Well, the main point of this set for me are the minifigs and Snowspeeder (still haven't got one yet!). The cave could be better, but still is very useful.
-
Interesting. I won't get this, but it looks like a great model for displaying. I wonder if it has an interior?
-
Hmm, nice. The pizzas are a nice bonus (I'm glad they decided to keep that amount of pizzas), as are the minifigs. I didn't expect Rex's tail to be connected that way, though. There may be some potential for the tail to be used elsewhere.

Oh no, the portal doesn't come with a manta warrior! Time to stock up. Still haven't been able to find the manta impulse. I think I was right quite a few pages back that impulses other than city impulses are scarce around here.
-
Great! Nice colour scheme, too. It gives it a more classic feel.
-
Great. The AT-ST's details are good, and the environment looks realistic.
-
Interesting. I think more livestock, weapons, accessories and globes are good ideas. On the last page, though, one of the suggested items to return was the old skeleton. If I'm not wrong, isn't the older skeleton in some sets?
-
Whoops, forgot to end it. I meant I'm considering whether to put it on or not. I'm not exactly against stickers altogether, but to have a sticker for the face of a minifig isn't good. Oh, that's right, it was a red bandana. It looks more orange in the picture, though,

A Target exclusive? Hmm, I should be able to find and buy it. However... I haven't even found a single Prince of Persia set yet, and people are already getting summer sets! I think Australia is falling behind in getting sets more than before.

Painted? Perhaps it's a prelim image or alternate packaging. Well, no minifigures at all at my Toys R Us. I hope, though, that they will be available elsewhere, because I can't go to Toys R Us very often. -
I went to Toys R Us today, and I didn't find the swamp speeder or Luke's landspeeder. I've looked everywhere. Has anyone in Australia found them yet? However, it wasn't in vain, as I picked up the X-wing set from 2006 that I missed. They had tons of stock, for some reason.

Finally an image. One of the minifigs seems to have an orange-coloured thing on its head (or as part of its head). I really hope this will be released in Australia. I haven't found either the swamp speeder or Luke's landspeeder, and I'm getting the feeling that they may not be available here. If I do get it, I may buy the Separatist shuttle to go with it.

Oh dear, the droid is rather horrible in its use of a sticker. Normally, I put stickers on, but in this case I'm considering putting it on the droid. Grievous's arms are still a bit of a problem for me, too.

I really like those, I wish they were impulses. Argh, I hate promos. I can never get any.

Just need to know, those barcodes are the same as the Australian versions, right? In other words, are the codes off the same packaging? I may go to Toys R Us tomorrow, and it's be good to know in advance. -

Since the barcodes are different for each type, it should say which type is inside. That said, I can't use any software because I don't have an Iphone and my Ipod isn't compatible. Will the barcodes posted earlier work for the Australian versions of the packaging? I'll have to resort to that list, it seems... -
Review - 8096 Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle

This is all happening very fast! Not much of an interior, but nice feature. The medical droid seems to have a fixed head. The clone pilot is still a minute disappointment (I want all my clones to have a black head underneath). -
Hmm, I may have underestimated the size of the truck. It's most likely around $40-$50 here. May seems a bit early to me, but it's probably going to be later here.
-
Great! Different shade of brown than the original, though. I'm not sure which one's better.
-
Oh, I see. The strangely-coloured Clone trooper was a hole in the cover! I couldn't tell from the image on my Ipod. If it's the German book, maybe it's a German variant. Or maybe there's a second book, which we hadn't known about. The top part of the book reminds me of the tops of the new boxes (the ones that aren't released yet).

So the packaging is quite rigid, and it's likely to be at the front of the store. Assuming I can find them, it sounds like choosing them isn't much of an option. I do remember back when they sold mask packs (never did get enough!) that they weren't at the front. Still, they might have gotten paranoid... If people have started finding them already, I may go to Toys R Us soon. If they don't have any, they should at least have a set I'm looking for. I also hope they'll be available at ordinary retail stores (hopefully later than they appear at Toys R Us). -
But I like "common details"! I'm still deciding if I should get the base. The "common details" and recoloured Skull twin are nice, but I don't know if that can justify the price. I'm not a big fan of bases, and the only one I own is the Lavatraz set (if it can be considered one). It was on special, anyway.

I wonder when these will be released in Australia? And I hope they won't only be available from Toys R Us, I've had a history of missing out sets from there... I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that there will be two variations of the packaging depending on the area or something... so I'm not totally sure that the list will be too handy. -
LEGO Universe pre-order starts the 14th of May

I saw that some time ago. I probably won't be getting it, but the minifig that comes with it is nice. -
I'm not familiar with the actual building, but it looks fine to me. I don't know if it was intended, but it's quite colourful (in a good way).
