  1. Too true. I heard about what happened at the Foundation Day party. We need to contain this as quickly as possible, before either family gets ideas of grandeur.
  2. Indeed it has, and the same to you, Thothwick. Always nice to see a familiar face, especially now that the world isn't at stake. I grin slightly. I'll believe that when I see it. A bit of a Rogue's Gallery here, isn't it? Reminds me of when Dak, Guts and I strolled through Triad Park.
  3. OOC: For some reason I never updated my stats after 65. Sorry about that, it's done now. What are our leads, besides the make? I stop to shake hands with the female of our team. I'm not sure if we've met. The name's Dyric Rone, Assassin of the Light.
  4. Dyric frowned briefly at the announcement. What exactly was it that people saw in him as a leader? With a sigh, he shouldered the massive bag that carried his supplies, and followed Thothwick through the Hall doors.
  5. Agreed. I think it's one of the longest too. Managing to keep a monologue of that size so interesting and involved is a true mark of skill. Great job, Endgame!
  6. Nice seeing a few Excaliber members in there. I think this'll be the first LEGO game I've bought that I've been motivated almost purely by the characters.
  7. Frankly, they weren't aiming for British. They were aiming for a meld of Ewan McGregor and Alec Guiness, which they achieved spectacularly.
  8. For some reason, Sorrow's story reminds me a lot of the movie Requiem for a Dream.
  9. I thought it was pretty good. Not quite anything special, but with Whedon at the helm it's bound to improve.
  10. Intrigued, I sign up for Quest 84
  11. I love the diverse characterization you put into this, Sandy! I for one relished the chance to be able to play a character that differed a bit from Dyric Rone. Sadly, towards the end I had less and less time to commit to keeping up the characterization that was developed as strongly, but it was still a lot of fun for those first couple days.
  12. I think the number 1 reason was because you hid right at the beginning of nearly every single day, making it impossible to attack you.
  13. Thanks for the incredible game, Sandy! I had a lot of fun with it! Everything was extremely well done and put together, and I only wish I had had more time for it towards the end.
  14. Personally, Lucas is an excellent visionary and story-teller, but not that great of a writer. ANH was written by him, sure, and ANH was great, but ESB and RotJ were both written and directed by people other than Lucas. When the prequels came out, they were pure Lucas with no filter. That said, Lucas having input may definitely help this movie. Lawrense Kasdan writing will definitely make it at least watchable. Say what you want about the Star Trek movies, but I believe they were pretty well done, and I have a lot of confidence with Abrams at the helm. Throw in John Williams, and you really have a pretty great team to make an excellent movie. The success of this movie, to me, is definitely going to come down to the plot. As weird as the Dark Empire arc was, you can't deny that it does a good job continuing the series. Cloning Palpatine is one of the more annoying decisions in the EU, but it definitely ties it back to the movies in a way I could see them doing. I like, so many others, would love a Thrawn trilogy, but the official remarks that they aren't taking directly from any EU source seems to discount that. I'm really not sure what to think of this decision personally, because being a man very invested into the EU I have trouble seeing a scenario where Lucas doesn't totally overwrite everything, but who knows what'll happen. Just one last note, about the references issue. A few months ago I'd probably disagree, saying the more nods the better. I recently read X-Wing Mercy Kill, however, which seems to try to hold up on references to the older books instead of its own plot and characters. It performs fairly well, but any fan of the series will tell you that Allstan seemed sacrificed the charm of the old books - the characters and how they interact with each other - to make all sorts of references and tie up old loose ends.
  15. I finally bring myself to check the Quest List. Realizing it's been a while since my last quest, I sign up for Quest 82.
  16. Is that one more night including this one?
  17. I... see. I file away the man's face and name for future, more sober discussions.
  18. Best reference ever, Pyro. Of all time.
  19. You set everyone against Kharybdis. You set everyone against Calico. Both were steady town leaders that brought Nephilim deaths. You can deny this all you want, but everyone saw it.
  20. I took a hit on one of the first nights, but if anyone's in greater need of healing they should go first. I fear it's already too late, but I will create a bomb and throw it at Corelin.
  21. And there goes one of the last town leaders. Blast it, people. How can we expect to get anywhere if you keep killing the people pointing us in the right direction? Here is the list of possible archers: Percival: Ranger Werther: Assassin Wyrdag: Hunter Corelin: Warden Enya: Evoker Pallas: Druid That said, I highly doubt Enya or Pallas are our archers. Both are paired with magic classes, which would indicate their arsenal is more pointed towards those abilities. Werther has been fairly neutral in speech, but generally his actions have been pro-town. Percival and Wyrdag have both been almost silent through the investigation, but have not been suspicious besides that. This leaves Corelin, who has been behind the deaths of several pro-town leaders now. The dwarf has been antagonistic against people who have proved themselves, and gotten them killed. Also, she should be dead several times over by now, but has blocked my every attack against her. I am convinced Corelin is our ranger, and one of the last scum. If she isn't already, I suggest Scamander put Corelin to sleep so we can put an end to this insolent young dwarf once and for all.
  22. I get the feeling your train is missing a caboose, Sarge. I look over the man closer. Is that Duplovian weaponry you have on you?
  23. Great job! A few years ago I was thinking of making a MOC like this, but never had the resources to carry it out. It's very cool to see this as a finished product, and I have to say it's an amazing job!
  24. I've been meaning to play Mass Effect for a long time now, but never got around to it.
  25. I sit in contemplation for some time due to awful internet access before speaking up. I'm in, Boss. My ultimate goal is peace in Eubric, after all. This 'Baba' has seem to have torn away and peaceful arrangement. If this is the way, the Assassin of the Light will help see it done.
