  1. Gasp! Pictures! Pictures! Thanks a lot for this. Yeah, I didn't expect a commando, but as long as it's a new print or mould, that's fine by me. All three types are new and invaluable to me. The Mandalorians are equally great. I'll be sure to get these as soon as I see them! Yay, I was right about the droid carrier, the V-Wing being the recoloured black/grey one and the inclusion of a full astromech in the V-Wing. Yes, I've only just seen these images today. I'm going to go and hyperventilate now.
  2. A commando? Hmm. That would be great. I still doubt that they would be there, but I'll probably go and buy two of each of the battlepacks regardless. I'd love a full squad of four, but that will prove to be very costly so I might start with just two. As for the V-Wing, it seems that there will be a full astromech as the name is given...
  3. Ooh... No. Definitely not. While I'd immensely want something like that, at the same time I feel strongly against that. Look at what happened to the collectable minifigures released this year. They would sell out as soon as they got to shelves (and seeing how it's Star Wars, I'd imagine them to sell twice as fast). I'd rather have inflated battle packs than those. While I'm on the topic of battle packs, according to the list we'll get "specialised" clones. I wonder what that means? New moulds, or new printing maybe? The word specialised gives me the impression that there may not be any regular clones in the set, and perhaps they would all be completely new.
  4. I actually thought the blue was nice, and I would have liked more of it. Still, I can see how it might not be so good in MOCs. Anyway, the lack of articulation is strange, as is using the pistons for the front of the legs. The small thing on the box is a bit strange too (I believe it says something like "from the makers of Bionicle". Who would have guessed? )
  5. Wow, that's great! Though I do think that it's a bit of a shame that some pieces aren't official, but I don't think it would be quite the same without them.
  6. Clone commandos are featured in the Clone Wars? Ooh. This increases the possibility of getting commandos! And of course, judging from my name and avatar, that's obviously a good thing. Somehow I get the impression that the floodgates will open soon, with all the blurry images.
  7. Hmm, okay. That fits my criteria somewhat. I don't really mind if it's not too long, though.
  8. Oh, that's brilliant! I was right about the V-wing. Yay. I hope it includes a full astromech. The clone battlepack apparently contains four specialised troopers. Does that mean they're all different? The Bounty Hunter Gunship and the T-6 are suddenly very good sets to me. I don't own any of the minifigs listed (not even Obi-Wan or Anakin). Finally, the Naboo set has left us none the wiser. It seems that Klaus-Dieter has indeed told the truth about these sets. Quick edit: I've just noticed that on the site they're listed as rumours. My joy is diminishing...
  9. Actually, disregard my previous post... I would definitely love to see the guardian minifig in a cheaper set. I figured that $160 for the minifigs and treasure keys wasn't worth it. Does the squid warrior return? I don't (and won't) own the sets the squid warrior comes in, so I'd like to see more of those... Oh, and do any more treasure keys appear? I want a complete collection.
  10. Hmm. That actually might make it more likely to be in the set. After all, it's been a few years since the MTT, and there have been quite a few remakes recently. Of course, if the set is based on the Clone Wars, then I have no idea. Seeing as I don't own the vehicle, I wouldn't mind if the transport was this. As for the rack being off-scale, the transport itself would be if it was in the set due to its "large battlepack" size.
  11. Yes, I agree. It's a bit annoying, unless you don't own them or if they are good for making armies with, like clones, stormtroopers... Either way, as with pretty much every set next year, these are most likely preliminary images. They could change things or add things here and there (which I hope means a chance at more minifigs). There's still one puzzling thing about the Naboo set. What is the droid carrier? I think it might be this: It fits the description somewhat. These were seen in the invasion of Naboo, and from what Klaus-Dieter said by it being bigger, I'm guessing that he meant it was larger than the one in the droid battlepack. He also says that there is a minimum of four droids. This might be possible if the vehicle was at an angle, so the remaining droids on board were obscured... I don't know. That's what I think it might be. Obviously, if it is this, then it will be a lot smaller to fit into the set.
  12. Oh, good. Thanks for that! I might actually be able to buy it. If those prices are close to Australian dollars, I'll probably get the cheapest three sets. Oh, by the way, what does the shuttle look like? Is it like the recently released Shuttle Adventure's one?
  13. Indeed. I like making theories and seeing if they turn out to be true... Yes, there probably are some more sets for the first wave. However, I don't watch the Clone Wars (mainly because I don't have pay TV) so I don't know what to expect. More clones and medium-sized ships, that's what I want...
  14. Um... I'm pretty sure there was a time lapse in that scene... Either way, it shouldn't take that long to repaint a fleet of ships. Personally, I'd rather see that black V-Wing shown a few pages ago. I prefer the colour scheme, and it would fit in well with the rest of my small Imperial ship collection.
  15. I couldn't see any V-Wings at the start. I didn't see any V-Wings at Mustafar either, but when Darth Vader is being flown in the shuttle from Mustafar, there are some V-Wings accompanying it, and you can clearly see they still have the red colour scheme. However, at the end, with the grey Venators are some grey V-Wings. I'm almost certain that the V-Wings that are released are these (i.e. grey, or maybe some other design). I actually missed lots of details, such as the appearance of Tantive 4 and Palpatine's Shuttle (I can't believe I didn't recognise the ship!). I haven't watched the movie closely for years, anyway.
  16. What do you mean by "feature"? If it's anything like collectible minifigures, I'm probably not interested. It's not just availability, I heard that collectible minifigures are around $3.75 here!
  17. Well, I'd like to see (official, thanks) weaponry in sets. I'm not sure how it would fit in city sets, though. I'd much rather have some separate military theme to fill that role. It wouldn't work if the police suddenly got rocket launchers to deal with robberies (which aren't even armed robberies, anyway).
  18. Oh, you've got to be kidding... I haven't even found series 1 yet... this is quite ridiculous. Here's hoping that it's at least going to have more production.
  19. Space... hmm. Not sure what to think here. Might get a few sets here and there, but it doesn't have the alien element to it that really appeals me. Still, I'll have to see. If it includes nice minifigs, I may buy some. Is the space shuttle big? I may get it, depending on its size...
  20. Ha, that's a bit broad. All vehicles in Atlantis are pretty much red. Hmm, ancient architecture? I might get the small set. I hope there are more minifigures... One thing I don't really hope for is to see the guardian minifig in the portal set featured in a smaller set. It would devalue buying the set, which I plan on doing if I have enough.
  21. Oh no. So these are in the style of collectible minifigs? That's not good... I haven't even seen a single box around here. Either way, If it does turn out like that, I hope they'll at least make them more widespread. I would rather have sets, though.
  22. Developments! The Naboo set wasn't as intriguing as I first thought. Nice to have Gungans, at least. No Kaduu or Droidekas, though? That's too bad... But the Halo and the T6 Shuttle are confirmed? That's good. They're already growing on me.
  23. Wait, is that true? Then Star Wars isn't ending next year? I'm quite relieved to hear that, but that means maybe I've gone a little too far with my obsessive set hoarding... Already? Hmm... True, but you've sort of just contradicted yourself there. If the name didn't mean anything in particular as after the end the V-Wings were Imperial, then why would the name contain that? I'm almost certain that the new V-Wing will be different from the other V-wing. Whether it be colour scheme or complete new look, if they bothered to include Imperial in the name then it should have some sort of importance. Edit: I'm a bit hypocritical there, I think. The "Echo Base" released last year clearly wasn't actually Echo Base. Then again, people might get confused by the addition of Imperial to the name if it looked exactly the same as it used to...
  24. Wow, that looks great. I have no idea if it's like the movie counterpart, but it looks good.
  25. Great! It has a good ruined feel to it. Nice that you have an interior, though I think it's a bit too colourful. The building might have been darker too, but I'm not sure.
