As far as I know you can only order Minifigures.com toys directly from them. They're a subsidiary of Firestar Toys so you can order them from there too. I've never seen them stocked anywhere in a physical store.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Robianco replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm always wary when things like capes start being mentioned. I'm not sure why the phone option rather than the web order is any different but when things that are clearly 'sold out' (i.e. not available) start being picked up it always gets me thinking someone is using it as the replacement brick service... like the person who got several full figures that just weren't available from B&P such as the Death Trooper from Krennic's shuttle complete with pauldron. Nice that the new dual moulded legs are available from the beach set... at least Flash will have his boots for so many people and Dr Fate customs will benefit too. -
That wouldn't bother me at all. I'm more inclined to think it'll be training Luke rather than the version that arrived at Bespin, which would be perfect for me after getting Phoenix's Cloud City Luke. The named characters in Battle Packs thing is a really exciting development in the SW line... It opens up the possibilities for so many new and updated characters in a single wave rather than just as the odd figure in flagship sets. I'm sure the Bounty Hunters BP has proven popular so hopefully any future sets will sell well enough to keep this going. I may have misread something but is the Tatooine BP the one with the Jawas, Sandperson and Astromech (possibly R5?)

OK... So the standout ones for me on that list above are the copy of Christo's Golden Age Flash and Brothers Figure's Nightwing. Have Pogo improved at all recently or is this still destined to be utter rubbish? All they have to do is get the torso right and the helmet piece. The head, arms and legs with dual moulding can all be sourced from Lego.

After selling every custom I own I'm also in that mindset. It's a very nice place to be after experiencing the ever growing custom world.

The Christo custom of that figure is up around the $1000 mark on the secondary market. Probably more than that now to some buyers (Yes, I know that's utterly ridiculous for a minifigure). An SDCC Exclusive would seem cheap in comparison.

Well his legs were just dark blue trousers so they should be straight forward. Medium Blue is the colour to aim for. I've seen a couple of options people have done for that but for the life of me I can't remember what they used. I think I've actually seen someone use a torso from Minecraft with a block neck although I think there's probably better options.

Phoenix Customs Luke figure as mentioned by Brickweiser. Not official in any way shape or form. Just putting this here in the interest of ending the need to build any kind of conversation around it.

It wasn't that long ago that the licensed forum was just as bad as the SW one. There were full on DC or Marvel flame wars... then things got split between the two and that stuff stopped. It seems that it's down to 'leaking'... the leakers know stuff... and share bits here and there but it's the fake leakers that really throw it at the fan. Then we can expect page after page of name calling and all that fun stuff that follows along with endless wish listing. I actually think it's about the age of the average member in there. I'm going to guess it's hovering around 13 years old (I'm not joking on that). It's by far the most immature place on this entire board. There are people on there that may just be old enough to actually be members of this board now but I've seen full on 'toys-out-of-the-pram' behaviour from people. It's basically the kindergarten of the board.

Even if nothing is new in that set it's nice to have SY put all those designs into one set. There's the Amazing Spiderman that Christo printed SDCC Spidey, Phoenix Arachnid Hero, Negative Zone Spidey, Superior... They could be very nice for the Spidey fans out there (of whom I'm not one by the way).

Really not sure why they'd do that. I can only think they had instructions to ditch certain pages and somehow your has got caught up in things... maybe even a jealous kid reported the page. What a rubbish thought.

It's a mould that was created seemingly for use on the Lego Batman movie... so it's therefore had a budget assigned to it from a licensed theme. As ridiculous as that might sound it pretty much doesn't matter whether it's a brick element, accessory element or minifigure element... it's a licensed part and will have it's own B&P sale restrictions (whatever they may be). The hair used for Governor Tarkin was also used on Ghsotbusters... and was then used in a City Modular set... but it wasn't available on B&P straight away even though it was used on a non-licensed set. Being non-licensed still doesn't mean it'll be sold on B&P. Finn's hair was released straight away and it still only used on SW licensed sets (as far as I know) so there's no hard and fast rule. The dual moulded legs on the City beach set aren't available even though the dual moulded legs on the licensed sets are, although some have sold out since then. I'm sure everyone who has a Flash minifigure is waiting for those red and yellow dual moulded legs to be available but as yet they're not. Han's new hairpiece was only available in the Death Star set and was very valuable for a while... now they're 32p each. My main point was that no matter what the part is it's been designed by someone... it's a likeness of an object, or person, or element that has been designed and revised over time to become the moulded part that we now have. That process is owned by Lego as is the part so we can't just tell them to 'pull their finger out' and sell it how we want it as it's 'only a.... ' and therefore they somehow don't have the right to not sell it as an individual piece. They're protecting their investment in their design team, development and tooling to create that part no matter how insignificant it may be. Personally I think it would be something that would be available from B&P at some point in the very near future but until then they're around £1 each on Bricklink.

Lobsters obviously aren't licensed but the design of the Lego version and the mould for their small plastic version they produce is. Having two arms, legs, torso and head aren't subject to license but Lego's minifigure is. They own their design so they get to decide how and when they sell it. If you want a lobster from the real world, the unpatented one, just go and catch one. Lego don't sell lobsters. They sell plastic toys designed by people they employ, sometimes for themes that are under license.

I've actually got an eBay listing at the moment that has the blue and red lanterns from that set as part of the figure lot.
-
You're not doing a frame of First Order too are you?
-
I have quite a few as well as the various gunners and riot stormies. Enough to fill a frame perhaps? ;)

Ha... yeah. I got to the point where there was over £400 a month of new custom figures hitting the market and it just got ridiculous. I've got around 10 from 70 or so customs left. I've still got 6 Christo figures on the way from ordering them 4 months ago so they'll be sold when they arrive. At least there's a very healthy profit in them. I've got every DC figure they've ever released. (although I'm officially missing a couple of the SDCC figures but I've got pad printed customs of those). I decided to stick with OT Star Wars (which includes Rogue One) although I'm moving on any Force Awakens stuff I've got. I've not got the space for things and my loft is filling up with things I haven't built so I'm going sell so keep things normal. There's a very expensive UCS Falcon on the way and I'd rather buy that and build it than around 10 custom figures or various other Super Heroes sets with mediocre builds. I'm still undecided whether to sell the figures separately and then just have a big auction for the set builds or put the figures back with the builds and sell the sets individually. I've decided to keep the Tumbler and the 1966 Batcave as the builds are something I like. I did treat myself to a Hot Toys Boba Felt and Stormtrooper though.
-
Yeah... That Whiplash could be spectacular if they get it right. I must admit I've sold all my custom figures and I'm getting rid of my Super Hero figures altogether so I've bot been checking the compatible figures that much. I'd hope that they keep improving and making things really worth getting.
-
Well that's Christo's original Whiplash I think and it looks like they've copied the CitizenBrick Breaking Bad wave there along with come of their own options... or even minifigures.com.
-
Ha... Yeah... I'd fear for the accent though. As a scouser I'm very critical of the accent and if it didn't sound right it would bugger the whole thing up for me. He'd have to have some lessons from his old mate Serafinowicz first.
-
If John Constantine had a lovechild with Shaun of the Dead it would look something like this.
-
Surely a minifigure scale Falcon would be the UCS set we are so eagerly anticipating for release later this year rather than March '18?

I'd put it down to age. I think if there's one thread in this whole site that attracts more underage members it's that one. Which brings immaturity. The SW/DC/Marvel threads have always been the most vulnerable to this kind of derailment due to attracting the younger members. They also have the most geek-heavy angles to them... the people who 'NEED TO KNOW NOW... I CAN'T WAIT!!!!' Or those that really hope that figure 'X' is released because they missed the last one (because they were 9 when it was released 3 years ago) so the thread turns into a wish list followed by three pages of discussion why 'We'd better get another figure before that one or Lego are being idiots', none of which has any relevance to what's actually being released.

If this was an SY wave it could be very special but until actual images surface we won't quite know...
