  1. It's funny everyone says that, because this year marks the most I've ever bought from the Star Wars line. The past aside, I was almost sure that four figures is a battle pack standard (excluding droids), so it's nice to see that it's pretty much confirmed. I'm interested in seeing what will be the "Bounty Hunter Gunship" and the Naboo set's contents. I hope the Battle of Naboo set includes Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon as I don't own them. Oh, and those "Phase 1.5" clones look pretty cool. I don't follow the Clone Wars series much, so I haven't seen them before. Regardless of what clones do appear (so long as some are new), I'm hoping to get more Phase 2 clones. I only have four from the battle pack...
  2. I agree. Personally, I'm not too sure about colours of the pieces, just as long as they do appear... I do like, however, the ghost shroud (I don't own one), most of the minifig accessories, scenery elements and baseplates. That's quite broad though, but as I said, I don't mind much about the colours in most cases.
  3. I hope that's the case. Oh, so there is an Imperial V-Wing. I hope it comes with a (full) astromech figure. I sort of collect them, and personally I dislike just having their heads...
  4. Wow. This is a really creative (and time consuming) activity. I'll try it the next time I get a small set... I wonder if it's possible to apply stickers, or open the small bags inside some of the larger bags?
  5. Hmm. Looks interesting, but I would prefer a baseplate. An Atlantis-themed version would be nice, too...
  6. Good point. I don't know whether I should be relieved or be terrified. Oh, and I just noticed that it's an Imperial V-Wing? Hopefully it will come with an interesting minifig, then...
  7. Wow. If those are real sets, I will very likely get all of the sets on the list. I missed the last V-Wing (although I looked quite hard), and I need way more battle packs. Comparing prices to each other, it seems that the Naboo set might be a bit like that "Echo Base" set, which is good, because it should be affordable. Luckily, there don't seem to be too many large sets in the first wave, as my budget is going to take quite a hit after the current line of Star Wars is released here...
  8. *Checks history* I see. What confuses me is that assuming that the theme does exist, would they have plans for a movie so quickly? In fact, would they release a movie at all? Perhaps it's going to be like one of those short films like that Atlantis one done a while back. That would be a lot more realistic...
  9. Indeed, but I mainly want Craniac from it, so I figured it wouldn't be that worth it. It's also a bit overpriced here. Either way, Star Wars this year is going to seriously deplete my budget, so I'm limiting sets now.
  10. I don't remember seeing it out here, either. It could have been a promotion (like I previously said about the second Bionicle movie).
  11. This is ironic, as the last post I made on Eurobricks was actually about Wikipedia not being too reliable. Still, it may be real, but I'm not too sure... Now I'm almost certain it's going to be some sort of multicoloured Power Rangers-like thing. Which is still fine by my standards.
  12. Agreed, and agreed again. Although I do admit I did watch one movie (the second Bionicle movie) in a special screening after I won a competition, which was a nice experience, but otherwise they are only to DVD. The thing about Wikipedia is that it can be edited by anyone (including people with weird theories, as can be seen from that quote). It's therefore not completely reliable for any topic, not just for Lego-related things.
  13. I've just found out that this set has a pretty good price ($40!), so I may buy it for the microfigs. The gold scorpion is nice, too. I don't own one, so it would be nice to get it.
  14. Interesting. This is one of my most wanted sets from the line. A great assortment of pieces, too. Hmm, a hobo... Yes, very interesting. I didn't think of using the piece that way. It's a shame I don't own a caveman or a Hagrid... Oh, and nice spares.
  15. I've only stumbled across this recently. I haven't heard of the new ninja theme, but I don't really care. I don't own a single ninja set (not even a minifigure!) anyway, so it's great news to me.
  16. Ha, funny. I haven't been too involved in Power Miners lately, but I accidentally stumbled across the Wikipedia article. I don't think it's confirmed that the theme will continue, but I'd love it to. That prompted a laugh from me. Exactly who wrote that? I'd love ice monsters (as mentioned quite a few pages back), but it's fairly absurd. I wish I was proven wrong though. And a movie? I never heard of any rumours about that. I don't really see the point of adding this to a reference website if they explicitly say that it's just a rumour...
  17. Excluding the fact that I don't really like custom pieces in general, I still think the official version is better. The pieces are more compatible (especially the head), and I like the colour of the minifig better (regardless of the character's actual colour).
  18. We do? Yeah, it's been puzzling me a bit that it seems that Lego Universe might not come out in Australia. It doesn't really matter to me personally, as I'm not going to get it, but it's quite odd.
  19. That's a good use of Lotso's arms that I haven't actually thought about. It's a shame that the angle is needed to create the illusion, but it's a good idea. Edit: one thing that might improve the look is perhaps to have a bulge in the middle. The bed looks a bit flat.
  20. I actually haven't seen that image before. I wish it were released as a separate set. Then again, if the actual set was released as that, I'm not sure if I would prefer it. The stuff in the back is nice, but the disappearance of the horse (and also the normal Dastan) isn't really great...
  21. While I love Clone Troopers, I'd say my favourite out of those would have to be C3PO. The others are quite neat too.
  22. Wow, that was quite fast... Well, if I find this set (hopefully an exclusive to Target, or something accessible) I will definitely get it. I love the minifigs, and the ship is okay. The ship is actually bigger than I expected, and contains a good number of seats.
  23. I faced a hard decision the other day when the Space Police HQ set was on special for $100. I'm going to skip the set altogether just to save money, which is a shame because I love Craniac. I did get the Lunar Limo though, and couldn't resist taking all the gold pieces out. It still looks okay minus the golden engine...
  24. Well, I found the Pizza Planet Truck set today (though not at Target). I'm not completely happy with the segmented windscreen at the front (I don't think there is a piece which is eight studs wide for that), and the missing part at the back. I may eventually get around to fixing the hole, though. I'd rather sacrifice the ability to fit Rex in than have a hole in the back.
  25. Now that I can see the scale clearer, this is going to be too expensive for my budget. A pity, as I don't own a single AT-AT and probably never will...
