10240 Red Five comes with an astromech. It’s not minifig scale. Not even close. Having that droid come with the set is no indication of anything other than the fact they haven’t got a correctly scaled astromech for UCS sets. Snowspeeders have a Pilot and a Gunner so they gave both figures. That’s not to say they won’t put two figures with the Y-Wing. But I don’t think it’ll be Biggs. Dutch Vander is coming in the Y-Wing. Helmet is very similar to the old one but with grey side panels printed too (at least some stripes to flesh out the grey areas). We already know we’re getting two figures with the X-Wing along with two astromechs. Why would anyone think Biggs would be the figure with the Y-Wing? And we’ll actually get a third X-Wing Pilot with Antoc Merrick in the advent calendar. There’s no reason to put X-Wing Pilots with Y-Wings.

The leaked Biggs is from the system scale X-Wing coming out later this year. I don’t see them putting an X-Wing Pilot with a UCS Y-Wing. Dutch Vander is the figure with the Y-Wing. If we get a second figure with it it’ll be a Y-Wing Pilot. I’d love a second X-Wing Pilot with the system scale set to be Garvey Dreis but it’ll probably be Luke again. At least we’ll have Antoc Merrick from the calendar to fly an X-Wing too.

I think I much prefer the jumpers without the badges and just having the colour detailing for houses. I must admit... I think I mentioned my scepticism of there being 20 figures in this set... especially as there's rumours of a much larger set later in the year. People do seem to run with these ideas... remember, if it seems too good to be true... I much prefer this Hagrid. It has his wild hair and beard much better. I quite like McGonagall having legs rather than dress. As long as the print on the legs is nice when in hand. All the hair pieces look nice to be honest. Having the Willow as an add-on should hopefully open up the landscape of the Castle and give is a little more wall at least. I'd like to think that these new sets (or possibly waves in future) give us a really good scaled Hogwarts as a complete campus. Maybe with Goblet of Fire Dragon Challenge as things that can be used with it along with the rumoured Quidditch set.

They always dangle something minifigure-wise on UCS sets these days. The Snowspeeder gave us two new helmet prints and printed arms, TIE gave us printed arms, Falcon gave us a new Han and Leia. I can imagine two new helmets and arm printing with the cylinder code detailing. That and new Astromechs make it a must for OT buyers.

So whoever has seen the image of Dutch. Is there any change on the rebel pilot design? Arm printing?

You have to use a hosting site similar to Flickr then you can link to the image which actually becomes hot linked so it displays. That way the site doesn't have to host images. There's a thread here to help you.

That logo lock-up says in cinemas from 25th May. The text on the right says new Lego Star Wars products from May so no specific date for the set releases.

So which part of tehe site were these available on? It's funny... the disparity on price on BL for these. Some people are trying to charge £200 per piece for them and yet there are sellers that have them for £12 per piece. How much were they from Lego for those that ordered them?

That UCS Y-Wing might be badly timed...

That's fine with me. As I've said, this wasn't about trying to be a 'leaker' or throw up a 'scoop' as they've been around for a while. Cheers. :)

It's more the point about sharing images. We've had images that look like they've been taken actually in the factory in the past... we've even had images that were from a huge lot of individual parts that were being sold on Taobao that actually predated the figure release by around 6 months. If these were the first initial sightings of those figures and were sensitive with regards to timing then I wouldn't be sharing them on here. But once they're everywhere, not watermarked and are owned by many people then it doesn't seem too out of place to be able to show them. Obviously if the mods would still like them removed then I'll happily do it or simply accept that they were removed by a mod themselves. The clamour for information is one thing... If you're as well connected as you appear to be then you'll know exactly what the May UCS set is. There are people that know for sure what those sets are. They've seen them. You may have seen them. With that there are things that people can share and things they have to keep to themselves for various reasons. I'll never ask anyone to share anything... I accept and enjoy when something solid is shared and get some insight to what is coming up and decide whether I'll be buying it. The way that information is 'leaked' or shared has changed. We've always refused to show watermarked confidential images but once things become more open then those images have been shared. On occasions Lego have asked for certain images to be taken down or even an embargo placed on any images form a certain set/wave/theme. We've also had instances where other sites have had a cease and desist on image use but EB hasn't been asked and has been able to continue showing images... but EB will always comply with the wishes of Lego. It's a good relationship. Unless I'm mistaken or missed something we don't have a blanket ban in place on all images that aren't official being shared. Yet with the rise of reddit subforums we almost don't bother showing anything here and simply redirect to those places to view things. That may very well may be the better way of doing things, or simply become the way of things happening. In this case I simply happened past an image of several figures and thought I'd share.

Well they've managed to make their way into several continents then as they've been advertised in Mexican Lego Marketplace pages as well as UK pages. And to be clear... this isn't just from one person. There are several

I know the leak images started to circulate a while ago but I don't recall seeing a Ki Adi Mundi or Qira in anything other than the promo shots of the sets. These are now being sold quite readily although the prices are ridiculous just for the benefit of owning it a month or two early. Not in HK toy shops. Being sold quite readily by sellers in the UK. If it gets to a situation where I can message someone in the UK who advertises pretty much all of the figures from the Solo and other sets and buy them with delivery by Royal Mail then I'd consider that pretty much 'in the wild'...

I didn't think EB wasn't allowed to show any form of leaked or early release images anymore. I know confidential watermarked images are a no-go. If a mod wants it removed then I'll happily delete it or I'm sure they'll do it anyway.

Has there been a rumour of a February 2018 SSD? There's normally two UCS sets per year and the first one is May with the second coming later in the year. The May release is apparently a rebel fighter / bomber. I thought people were now putting their houses on the second UCS of the year being a Cloud City now? I don't see a SSD or SD happening this year.

There have been several of the figures from those sets for sale in the Lego Star Wars Collectors FB group for a few weeks. The printing on the Imperial disguise Solo cape looks fantastic. If I don't get any other figures from the Solo line I'll be getting the Imperials.

It’s entirely up to you if you want to call SVL out as a liar in here, but you’d be wrong. SVL has been a member for 11 years and has been completely reliable as a source of information. I’ve said it numerous times but please remember none of us are entitled to any information and if people can’t share everything they know then there’s normally a very good reason.

Ha... yeah. That could happen. The Sandtrooper in the new Cantina is actually just the same figure as the versions in the older Droid Escape Pod set though... so they're not updating things too much. Anything RO or Battlefront won't be updated at all so it's just Stormies or Biker Scouts. I can see the Biker Scout getting a new helmet at some point but I'll just swap the arms over when they appear (eventually). Thankfully the price of new and old Stormtroopers or Snowtroopers doesn't fluctuate that much so I can always sell any particular faction and update them quite easily if I feel the need.

Good luck to anyone from EB applying for Series 2. As I've not been to an EB event yet it will again seem weird seeing people from here on TV but I can see me being really proud of any member here doing their thing on there.
