Sadly I think he actually has a point in some regards

The Vahi does indeed give the user the ability to control time, but I think you've just jumped into a conversation knowing half the facts and blatantly ignoring what everyone has said and claiming you're correct because of it. The Vahi was stated to be half a mask, if (READ: IF) this is true, it means the Vahi has a second half that can be used separately, or perhaps combined, with the Vahi to create a new mask that may be able to do all sorts of wacky stuff. Your comment on the Toa and Makuta is assuming that we know these aren't the same guys we got in 01. Complete memory loss, etc could cause completely new personalities based on completely new experiences. If you were an alcoholic and had your memory wiped you would have no memory of the addiction or any previous events that would have caused such an addiction and you could start a new life without the baggage of said addiction. We don't know anything really. We'll probably only find out when they discontinue this BIONICLE line as well. Finally, we have no confirmation on whether this is a reboot or continuation. We do have evidence to support that it is a continuation, but we have nothing concrete. LEGO has changed elements of a plot just before release before. No one is trying to link the two universes. There's no point because we have nothing to go on except a comment from a person who works at LEGO. And what mess? How is there a mess at all? We've got no solid evidence to support either one. Anything can change in-between universes because said universes have both different pasts and different compositions. There's no mess because we've got no links whatsoever yet. Very true, but that really leaves a lot of questions floating around regardless. I can agree with you on enjoying the story, the Boxor thing was really cool and shed some light on Nuparu's nature. Just out of place in continuity, but it's such a minor thing I can ignore it unlike NINJAGO with the insanity of how many times they've totaled the old lore just to bring about some stupid plot twist that offered worse character development than the alternative.

Personally I just want a more technologically advanced aesthetic, so to speak. The Mata Nui era was cool, but it was crazy in the sense that they had been there for 1,000 years and they had only just reached the Protodermis layer? Nuparu can make a robotic boxer out of Bohrok parts yet no one can make a mining machine? etc. They've at least fixed the last part with the PoE's rotating drill a bit. But still.

Eh, most of them know it isn't voodoo. But I know it's a minefield around some (rare) people.

What do you mean, "can't be that small!"? Those gears have existed for years and have almost, if not always, served as part of a function. There is no evidence whatsoever to support the idea that the Boulder Blaster can split into multiple vehicles. The underside is purely devoted to the main function of the set. Period. There is no room for any vehicle on the interior on the set, only a 2 by X* space, no meaningful vehicle could fit inside there other than a hoverboard/skateboard. There isn't anything inside but more gears. And the top of the set won't come off either. I'm telling you now, there isn't any vehicle splitting happening. *unknown space

As do I. If "half a mask" means anything at all, then where's the second half of the mask? Did it have something to do with the Toa's arrival in the Nuvaverse/CCBSiverse/diehardfanboyhell-iverse? And if so, when was the second half made? etc. Likely case scenario, when they give the line the axe IF the Vahi is a legit plot connection then they'll go all out with the references, like they did with STARS. I myself want this to be a separate continuum entirely, I go to a Christian school (and am myself a Christian) and it's incredibly frustrating trying to convince some people that THE MASKS AREN'T VOODOO. Yes, the line was originally called Voodoo heads, but... eh...

I think the whole standardization is the main gripe I have with CCBS. Lack of variation is infuriating for me. All I want to see mainly is bone pieces with Technic holes instead of balls for armor attachment alongside what we've currently got. It would do wonders for variation and Titan construction.

It was a case of "let the fans decide" for a number of years how and where the Toa came from. And "Mata Nui sent them" doesn't count. edit: gah, I really need to use quotes more often. Kalhiki, sorry I didn't see your post. Look, at this point I think everyone is on a different point regarding continuum. Probably best to save the arguing for when they DO reveal what the case is

If they were the original masks, they'd have the same powers, yeah? They're called mask powers, not Toa powers. And even so, alternate dimension would apply anyway. Different worlds = different composition. Lewa was practically Jungle in the original G1 anyway, given the green color and the jungle aesthetic. This is an alternate dimension, not Cubus Magna brother of Spherus Magna.

Opaque isn't the opposite of clear. Opaque means see-through but it's cloudy. It's not out the question that LEGO would make a transparent set, just very unlikely. edit: wait, no. I was wrong. Got the wrong word. edit 2: wait, sort of right. It can mean either thing.

1) Also the alternate universes. This could exist in one of them, whether they confirm this or not. 2) No comment. 3) I've said this before, Bios are thrown together on the spot. Look at the original NINJAGO bios. Kai was a complete moron, Cole was team leader (HA!), Jay was a joke maker and inventor and Zane... never spoke. In the actual plot? Kai is a hotheaded risk-taker that leads the team. Cole is the overly muscly guy whose powers adapt to match the plot, and no one likes him. Jay hasn't made very many jokes since The Final Battle. Before that, he made very few anyway. He hasn't invented anything since Episode 5, even when they could have used him well with Dr Julien. He's also the biggest goof in the show, and it feels as if they're picking Jay for the stupid situations just for the sake of it. Lewa never got this, even with the whole mind control thing. And Zane? Zane talks. More often than he should. Analyzing the biographies to find out their real personalities is dumb. Because what they'll do is, they'll change them immediately in the plot or they'll make them incredibly goofy. Like Pohatu cowering in a hut's corner at night time, Onua sleep-fighting, Tahu forgetting what they're even looking for, etc. edit: also, what do mask powers have to do with anything? This is simplification so we don't have two thousand masks with 5,000 possible powers and variations. If it's an alternate dimension, what does it matter?

It doesn't split into two vehicles. That's a handle, around there will be a trigger and those gears will turn when the trigger is pressed. The gears will then turn the central turbine at the front of the machine firing the Star Wars blasters like a gatling gun.

I don't understand why people assume that Toa Nuva are gone. First of all, this is linked to the "Mataverse"/Generation 1/Ye Olde Timer universe, whatever your preference. Secondly, does anyone here actually know where the story is going? No one? Not even a troll? We have 2 confirmed years after 2015. Unless someone here is psychic (and in which case, I would avoid them and doubt anything they said) no one here knows where the plot is going to go. The Nuva still exist, and as long as nothing massive has happened and assuming these Toa are the originals, they're all Nuva. Except Tahu.

Except that Chima was portrayed with blue as the "good guy" color. And it's really getting on my nerves how there's so little variation between "leader, buff guy, goof and cold dude" in every group of sets. Red guy is arrogant and rushes into things, twice now blue has been the goof (staring you right in the eye NINJAGO, and I bet you're not even going to use this to make an emotional development of Jay with this, ARE YOU?). Buff manly dude started with Cole. The generally unlikable, buff guy whose magical strength seems to wax and wane every time the plot calls for it. Then we've got biomechanical-esque Ice character, although at least there's character differentiations. I wouldn't make anything much out of the personalities the 2015 versions have. NINJAGO and a bunch of other lines tacked them on as an afterthought. Jay was supposed to be an inventor, yet we've never seen him build anything after Episode 5, even when there are insane amounts of times when they could use him. Instead they bring back a dead guy to do the work for them (talk about a skeleton crew...). Cole was originally meant to be team leader, and the "striving for perfection" character, yet that went nowhere. And Zane... Zane's the only one with an actual reason for character change over time. Then again, they DID get rid of the whole "no talking" thing... like every character to debut with that trait. I just wouldn't think much of the personality changes Onua and the others have gotten. It will change in the first episode. And if it doesn't, they'll use them in overly cheesy ways.

Not incredibly creepy though. It doesn't have very much finesse, very dramatic. More "generic villain" really. Anyway, to test the concept I came up with earlier I attached a bunch of garbage to it and called it a MOC Stability test: EDIT: OH WHOOPS lol, should mention that I bent it myself on that last photo. It stands up perfectly fine. Just realized what the way it looked would imply XD

Pretty much well. Also, I really hope they make Makuta into a scary villain. That way if we get a movie, or a TV show, he can have an awesome theme like this (listen the WHOLE thing, or at least after 4:00): Great concept, but if we see an official piece like that, they should probably remove that axle at the end. I know it's part of the hand, but it looks far too out of place IMO.

So, list of things LEGO can improve on for BIONICLE 2016 (we should publish this on BZP, because we know LEGO will read it then ) - Waist Articulation (only if models can support the weight. Otherwise, no) - Different bone joints. It's been 5 years as of next year LEGO, that's frustrating for MOCing - Better Technic usage (a new upper torso and lower torso could improve the feasibility of this greatly), eg Onua's interior - Technic-esque parts. The shovels, axe heads and sword/shield are a big step up in this regard - Better shells. No more pieces with points jutting out in awkward places, which can kill a MOC often times. - Less reliance on the ball and cup system. It's ridiculous how much this can restrain building.
