  1. Thanks mate! Always glad to hear from you :) I strongly hope i will continue doing my best at combining studded-looking technic rc models :)
  2. I like your model very much! Great work!
  3. That's a Great MOC! I wonder, does the idea of the tank have anything in common with the PC Game S.W.I.N.E ?
  4. Thanks for the information! I saw the review, but didn't pay enough attention to the part of it you mentioned. there's also this article: 8110 Seeking for answers @ TB
  5. Hi guys! I was wondering if any of you has found any difference in performance between those two pneumatic mini-pumps: vs. Pneumatic Mini-Pump 6 L ----------------------------------------------------------- Pneumatic Mini-Pump 5,5 L The left one is the newer version, which was released in the 8110 Unimog set. It's longer by half a measure, which in my mind means it has a bit more displacement volume. I was wondering whether that additional "umph" in each stroke results in any significant improvement in its performance? Please share your personal experience in the matter. Thanks! Best regards, le60head
  6. Thank you very much for posting! I might even print it to enjoy it completely!
  7. I think they can be easily replicated :) That doesn't answer your question, though. Good luck with your search, I'll be eager to find out if you have any result with it :) Regards, legohead
  8. Hey there! I know what you mean, my hands usually get sore after disassembling a lot of technic pins or cross axles. The best solution i have found so far is very simple really: Use a rubber-coated textile glove. You do not need to put it on, just use it to grab the parts you need to pull off. Using a rubberized glove, you get better grip on the parts and do not need to squeeze them as hard. This results in straining your hands far less. Try it out yourself, hope my advice helped :) Best regards, legohead
  9. Thank you for writing this review! I really wanted to see some good photos of the model. Regards, legohead
  10. I saw your trial truck tip videos, and was completely put off of using those tyres. Thank you very much for the information - i decided and got myself the power puller tyres instead :D
  11. Thanks for the pics guys! I'm really excited about this year's flagship! P.S. I just saw some preluminary photos of the box of this year's flagship - the rock crawler. It seems to me, that on the illustration of the functions on the front of the box, it is displayed that all 4 wheels are steerable? Also, i am guessing that the two m-motors, used for propulsion are mounted on the front and read axle respectively.
  12. That's a great modernised version of the model. I love how you have recreated it using the newer parts. Thanks for sharing!
  13. Hello! I've seen it already - it's too small for what i need it. That's why i started this topic asking for a high-res scan of the sticker sheet. Thank you for sharing that image in this topic! Best regards, legohead
  14. Thanks for sharing, DLuders. I haven't seen that model so far. Looks great I still claim i've developed one of the smallest working return-to-center steering system. Would anyone prove me to be wrong? I'm really keen on finding out :)
  15. Hello! I just wanted to "bump" the topic, since i'm still looking for a good-quality scan of those stickers. Please let me know if you have one available. Many thanks, legohead
  16. Thats a pretty good idea. I'll be delighted to see it work! Heres a link to my minifig scale RC bus: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=62632 For the reasons stated in this topic, i used only 1-wheel propulsion, and no diff since the model is 7-wide. I hope my solution would give you some inspirations. I'll be keeping an eye on this topic. Good luck! Best regards, legohead
  17. Hello! Here is what i know: Every part produced by TLG has a Design ID and an unique Element ID. The Design ID is the same for all parts with the same shape. The Element ID is unique for each color of the same part. The bricklink id is USUALLY the same as the LEGO Design ID, but not always. You can see the LEGO Element ID of a part in bricklink in the "view small images" page . here's an example link: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp?itemType=P&itemNo=camel&v=2 So, the LEGO Element ID for the camel is 4580496 for Dark Tan color and 4589494 for Tan color. the design ID is unknown to me. I have no knowledge of the peeron ID system :) Hope i helped, if you have any addidional questions i'll be glad to help with what i know. Regards, legohead
  18. Hello! I intentionally bought some of those exact old pins off bricklink. I think they hold parts together much stiffer than the newer black pins. When i construct a model, i use the newer softer pins ofcourse. Since yeah, my hands would be broken otherwise :D I'm gonna make an experiment and rebuild the Supersonic RC 8366 set with the older pins, to see if it would become more stiff. Right now the model has some flex in its constcution. Here's a tip about DISASSEMBLING technic parts: put on rubberised gloves. It helps ME a lot, and it takes a lot less effort. Regards, legohead
  19. I saw the explanations on Philo's website. I've found tons of very useful information on that site. Wanted to say a BIG Thank You for that :) Since i'm not that familiar with electrics, i'd be happy if someone could post a graphic on how to wire a 9v to pf power adaptor. Best Regards, legohead
  20. Thanks for the tip! I got mine cheaply from Ebay DE as well. The set 8466 costed me 44.39 Euro (no shipping included). It was in superb condition, with only 3 or 4 parts damaged and about 5-6 missing. I ordered the missing parts for around 10 Euro from bricklink. After a quick wash it was good as new :) I'd say I'm a happy camper :) More like happy offroad-er
  21. I do not understand what has been done in that photo. I've tried powering up a PF IR receiver with a non-pf battery box, but it doesn't work. Could you please explain which of the 4 wires should be connected on the PF plug in order for it to work with a 9v-type battery box. Also, how has this been done on the photo? Thanks
  22. Good luck with your transformer :)
  23. I just read trough this topic and i'm seriously amazed! blueShinyApples, your solutions is incredible. i couldnt't understand how it worked until i saw the video. Congratulations on your idea :)
  24. Thanks for that finding! I tried photoshopping the image, but I think it would be as easy to redo the stickers. There is a lot of noise unfortunately, which gets worse when the photos is lightened.
  25. Hello! I am looking for this sticker sheet: Since i do not see any available lots for sale ( at least not in europe ) i'd like to ask you for a favor. I purchased the two figs from the set: Unfortunately, they came without the leg stickers. If anyone has those stickers ( even if they are applied) could you please make a scan or a hi-res photo of them? What is most important is for the picture to be undistorted - no zoom or perspective distortion. I need just the leg stickers. If anyone has them, and is willing to take a scan or a photo, i'd be very thankful! Best regards, legohead
