  1. Wow! That's huge, and it's also fairly accurate, from my point of view. Great work! The wheels are quite nice. Interesting use of minifig stands there, it makes it look treaded. If it had motors inside that worked, that would be even better.
  2. That's a terribly odd and silly MOC. Great work! There are some other characters that could have been included (Twitch would be nice), but it still works perfectly.
  3. Actually, that reminds me. Will the QAR actually have that trans-orange skeleton torso? I really hope this means that transparent figures (of any kind) will become a reality in the future. I know it's been stated multiple times that transparent figures would be loose or unstable, but we've had transparent heads and now a transparent torso (if skeleton torsos count).
  4. Oh, really? Those were changed because of complaints? We should complain more often.
  5. That was my first thought, with the second giveaway being the background. And wait, a Cloud Car which is forty centimetres wide?
  6. Thanks, but unfortunately my local TRU is having renovations and won't be open for a while. I won't be able to get there by tomorrow either way.
  7. Yeah, they would be proper sets with some modification, but still not that good. I haven't seen it yet (or even a mention). I hope that doesn't mean the theme's excluded.
  8. The wooden Captain Jack is quite nice. I think that torso's new. If only those polybag sets were available here!
  9. Yeah, that's what I meant. It's quite imbalanced. Oh, and also I don't think promotional sets of any kind make it to Australia, with the exception of a few. I understand the spinner thing though. Originally, I wanted to buy the spinner sets for the actual spinners, but after learning the figures were Chinese and (more importantly) the ridiculously high price for the figures, I decided against it.
  10. I think the reason why there isn't a spinner is because of the overall size. It would be extremely imbalanced to use one in a game: he has four arms, but is also an easier target to hit. Personally, I'm a bit disappointed at the lack of Zanes in the sets. Zane is only in three of the sets (four if you count the Ice Dragon, but that's the DX version), and is harder to obtain than the others. I hope we see images of the Lightning Dragon soon, and it'd be great if it wasn't an exclusive (though it almost definitely is), and if it included Zane.
  11. Ooh, the guesses were right. Thanks for the review. Well, I'm not too interested in Architecture as it's not available here. Still, this makes for a great display piece.
  12. Ooh, nice! I really like those mermaids, but Whitecap Bay looks to be more expensive than the London Escape set. I also just noticed that Jack with his coat doesn't appear in the four sets that I'm definitely buying. I'm very tempted to cut some of my Star Wars budget allowance now.
  13. Great! The blue looks a bit strange though. A clear bottle would be nice, but if those pieces aren't available, then blue is okay. Still, very nice. It'd be great to have on display.
  14. Hmm. The newest Droideka looks best, but the second version also looks good. If you take the hip area from the second version, add more brown parts (accuracy aside, I think the arms and bottom need to be brown), and modify the head, that would probably look best, in my opinion.
  15. You have good points. Still, I think this is close enough. I would have liked a different head mould, but I guess the reason why the Earth dragon has a different head is because it can't fly (or can it?). Argh, I was going to get the Skeleton Bowling set today, but my local TRU has closed temporarily for renovations.
  16. I found an image of the Lightning Dragon from the Ninjago Battles game. It doesn't really confirm anything, but it seems like it could be a real set. I'm dangerously close to giving up on getting the Lightning Dragon set. I'm going to buy the Skeleton Bowling set anyway, but I'll still get the dragon if it's released.
  17. Please let it be a mistake! The shuttle is probably one of my most anticipated City sets, and it would be disappointing to miss out. The TRU sale is nice, except I was specifically going for Ninjago sets. Seems that it's more popular than I thought; most of the stores around me have sold out of Ninjago sets. If I see the shuttle at TRU though, that would be great.
  18. Great! This fits with the overall aesthetic of Ninjago, and it's not too complex. If there was maybe some more red or some other colour, it would definitely look like a real set.
  19. Thanks for the review. I'm not a train fan, but it does look great. The containers are also nice. That blue is really great though.
  20. Wow, a review already? I have to admit, I was disappointed to see that Jack's outfit was repeated a few times throughout the sets (previously, it was stated that every set has a different variation of Jack), but the review show that there are actually different heads, not just outfits. This is great news, and the head variations are all available in the smaller sets that I was originally going to buy. That said, the torso prints are great, too.
  21. Nice! The main body area seems a little too thin, though. Otherwise, it's quite good. Personally, I prefer the thinner version, but that's just me.
  22. It's probably only in the Fortaan Castle set, unfortunately. I want it too, but hopefully we'll see it in Kingdoms or something. A new helmet mould like that could definitely be used in other themes. Yay, trans-light blue axe heads. I'm still excited.
  23. I agree, it does look like part of the actual head, but I still can't tell. It also might look a bit odd due to the size, and might not fit on standard minifig heads properly. The heads are slightly different though (at least by printing), so the chance of the helmet being removable is diminishing. On the other hand, the blacksmith's hut shows that the seam between the helmet and the eye parts of the head aren't completely closed. It's hard to say whether it is or isn't.
  24. Wow, I didn't notice that. There are flick-fire missiles on the cart? Of all things, the cart? I agree with you on the boxy cockpit, but there's an ejection function, so that can't really be prevented. Those silver pieces are definitely an opportunity lost, as I think they would have fitted well. Ships that are meant to be completely grey shouldn't use silver too much, but I think this could have been improved with silver. Oh well, can't complain too much. It's nice to finally get a Naboo Starfighter at all.
  25. Wow, didn't expect the hilt. I forgot about the other chromed parts, I don't come across them often. But yeah, they're still rare. Reminds me, I found a slightly better image of the Naboo Starfighter... Here! I hope linking to it is okay.
