  1. Wow, thanks for that link! Personally, I'm more interested in the information about other themes than the City information, but still... The "police minifigs collection" puzzles me. I would buy it if it came out, providing it sticks to its description, but that sounds awfully similar to a City-themed battle pack. I don't mind that, actually.
  2. Hard to find now? I haven't seen it, although I really want it. The same's for the Landspeeder. This is just a minor complaint that I've had for some while, but exactly how will the machine gun in the Mandalorian battle pack stand up? From the looks of it, it's only got two antennae for legs and no base. That means minifigs will need to hold it instead of having a free-standing gun...
  3. Wow, that is very strange. Blasphemous, you could say. I see now, so what they lost was using the brick as a trademark instead of the actual product itself. That clarifies it a bit. In any case, whether they do eventually get a trademark or not, I don't think it will influence much. That's a bit unfortunate, as a price lowering would be very welcome here.
  4. Well, I'm not too annoyed if the T6 if it doesn't have a double-sided wing, because I didn't actually know it could rotate like that canon-wise, and I prefer the landing mode anyway. But yeah, the fin is extremely irritating if, for example, you want to take a photo of it facing a particular way and the bottom of the plates are showing.
  5. Hmm, I don't know. Although I don't really like customs and much more so for clone brands, I'm not sure if it matters that much. Certainly, if there were no clone brands, licenses given to others such as Mega Bloks (grr, Halo Wars license!) could potentially be taken by Lego. There may be more price competitiveness due to the clone brands staying. I hope the quality and things won't be compromised to make up for this, though.
  6. Hmm. That could be good news or bad news, depending on exactly how large "big" is. Hopefully nothing exceeding the $150 range again, like the Slave 1. Yeah. Contradicting that though, there are still some issues on the Halo and the T6 for me. The Halo still looks like it has an oversized cockpit and a thin body. I doubt that will be fixed this far in, though. Also, with the T6, I hope that both sides of the wing are identical. I recently got Palpatine's Shuttle, and I was disappointed to see that one side of the top wing shows the bottom of the plates while the other shows the studs. There might not have been a better way to make the wing, but I hope that this is fixed somewhat in the T6. And quick edit, this is my 400th post. Just felt like stating that.
  7. Although I'm building up a fairly large (for my standards) Hoth collection, I'd say that it is about time to move on to some other theme. A few more Hoth sets here and there may be okay, but that's it for me. We seem to be going back to the Clone Wars now, and if there are more Clone Troopers/Mandalorians that's great. Hmm. If there were more than eight minifigs, or contained some decent things, then $50 would sound good. I haven't seen an advent calendar around here, though, so I don't know...
  8. I'm obviously a bit new to this as I was almost certain that the minifig at Comic Con was a custom and was probably just a joke or something. I'm not sure how I would welcome a Pirates of the Caribbean theme as I know next to nothing about the movies themselves. There are mutated fish things or something though? That would definitely be welcome, and would help expand my current Atlantis collection. Is there any definite proof that this is real, though? Because if we do get to see weird mutants than I would most certainly like to get some.
  9. Yeah, I don't mind too much about the jet packs. I also thought that the thing in the background is a turret of some sort. Again it eludes me because of the smudge! Seeing no markings on the torso of the Mandalorian on the speeder is good for me, because that would indicate that perhaps it would be different to the others. Something else about that Mandalorian... did anyone notice that he has black hands, while the others have grey hands? That might be significant... Quick edit: I also notice the hip part is black, while the others are grey. Then again, this isn't reflected in the minifigs list where the Mandalorian has grey hands and black hips. I'm not sure if this is significant, but it could be... Also, where did those new pistols go? (Yes, I know, prelims...)
  10. Great! I like the landforms and especially the trees. The dark green one on the left is done well.
  11. Great! Not so sure if it can be called UCS, but anyway... It seems a little weak at some points, though, mainly at the joints linking the arms and legs. Maybe if they were improved it would be sturdier overall.
  12. This isn't quite the first time I'll ever buy more than one of the same set, because earlier this year I had bought another Snowtrooper battle pack. I agree that it's worth buying two of, though. Maybe even three? As for the jetpack issue, that doesn't matter that much to me any more. I'm still more focused on the lack of variation in the Mandalorians.
  13. Amazing. The scale and the detail (especially on the top!) is very impressive. I'm not too familiar with the ship itself, so I'm not entirely sure if this is how it looks, but it still looks great.
  14. Great! Some brick-built Kirby characters would improve this even further.
  15. This looks good with lights, although those are technically custom pieces, aren't they? Either way, great.
  16. Hmm, I didn't know the head was double-sided. Interesting. I wished the second face on Lucius was a bit larger (i.e. covering the whole part of the face, instead of a mask-like size). I also think the hair sits a bit high, too. That's just my opinion, anyway.
  17. Although I do mind the accuracy issue too, I don't mind the variation in helmets. In fact, I'd prefer it if it did stay that way, because it would have more variety. I don't mind the fact that the white part isn't very diamond-like, either. I can't say the same about the arms, though. That is starting to bug me more and more. One thing I might do after I've got a few of these Clones is swap out the arms and legs for normal white ones to add more variety. Unfortunately, It's not that I can get any... Quick edit: by that, I mean I couldn't get any white legs and arms because I'm not willing to take apart an innocent Clone Trooper.
  18. Wow, great! I really like some of the details like the mini version of the truck, wings as spoilers and the teeth on Rex's car. Having now owned all of the minifigures, I should really get around to doing something like this, except I don't have many pieces to work with.
  19. Ah, I see! Observant, but if you zoom in to the image you can see more of that same red to the right of the head at the bottom. Now I'm really confused.

    Dalek

Ooh, nice! Some parts are a little off-scale, like the head part, but it still retains the general feel and shape of a Dalek. And yeah, it would be really great with the mutant inside. It might be a bit hard to make, though.
  21. After finally looking at a picture of the Death Watch to understand what these minifigs are supposed to represent, I'm a little disappointed. The grey on their armour and helmets are supposed to be sand green, it seems. While I don't own a Jango Fett and would like to, I would much prefer to have some slightly more colourful Mandalorians. Also, I've noticed that it would be fairly easy to include Pre Vizsla in the battle pack. A slight colour change. some printing on the helmet and maybe even a cape, and that would be good enough. With the recent addition of specific characters in battle packs, I think this may be a possibility. As for another Slave 1 (not again! My wallet's empty enough after getting the current one!), I doubt there will be one released for some time. The colours might just be placeholders, where they used Jango's colours to save some time. I hope this is the case.
  22. I would like a variety of different colours regardless of if they actually are canon. Maybe a green, a red... Non-canon minifigures have been done before. There were Swamp Troopers in one set which were basically Phase 2 Clones with green markings, which I'm pretty sure are not in any official sources. Really, though, even a tiny marking variation would be welcome. I'd much prefer different colours, but any sort of variation is good enough for me. I expect to get at least two of the Mandalorian battle pack.
  23. I count nine or ten battle droids! I'm pretty sure it's not just wishful thinking either. There seem to be four standard droids on the rack and two of those droids with blue bodies. Looking under the confidential watermark, though, I'm pretty sure I can spot another three battle droids. One seems to be directly behind the pilot, and the other two are on the left side of the carrier. Behind the one which is behind the pilot, I think there may be a tenth, but I'm not sure. I was thinking that it might have been interchangeable as well. One thing's for sure, though, it's definitely larger than the version in the MTT. As for the colour, I don't mind too much but it does deviate quite a bit from the Trade Federation brown I'm used to. On your other point with jetpacks, the Mandalorian on the minifig list is not wearing a jetpack (I don't really see how the head is higher, either). On the battle pack, I think the Mandalorian on the speeder thing has a jetpack because I think I can see something behind his back. On a separate topic now, I didn't know the T-6 Shuttle could switch wing modes like that. I must be severely behind on my Clone Wars knowledge. Unfortunately, due to its large wingspan, I get the impression that it will be rather inflated. The Halo seems a bit short, and the shade of green isn't exactly right. The top part of the cockpit could also do with some more green. Finally, the V-Wing is pretty good. Although I might prefer a Republic version, this is good too. I like especially how there's a full Astromech droid instead of just the head, as with last time. This may mean that the ship is a bit larger (or at least thicker).

    Death Pod

Great! Nice colour scheme and decals. Those decals look familiar though...
  25. Does the assassin droid have printing, or a sticker? Looks like there are some orange eyes on the top part. I can also see that there are three parts to the Mandalorian battle pack. There's a turret, a speeder thing, and a strange boxy thing in the back which might be another turret (but a different type). Edit: oops! Forgot that these are prelims. And yes, I just realised that one of the arms isn't actually orange. I didn't really notice it from the image, but if I was looking closely I would easily notice that. I've just noticed the helmet printing difference, too! I didn't catch either the first time around. Although the arms are a bit of a problem, the helmet differences are good for me. It makes them more unique.
