  1. Oops. It must be that, because I've got about 70 frames. I could significantly shorten it, though. I'll try editing it right now...
  2. Yay, I think mine works. Okay, actually, it doesn't. The original was animated, but I'll replace it with this one because the animation doesn't work in my avatar.
  3. I see. Well, I'm not around that area, but thanks anyway. Thanks for the comments. I still can't upload the rest of the pictures, for some reason.
  4. Yeah, but it was based off "concepts" courtesy of Milargo. I still haven't found the set, by the way. There are a few things I'd improve next time, mainly the shape. The handlebars were last-minute. Improvisation is right.
  5. Well, not exactly. It's not perfect, but it's good enough, I guess... I just made a new topic here. First topic and first MOC/mod, too.
  6. Just a modification to the jeep thing in the Toy Story army car. This is based off an image Milargo posted in the Ninjago topic here. I thought it was interesting and decided to make it for myself, though I'll probably dismantle it in a few days, because I'm not really a MOCer. Because of that, I also don't have much to work with so I just got random parts from sets. Note: the photos here have been Photoshopped to increase brightness and sharpness. The colours have probably been slightly modified as well. This is the inspiration picture: The MOC/mod: Front view. Top view. Yes, the "seat" is a bit strange. It can be angled. Note: there are three images which I can't seem to upload, showing the back and the side view, with an additional picture. I'll update this post with the images once I get them to work. Comments welcome, though bear in mind that it took a whole morning just to find the pieces. Oh noes, images still not uploading. I'll update once they do.
  7. Perhaps, but seeing as it is a dragon, I'm guessing there's a fairly large/strong vehicle. Seeing how strange this line is, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a white and purple skeleton tank or something along those lines. It seems more likely to be a land vehicle to me. I'll try to make it, but I hardly MOC and it may not look good. I'll post an image later if I do make it. Realistically, though, I'm guessing the ATV will again be futuristic, and will probably feature white with another colour.
  8. The site does seem to be off for now. It's possible the site would have stayed up for longer had we not found it. Oh, and that mummy is nice. I hope that the headdresses will have printing like that in the sets. The blue and gold ones will benefit greatly with a bit of the other colour.
  9. Oh, wait, I didn't think it was a mistake. That's what I was confused about. That might be interesting too depending on size and minifigs. At this rate, it looks like I will get the ice dragon, so the earth dragon might be a good counterpart. I think why it says "defending" is because dragons appear to be the allies of ninjas in this theme. I don't really see how they need to be defended, though, unless there's some large enemy vehicle attacking it.
  10. What does "terrain vehicle in 2506 with a skull" mean? And what was 2506 again? Anyway, the only thing that really interests me is the ATV. I don't know what "smithy" is, though I can guess that it's probably some armory or something. The others sound large. I'll reserve judgement until I see the minifigs or the actual sets themselves.
  11. And looking at a single teaser picture for trying to confirm those rumours. Speaking of which, I done a bit of Photoshop with that image today in my spare time. The result seems to make it a bit clearer (personally), and I now see how the lower set is most likely a Geonosian starfighter. Previously, I just guessed that because of the blurred colours, but now I can sort of see it. If it is actually coming out, I'm quite content with that. It fits in with my Republic Commando obsession, and would be a good enemy for my clones. At the end of all this, the guy that posted the photos may have to face a few consequences, though. Whoops, sorry about that. Still, we're all supposedly human, and naturally we would have tried to figure out what those blurs were.
  12. I think I may have found out what some of the minifigs are! Yoda and an orange clone (probably visorless Cody) can be seen, but further back, I see some things. There's a black shape near the paper which looks a bit like Darth Maul to me. Above is some brown figure, perhaps a Jawa. On top of that, though, I'm almost certain that's Luke. Well, as we all know, we only see what we want to, so these are relative to lists we've got. Still, this seems to hint at Clone Wars sets, because I don't know why else Yoda and Cody would be there. I wonder if the brown set is a Geonosian starfighter?
  13. I was thinking that as well. Now I'm just trying to figure out what the sets and minifigs on the table are. One thing though... he mentioned at least one Original Trilogy set. I don't believe there are any in the first wave (does the Imperial V-Wing count?). It's possible one of these recent lists could have grains of truth in them. Excitement.
  14. Well, I don't know. There seems to be a lot of mixed feelings in regards to the new list. I actually rather like it. I missed out a lot of early Star Wars sets, and I don't see what's so bad about sets like the Sith Infiltrator. This is obviously because I don't own them, but still, they can't be that bad? Actually, I don't mind them at all. I'm even interested in the podracers, more because they're classic vehicles than for the vehicles themselves. The Geonosis stuff would be nice to put my growing clone army against, too. To summarise, I don't have any issues with these sets if they are real. However, I hope this isn't the death of the Clone Wars, because I still need more clones.
  15. This new list (or origin of it) seems to be more realistic because of the other sets listed that are known to come out. I see a few sets I haven't heard of, interesting... Using a very basic translation, it seems that the Endor and Geonosis are both the larger battle packs that we're getting used to seeing. That's fairly good, I guess. So long as there are Ewoks, scout troopers, Endor rebels, Geonosians and clone troopers, I'm happy. Some of the dates must have been mistaken though. Both the Geonosis set and the Sith Infiltrator are listed as January. While I'd really like to get both (particularly the Sith Infiltrator, no matter how bad it really is), it's probably a mistake. Hmm, suddenly the focus seems to be on the first two movies. That's good, but I need more Clone Wars and Original Trilogy sets.
  16. If you haven't noticed from previous pages, there aren't such a diverse range of colours in the actual sets... yet. Hopefully there will be more crazy colours, as the theme is meant to be anyway. But yeah, there aren't any violet or orange ninjas. As for the site, I believe the minifig guy shown is who we're supposed to get in that training set, the one that includes the white ninja and the skeleton. I can't decide whether I want the dragon or that set for the white ninja, but now I might go for the latter if it is any cheaper.
  17. Oops, how obvious was it? Thanks for the links. The last seems the best to me (for completely unobvious reasons), but that would also probably render it as being out of my price range. Still, there's no concrete evidence to back up these claims, so they are likely fake. As for the new list, supposedly from a Dutch forum, it occurred to me that he might have been reading a wishlist forum. It definitely sounds like there are too many minifigs in there. The ones I'm personally interested in (and that seem the most realistic of them) are the Death Watch Hideout, Toydarian Negotiations and Lars Moisture Farm sets. These seem to be the most realistic of the list. Of course, I'm interested in anything involving clones or stormtroopers, as well as original trilogy sets as I'm rather lacking in those. One last obvious criticism is the amount of detail there is regarding minifigures in the sets. Normally there would be a few blurry images and some unrecognisable shapes, but here there's way too much detail on minifigs, as well as too many in the first place.
  18. Agreed. It took me a while to realise that there are only two battle packs per year, which disappointed me. The whole Endor/Geonosis thing seems highly unlikely. Still, this could be an exception. I would like to have at least a pair of scout troopers, even after getting ARFs. The Geonosis stuff might be good if there are clones involved, particularly the current Clone Wars types. I'm not sure what the Republic Frigate is, but it sounds as if it may include clones. Either way, whatever we get, I just hope to see more clones.
  19. Well, the Matoran alphabet from Bionicle and the alien language from Mars Mission come to mind... Also, some hieroglyphs have a resemblance to letters. For example, on the cover of the journal thing, the first line is easily identifiable as "pharaohs" (there's no apostrophe, but anyway). Some of the rest are a bit obscure. It was probably to bring more of an original feel to it, with most being depictions of pieces or minifigs. Anyway, interesting to see confirmation and stuff with the site being brought online.
  20. I thought the arms were both orange? Either way, if the arms were the same, it's good. As for the heads, I'm not that bothered about Vos (though a new face would be good), but Saesee's must be changed.
  21. Hmm. Still doesn't really clarify the minifigs and minifig designs which change in some sets, but okay. As for the Mandalorians not all having jetpacks, that doesn't really matter as I'm getting two battle packs.
  22. Well, it's a shame that the Mandalorians are all the same, but oh well. At least I have Boba. That info left us none the wiser except for some minor details, but it pretty much confirms that the final products are almost identical to the prelims. A few questions though: -Did they fix the arms on the bomb squad troopers? -Is that insectoid helmet on a minifig seen in an early prelim of the Halo still there? I remember there was something a while back about the helmet actually belonging to a different character, but regardless I still rather like it. -Exactly what torsos are in the Naboo set? It keeps changing. Is that shield transparent, like in one picture? If you can answer those, I'd be grateful. If not, that doesn't really matter. We'll find out in a few months.
  23. The starfighter reminds me a bit of Ahsoka's starfighter (which I own), as they're both limited edition (supposedly), both contain extra droids and both have a similar function (what I'm guessing is hidden flick-fire missiles). They likely included the extra droids and vehicles because they were intending to release it as an exclusive set, like Ahsoka's. So long as I actually find it (somehow, I managed to buy Ahsoka's starfighter outside of the exclusive retailer, which isn't available in my area), I don't mind. As for getting R2-D2, I want a new version as I only own the old head print. One is enough, though, and I'll only complain after I finally do get one.
  24. Of course, then there are the minifigs. But then you could always buy them on Bricklink, right? Although we've seen the starfighter frequently with only minor differences and although it has a fairly plain colour scheme, I'm still happy with it. The colour scheme can't be helped if it's official, so it doesn't matter much to me. Plus, we get a new astromech! It does appear to be R8-B7 after comparing images. Combined with the Imperial V-Wing, I'll have seven astromechs altogether.
  25. Although I do like the starfighter, I would prefer if it had a better colour scheme. Of course, this isn't the set's problem. I just don't really like the colour, that's all... I wonder if we'll get R8-B7 with the set? Apparently it pilots the starfighter. If we did, the astromech would have a better colour scheme than the starfighter itself, in my opinion.
