummy vs. Ninja fight.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion

It would be quite a coincidence if the cobold wouldn't be the leprechaun, as cobold means both goblin and leprechaun, and he even says green. So it's almost certain he talks about the leprechaun. -
Not only that I didn't expect an anagram, I am also a real sucker at solving them. So it wouldn't have worked anyway, unless the people I contacted would solve it, Zepher and Sandy. And of course I didn't tell publicly, I'd never shout out anything I'm just told. But I would rather have realized it was an anagram if you would have kept the sentence at three words with the same amount of letters. And it would have been easier to solve it. Just suggesting. To be honest, I'd rather have believed you to be an unblockable vigilante than an unblockable tracker. Can't say that I wouldn't have trusted you, anyway. And I'd never ever at all would have belived you you were an x-shot strongarm watcher/tracker. Same with me, my death was hilarious. I guess all Pudgy Petras love guns (or make love with them).

It was a fun game, but really, I would have voted for Draggy on the last day. How could you not do that after his wrongful claim? Well, we hadn't been told any evidence or any reasons, just that you're 100% they're scum. And you had been wrong about Zepher, although that was a minor issue to me. Honestly, how did you figure them out? To me, Sandy was perfectly suspect after she had revealed that. Oh well, the scum just had managed to kill most of our nicht actions, so I suppose we didn't really have a chance after a few days. It was still a fun game. Interesting idea about the mobs taking over each other. And the cut scenes were simply , especially the conviction of Quarryman.

Wow, that's one bloody trashy sword. I wonder by what malicious force a piece of solid metal could be that crooked? Compliment for that found, mage lady (OOC: Nice way of storytelling, btw. Hope you don't mind me to adapt it? I post in this thread far too rarely)

What If Battle Part 2 : British Line VS Musketeer
Peanuts replied to - Spark -'s topic in Pirate MOCs
I thought the word musketter derived from the word musket? Anyway, I think the ruined house is quite well done, and so is the battle itself. The quality of the whole MOC has improved a lot since the first part, IMO. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
Peanuts replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I hope that's true, it's high time we get Roman soldiers. I'm pretty sure I'd buy everyone I'd find, even if they make 2,50€ per figure. Although I'd rather have seen them with the gladiator's gladius instead of a pilum. Well, they had carried both, so I guess I'll have to be content with spears as well. -
May I ask what a sleep-effect bears on the enemy? I couldn't find it anywhere at the rules.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Peanuts replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'm not sure I'd want to see some, I don't think they fit into the show well. I would really love another game, or more novels featuring them, but I don't think RCs and TCW could coexist well without messing up even more Karen Traviss stuff, or even bringing up the whole idea of the RC novels with the Jedi as incompetent, troubled personalities, and so on. Also, the RCs sren't able to cooperate with the other characters, as they are supposed not to. And a whole episode introducing some completely new characters, which the kids propably haven't even heard of before, and regarding all the existing characters in the movie, would be quite abstruse. Also, those who are unfamiliar with the RC stuff, propably won't even see the difference from the other clones, who are doing all the things the RCs are doing in the game as well. Also, you'd have to decide with version you'd take (the game or the novel version), so that they either can revive themselves and you have to introduce and explain the different versions of the DC-17m, personal shields and extra-solid armors, or you'd go with the complicated Karen Traviss version, which contradicts TCW in some points; for example the Mandalorian mercs, who are non-existent or DW-terrorists in TCW. in TCW the Dominoes' training pretty much resembles the RCs, taking on a lot of Droids all by themselves, infiltrating "the citadel", personal training by bounty hunters etc. And as some people mentioned before, we have about a hundret of republic intelligence servises and special clone trooper forces, and I think it would just confuse people. I'm glad about the cameo nonetheless, they could have given them about a minute more time on the show, but that's all, IMO. -
Baritones 3 Confirmation and Discussion thread
Peanuts replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Don't mind, never had such a funny time dying. And I bet, if you had been in the game, there would have been more PP references.
