Cheers, fella. It is indeed John D's helmet. So now we just need Red Leader. Very interested to see what set these are coming in as the pilot jumpsuits are quite pale colours. Both female pilots too. Insignia on the B Wing style helmet definitely looks more 'Resistance' than 'Rebel' to me. Could these be the pilots in the T-47 speeder set? If they're TLJ I'll just pick up the red helmet. -

I’m not part of that group. Any chance they can be shared somewhere? Would that red helmet resemble John D’s Red Four? -

Cat doesn’t always leak too much but if she’s posted this then she must be pretty sure... and knowing what she does I trust her as much as any other bringer of news. If it doesn’t surface as Cat has suggested then I’d say it’s down to something changing rather than her being misleading. -
[PRESS RELEASE] 75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017

I feel your pain with it.I've actually found ordering Hot Toys direct from Sideshow works out cheaper for me in the UK. Shipping has been free and even the £40 import fees worked out less once the dollar-pound conversion was done. I can't imagine buying lego regularly in Australia, especially exclusive and hard to find items. -

Don't forget. He's probably not referring to US Dollars in that $1500 but Australian or New Zealand Dollars which work out much closer to the European price for the set. Australasian prices are always high so I don't think he's paid that much more than anyone else. Certainly not the price of two Falcons. He's probably no 'richer' than anyone else on this board who picked one up. -
No. I'm pretty sure they're identical. I don't think Azog was listed as an exclusive... same way Bard the Bowman wasn't the following year.

I think people are looking way too much into this. It is one of the biggest sets period... it just happens to be the biggest. Has anyone read some of the stuff that goes on set descriptions? It literally sounds like Google Translate had a brain fart at times. Chances are this was written by a non-native English speaker (albeit one who is completely fluent) and they just wrote it that way. This isn't one of those leaker codes where people read the capital letters in a sentence to get the name of a future set. -
I have, but the Falcon is still sealed at the moment until I get the time to have a good go at it. I'm sure there are many others on this board who have, or will have, both.

I'm pretty sure Hot Toys are making an Executioner Stormtrooper so it must be something that's getting pushed as a figure if we're seeing torch versions etc. -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it before but I thought I'd ask. Red Five 10240 UCS set has always had a woefully undersized R2 unit seeing as they put a regular minifig in it... How good a fit is the polybag buildable R2's dome for that scale? Would be if a better fit for the UCS size? -

I don't think the system scale Falcon will take anything away from sales of the UCS Falcon... if anything I think the UCS Falcon might point sales towards a system scale one... there'll be loads of kids who'll get that after asking for the large one... -

Well mine has arrived and is sat behind me... Box was packed into the outer cardboard box which actually still had the 'don't place on a shelf before October 1st' on it. There was a second outer box that had been smacked around but the outer box was perfect and obviously the main box was also perfect. I'll be starting, albeit it tentatively, this evening... Maybe one bag or two... Hopefully I can grab some time this week so really get stuck into it. Worst case scenario my wife is out on Saturday evening so I know I'll get some time then. The box is just so big! -

I know exactly what you mean... but there have been 3 or 4 of them done that can sit alongside any of Lego's official releases and they'll fit right in. There's a Bones that was done and the printing is superb. -
You're right, it is someone else's job. Your own.

I'm in a similar situation. Hopefully I'll have room on top of a bookshelf that is quite deep. I'm interested in knowing the same measurement. -
So you're going to place a review on something you don't own? A review that should show what you thought of the build, the quality of the design, the packaging and everything else involved? A review should not be about your experience of trying to buy something unsuccessfully. That's something entirely different. How old are you? I don't think I was harsh... quite the opposite actually.
-
Anyone who reviews something they don't own with a low rating simply because they were unable to buy it is a special kind of idiot.

Mine is now at my couriers local depot and the VIP points have now been added to my account so it looks like they've started to get things together. Interesting if it's true that stores are already getting some new stock... I wonder if the additional stock was already assigned for distribution so wasn't sold as part of the online sale. -
Noones getting rich on one extra Falcon. They're selling for £900 on eBay. Take your 10% EBay fees + PayPal fees and you're getting less than £800 for it. With £650 outlay you're making less than £150. Nobody that's laid out £1300 in one shopping trip at a Lego store considers that 'rich'. Factor in that most people on this thread would then consider the person doing it a bit of an ar**hole and I wouldn't say it was worth it. It's silly that people are paying almost £5 for the leaflet but for some reason I get the feeling people think it's the instruction booklet.

I don't think they'll have any on the 1st. And buying three to flip at a profit? Have you read the last few pages of the thread? Are you missing the general mood of people that are genuinely wanting to buy one? -

I was told last week that the Liverpool store was going to get 8 in today and another 8 in next week. Whether that happens now with the way the stock levels seem to be worldwide I'm not sure. Getting confirmation that it's going to be around for a couple of years is good though. Hopefully they get the stock levels back up and people will start to see them available regularly in store and online... that should kerb the scalpers enthusiasm a little. I've just checked my order status for S@H and it's marked as completed. There's a tracking number assigned to the courier so it looks like they've started to ship the items ordered this morning out from the warehouse. -

UK order? -
Give them a call to confirm. They'll let you know the status of your orders and cancel the second one of you don't want it... or at least confirm that you're not trying to cheat the system.

Robianco replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It seems even I (in the UK) can add one to my bag but I can't get it to ship. Just to be clear I wasn't looking to order another one but I wanted to check the practicality of the situation for overseas buyers.
