  1. Personally, I really like it. It's a little more 'helmet' than 'mask' but it has a slightly unnerving vibe that fits in perfectly with the rest of the Guild.
  2. It looks like someone shamelessly mashed together a TIE Defender and a Mandalorian Ship in a trash compactor and called it a ship. Well, that's one set I'm definitely not buying...
  3. This looks absolutely spectacular. I understand the rules and I definitely want to play.
  4. I liked RotS enough, but I'm a strong believer that the more CGI is used, the less one is immersed in the film. The trench run in ANH is absolutely compelling, but was used almost completely with real models. The Battle of Coruscant looks spectacular, sure, but it doesn't draw one in as well as the trench run.
  5. Oi, this was difficult. Quest 34: I put this one on top, mainly because it was basically what developed Dyric's primary goal. Not to mention it steered him away from the cliche 'into the dark side' path I was originally planning for him. Quest 53: It's a hard choice between this one and 19. I think this was the quest I really figured out who exactly Dyric was and how he reacted to things. Also, defeat of one of his nemesis, Wren. Not to mention some decapitation. Quest 19: Started really laying seeds for Dyric character, especially backstory. I'm pretty sure this was the quest where the Duplovia stuff really got dug into, and I'm very pleased with that. Quest 65: Basically really sinking into some of the lessons Dyric has learned, plus dealing with leadership and love. Quest 9: Not a lot of development here, if any. The only thing I can think of was developing his friendship with Skrall.
  6. Colour me excited. Word do not describe how interested I am.
  7. Sorry, my bad. I had assumed Alexander's rep was from the quest, so I just thought Sarge's was still coming. Alexander, Sarge, and Brickington should have all got Bonaparte rep from that quest. Thalion chose not to get any.
  8. They did the same thing with the DC-15 pieces we have now when they first came out. I guess LEGO like gauging reaction by putting their new weapons on Battle packs.
  9. I think in general Quests are created with the assumption that, in the end, the Heroes will find a way to win. Quest 48 is a testament to that - no matter how massive the enemy, the Heroes still came out on top. It seems most of the quests where Heroes actually did fail were because of choices made by the Heroes themselves to let go of that end goal, as opposed to the overwhelming odds.
  10. So after being gone for a week, I've managed to catch up and see the pics. Some really cool stuff. Death Star Battle Pack: Love the fact we finally have gunners. There's lots of complaints against the Royal Guards, but I've been wanting some of these guys for a while, so I'll take it. The cannon seems a tad odd, but it is a battle pack. Kashyyyk Battle Pack: The minifigures are impeccable. The Swamp Speeder is a bit of a let-down, but I have the recent one so it's not that big of a deal to me. Battle of Saluecami: On the one hand, I'm happy to finally be getting a Saluecami set, and one with Neyo no less. The 91st has some of the coolest armour in the movies, so I'm happy to finally see some. The rest of the set isn't that impressive, but I may pick it up depending on price. Vulture Droid: The one from 2005 is far superior, but I may pick it up for the Neimodian. V-Wing: Not much improvement from the last one, which I have. Pass. Jedi Starfighter: Ditto the V-Wing. General Grevious' Wheel Bike: I was thinking a few weeks ago that this set should get a redesign, and I'm glad it did. I'm a little saddened to see the lack of an updated Boga, but oh well. I may pick this up, especially if Grevious is improved at all from his TCW version. Droid Gunship: Again, it's not very improved, and I have the last one. The Kashyyyk trooper and updated Chewie are impressive, but not enough to sway me. AT-AP: My opinion has not changed. All in all, a very cheap wave for me.
  11. That's what I thought, thanks.
  12. I think this has been asked before, but is it possible to have great reputation with all the houses?
  13. Out of pure curiosity, is this Guffington 3?
  14. This is absolutely stunning! Captures the beauty of Rivendell extremely well. Excellent work!
  15. Just chipping in to the above, given its history there\s bound to be ruins around Duplovia from the giants.
  16. Dyric looked around, surprised to see the hall relatively empty. Everyone he knew seemed to be gone on a quest, and he couldn't recognize anyone that remained. For the moment, he was effectively alone. By himself. With no- Alright, alright, I'll go see her. Thank you. Dyric gets up and walks out of the hall, heading for the Waltzing Dragon.
  17. Although technically Jackson can't directly take from the Silmarillian or Unfinished Tales, he has been taking 'inspiration' from them. That said, a few details need to be changed so that he isn't sued, and that's why some details are messed up, like the timeline and why the Witch-King is at Dol Guldur instead of Minas Ithil. I feel pretty certain that we're missing a set on there. There has to be a Smaug set, it wouldn't make sense for LEGO to not use him.
  18. Thor 2 trailer: I'm still anticipating TWS more, but this is looking to be pretty interesting.
  19. In the Hall, Dyric noted the announcement of the lottery. He noted how successful the last one was, and decided to sign his name, Dyric Rone, onto the parchment.
  20. This is the news I've been waiting for. Already, Star Wars VII is looking to be that much better. Meanwhile, here's some news for Rebels: http://starwars.com/news/star-wars-celebration-europe-2013-star-wars-rebels-logo-art-and-details-revealed.html
  21. Let's start with what you've done in Heroica so far. I mean, surely you've done something while you've been here, right?
  22. This may be a bit spoilerish, but in the future the Duplovia arc will in a sense feature both of those.
  23. An interesting quote from Kevin Feige: http://bcove.me/yw95afj9
  24. If so, then I'm very intrigued.
  25. Well, I doubt that. Everyone has something interesting about themselves. For example, I once decapitated a Pongcanis Chief. Plenty interesting!
