  1. Everything negative I said was directed at either LEGO making poor decisions (seriously, even NINJAGO got better names for the Golden Weapons) or myself.
  2. ? I'm not really sure what you're talking about.
  3. My point still stands, all the same And guess what? You're absolutely right. But I'm not going to refer to Tahu's mask as its actual new name. Why? Because it's bland, boring and generic, it's a mouthful to say in comparison to "Hau", and pretty much well everyone on the forums/websites I frequent will know exactly what I'm referring to. Is what I just said an adequate excuse for being lazy and incorrect? No, but it's not going to change my mind, unfortunately. edit: Yay, 1,300th post.
  4. For a Tahu story-based line such as BIONICLE I wouldn't expect LEGO to make a deal out of a corrupted Hau. After all, poster-boy needs some way to prove to the kids that a certain element is the best and and only element that LEGO would ever care about in any generation of BIONICLE. *COUGH*
  5. Borg directly states in the very first episode of Rebooted that he's been disabled all his life. And in episodes 29, 30, 31, 34 and 35 he uses a normal wheelchair.
  6. But pterodactyls are dinosaurs too. None of the dinosaurs in JP/W have feathers anyway.
  7. LEGO has been including non-exclusive stuff in books for quite a while now, and Activity Books almost never get an exclusive item to go with it. edit: Oh, and I should also mention that they're increasingly calling non-exclusive items "exclusive".
  8. Bleh. Didn't like that one at all.
  9. Does anyone else think that at least one of the Toa is secretly making silly faces at everyone under his/her mask?
  10. Weird. I don't remember that.
  11. I don't have any memories of that event. I did vanish for a month (internet issues), and I know for certain that's when Zane's death was leaked. But anyway, the hinting with Nya is a bit awkward, it might have been just a coincidence (like basically anything in NINJAGO that actually lines up with pre-established canon). The motorbike is a hoverbike, not a water vehicle, it's probably just a Nya-fied replica of the Postman's bike
  12. I only finished one mod on my copy, and that was the addition of knees. You'll probably want the shortest CCBS bones for it. I'm not sure what else could be done, aside from fixing some more issues with posing (eg, making the wings rely on balljoints rather than hinges) and smoothing out the shape of the main body.
  13. Lolnope. We did get them on disk early (and with awesome box art, which you should remember ) EDIT: Uh oh (emphasis added)
  14. Just bought Tahu, PJ, PE and PF. Loved Tahu and PJ, didn't really like PF very much and the PE is such a garbage set (my opinion, you don't have to agree with me at all) it's lucky I'm not scrapping it now. Tahu's got some issues, but I absolutely adore Protector of Jungle.
  15. I'd also like to point out that the X-1 came out before BfNC did in most locations, Rebooted had a very, very staggered launch. Destructoid was released in Aus at the same time as BfNC did. And of course I got all 6 of the first wave in less than 3 weeks, breaking my "Most LEGO sets bought for X theme in a short amount of time".
  16. For a moment there I thought you meant DeeVee for some reason. My mind is really weird.
  17. Yeah, but when it comes to Gen 1 LEGO Batman gear the price is usually justified for the rarity. I prefer to buy MISB, because I have the guarantee that I'm not going to find old chewed up bricks, dog pee and a ball of boogers as freebies alongside it. Fortunately those cases are pretty rare, but I don't like to take the chance. I bought an MISB Tahu Nuva who now proudly sits atop my pile of trash (no correlation between him being there and the contents of that pile), your Jaller will be fine
  18. Glad to see another Aussie NINJAGO fan.
  19. Just an error. The Tournament had nothing to do with the Dark Island.
  20. Officially? Since when? Also, skin can go over armor. It doesn't necessarily have to be one or the other.
  21. MISB pricing is ridiculous. You'll get Pohatu Mata for maybe $15-$40, and meanwhile EF sets and old Batman minifigures skyrocket to ridiculous levels. I think I spotted a NINJAGO spinner from 2012 on Amazon for nearly $50 once.
  22. ^yeesh, that looks horrifyingly... uninspired. Seeing as the story-side has been explained, I can give you some details on the set itself. The play function is manually-operated, no mechanism. The phoenix itself is beautiful, but not undeserving of some modding. I would provide pics, but just yesterday mine hit the scrapyard upcoming MOC LEGO box.
  23. I thought it was 2008. After all, that was the year where everything broke, not just some lime-green sockets. And of course, LEGO had to be jerks and introduce every new part with a socket with the same issues
  24. He says so when he falls down the "Dream-pit".
  25. Who knows? Maybe it's capable of parthenogenesis (breeding by itself). Some sharks and reptiles are capable of this, so it's not entirely out of the question. Although I most certainly hope this doesn't happen, for the sake of the JP world and the story
