I was just going off Desmond. Never watched LOST, but the video amused me. I too, never really liked or got into Bionicle. It really was never my thing, and never will be. βEDIT: Just wanted to elaborate. Dyric started calling Arthur brother before I first saw the Desmond video posted here back... oh, near the tail end of 53? Anyways, that was more of a catalyst than anything.

I point to the Heroica crest on the floor. If war breaks out, we will be here to stop it. This, this is what Heroica was founded for. To fight the battles others couldn't face. We're here as a promise to Eubric. If and when war breaks out, it'll be up to us. There's a long sigh. If only there's some way we could mobilize. If there were some sort of neutral party that could stand if the houses fall apart...

Blast it Dyric, stop being so dramatic about everything.

At most of the recap, Dyric had stayed largely silent. After hearing this, however, a deadly fire came to Dyric's eyes. Peace!? They were finally at peace? A hard fought peace we have struggled to achieve for the past year? And now, this... this witch, yet another Dark Lady steps in a thwarts all of it? Dyric throws up his hands in frustration, and paces for a few moments. I dedicated my life for this, Brother, I dedicated my life for the protection of Eubric. The elimination of chaos. The security of the houses. Now that's been thrown away - all of it - by this... this 'Baba'. Dyric heard Arthur continue talking, but could barely concentrate on the words in his fury. We have to defeat her, Brother. We have to defeat Baba. This isn't even like Wren, that was business. She was chaos, she needed to be stopped. This!? Whether Baba knows or not, she has made this personal. She must be stopped. For me, for Heroica, for Eubric, the houses - for gorram everything. So much for a perfectly good day.

Indeed. You disappeared right after the Wren battle. I have so many questions. For one, what inspired this new career? What does Alexis think of it? What happened at the theater? Did you, perhaps, see a man-bat there by the name of Crube? As for my own quest, it was... interesting. I quested with Nerwen, who provided a lot of wisdom. A fascinating woman, she is. Also I... met someone. I've seen the type before. Had they fought against Wren or the Proggs, we'd all be about 6 feet lower. De'kra, greetings. I've heard much about you. All good, don't worry.

Dyric wakes a long time later, well rested and pleased. His thoughts were still a buzz, but at least he could think coherently. He saw Arthur across the hall and walked to him. Brother! It is good to see you well.

Thanks again for the amazing quest, WBD! This has probably been one of the best quests I've been on RPG-wise. After the intense battle with Wren and her forces, it was a fun contrast to go through a more mental and moral battle. My only issue was, as said, the quest seemed to drag a little. Given the nature of the quest, however, I suppose this was a given. Nerwen/Chromeknight: You definitely kept me on my toes this quest. It was fun exploring some more of Dyric's facets, and Nerwen definitely offered up a catalyst with which to do that. Nerwen showed her profound wisdom a lot during this quest, all the while taking no gruff from anyone. Nerwen is quickly growing to be one of the most intriguing characters in my mind, keep it up! Cronk/CorneliusMurdock: You were a steady presence throughout the quest, humbly stepping down from the leadership role while still offering plenty of advice and suggestions. As always, you were a lot of fun to work with. As noted above, Cronk showed some surprising hidden depths this quest, and it'll be fun to watch that grow and develop! Xander/Posades: You were quiet, calm, and collected. You provided a nice contrast to the sometimes heated discussions going on between Dyric, Nerwen and Cronk. You generally provided consistent support for the team, and it was a pleasure questing with you. Thank again to you all!

Dyric slowly walked into the hall, a little bit later than the other heroes from Quest 65. He notices many old friends in the hall, but is far too weary to speak to them at the moment. Instead he makes his way directly to a chair against a wall in the Hall. He falls down into it, exhausted. For the first time since fighting Wren, Dyric Rone sleeps.

Nah, it's my own fault for trying to be so thorough.

Thanks for the fantastic quest, WB! More comments later, but I deeply apologize if I turned this into a Rone-quest. That wasn't my intention, but it feels like it turned out that way. Again, I'm really sorry if this feels the case for anyone else.

Heroica RPG - Quest #65: Breaking Down the Door
The Legonater replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
CM seemed intent on helping them, but frankly I agree - I don't see anyway of helping them. Or any reward. I believe that's it for the rents. Thank you, Mr. Greely. This has been an... interesting experience. You folks run ahead. I have some business to take care of first. -

I walk over to Greely. The ghosts mentioned something about Paladins coming through here. Have you heard from them? -

I wouldn't give up just yet. I think we should at least ask Greely about the Paladins. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #65: Breaking Down the Door
The Legonater replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
We've encountered no iceboxes, and Greely mentioned no Paladins. The two men that were working on the furnace downstairs vaguely reminded me of a pair of Paladins I recall overhearing about, but I'm probably mistaken. As Cronk alluded, we have encountered some apparently possessed furniture, however. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #65: Breaking Down the Door
The Legonater replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
If I'm correct, I believe you're referring to Ecatsue. He was a dragon who had been turned into a man by a witch, and just underwent a process that turned him back into his true and final form. It was all quite fascinating. -

We could give it a shot, though I'm not sure what more we can do. -

Farewell, Ecatsue. Always nice to meet a dragon. Good luck on your quest, and safe travels. See, Greely? I told you we could trust the dragon. And yes, any information would be useful. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
The Legonater replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm disappointed by Green Arrow being an exclusive, he's by far one of my favorite DC heroes. Hopefully we see him in a set with a slightly different outfit? I care less about Spiderwoman, but she's definitely very accurate and a nice fig. -

I agree. We should heal Ecatsue if we can. What about you Nerwen? You don't... look well. Do you want any healing? -
LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
The Legonater replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
And didn't we get clear pictures during the Toy Fair back in... February, was it? -
I just saw it with my father - a fan of many old Westerns - and we both thought it was brilliantly done. It was hilarious and action-packed, and I felt the plot was surprisingly well done too. It's a shame it's getting such bad reviews.

I was confused for a few moments as well, but I believe it is intended of the context of someone imbuing one gem at a time. Humanoid enemies occur a lot, and thus it would be more important to have an Amethyst in your weapon than an Opal.
