Short temper for one. I smirk knowingly.

Let's see how strong you really are, Bors. ...Great, I'm starting to turn into Karie. Let's just take him out. It would be a profound pleasure, master. Dyric attacks from the back row with Requiem twice. The Jinn attacks from the front row. Party Order: Jinn Dyric Dyric Karie Thothwick

LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion
The Legonater replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
There's a lot of cool stuff here, but I'm kind of surprised at the amount of attention the Dol Guldor is getitng, while there is no Smaug anywhere in the wave. I was under the impression DoS was ending with the Battle of Laketown? Hopefully Smaug shows up in a D2C or next wave.- 7,499 replies

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
The Legonater replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I can't see the video, it says it's private. -
Karie, heal me up. Thothwick, Jinn, take Bors. I attack The Viking with Requiem from the back twice. Jinn attacks Bors from the front. Party Order: Thothwick Jinn Karie Dyric Dyric OOC: Something's up with my computer, and I can't post on it. Because of that, I won't be posting often, and when I do it'll probably be from my phone, so formatting may be limited. Sorry for the inconvienance!

Is Rogue on there at all? I don't see her. -
You want to get blasphemous, kid, this really ain't the time. Save it for when we're safer from the fire and brimstone. This is going to be tight... Jinn, take Bors. Of course, sir. I revive Thothwick, and attack the Viking with Requiem from the back row. Battle Order: Karie Jinn Dyric Dyric Thothwick.

I'm pretty sure Doctor Strange is confirmed. I hope so, that'd be a killer movie.
-
I was thinking along the same lines, Zeph. That's... not good. Alright, Thothwick, take Bors and hope you get lucky. Karie, good job. I'll work on a way to take out that blasted Pongcanis. Any objections? I look down at the lamp in my inventory. Feeling uneasy about the artefact, I rub it to life from the back row. I look in awe at the Diamond Jinn that appears. What is it you want? Attack the Pongcanis. Violently, if possible. It shall be done. Party Order: Thothwick Karie Dyric Jinn

Perfect. Thank you.
-
And this Jinn would soak up free hits as well, yes?

EDIT: Gah. Post didn't go into the last one like it was supposed to.

I just went through three different plans in my head assuming at least one of us had some sort of offensive bomb. How exactly did we come this unprepared? On a semi-related note, exactly how do Lamps of Summoning work? I've had one for a while now, but I haven't actually seen them in action. What do they do?

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
The Legonater replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
EDIT: Nevermind. It was apparently some glitch in the scripting, and Sandman didn't knock the girder off the tower. I played it through a second time, and it was alright. This game is amazing so far! So much fun to play the character, the music is outstanding, and the game isn't nearly as obvious as some other games (especially LotR) have been. I can't wait for the full game! -
Thothwick, I suggest you take a potion. I'll take Bors. I attack Bors with Requiem from the back row. Same battle order
-
This is where the rubber lips start to come in.

I agree with MDM to an extent. If a character's whole existence is wrapped around that quirk or gimmick, and that's all he or she's about, the character quickly becomes boring and flat. I do understand what Kintober is saying, though - not as using that quick as the purpose of that character, but the base. There are a lot of amazing characters that can be nailed down to a basic gimmick, but grow and develop beyond that. Any of you who watch Red vs Blue no full well what I'm talking about. That paragraph became a lot more rant-y than I intended.

Nothing for now, kid. Dyric also repeats!

Did you have any issues at the base of the Avengers Tower? I got past shutting down the electricity, and then I got stuck. I assumed I was supposed to use Spider-Man on the hook at the edge of that one tower, but the game wouldn't let me. -
Commenting on the stress of 53, frankly I think it added to the quest. This was the end of the world. This was an intense, bloody war. Stress merely added to the reality and gravity of the situation. Out of curiosity - and as Zeph said this may be better in the theater - does anyone have any advice as to how to improve NPC roleplaying? I gave it a shot in 64, but I don't feel I was very good at it.

I believe I should have done double damage, due to my Amethyst. Good job, everyone! Again!

Oh, don't be so self-centered. It's completely 'armless.
