Dyric walks into the hall. Seeing already new quests were up, he moved to sign up for Quest 87. After this, he found his old friend Skrall - hardly someone easy to miss - and waved as he approached the ogre. Skrall! How've you been? It's been a while.

This movie looks to be hilarious. I can't wait! Also, the Lincoln bit killed me.

Where I viewed Iron Man 3 they honestly fast forwarded through the credits. Also, from what I've heard, Thor may have two post-credit scenes, ala the Avengers.
-
Apparently the kid isn't too interesting in loot. 25 gold and the Spear and the Traveller's Cloak to Thothwick. Everything else to Dyric.
-
I'll post a more in-depth review when I'm not trying to do five things at once, but great quest, Zeph! Not a whole lot to it, but it did bring some interesting moments. Watching Dyric pay a price for his neutrality is going to be interesting. Kintober, Flitwick, great job to both of you! You guys were so much fun to play against. Kintober, if there were moments Dyric was seeming particularly jerk-y, I apologize. There were at least a few moments that were, in hindsight, a lot more out of character than I intended. Still, great quest, everyone! It was a lot of fun!

I need nothing more, Shawe, though I feel you should know that my helping you today was not out friendship, but necessity. Dyric Rone, Assassin of the Light, will not take sides in your war. You may tell your house what you wish - in fact I encourage it - but don't expect it to change my mind, should it come down to you or the Hinckwells. Henry, the same goes for you. And Karie? Never. Again. Anyone call dibs on any of this loot?

Someone heal those two. I'll take Darkness and Light elemental bombs.

Keep going! Again!

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
The Legonater replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Playing PC, and encountering an issue on the Venom boss fight. After burning him and he comes to destroy the cannon, Venom disappears completely. Is this happening to anyone else? -
Go all in! I fire at Grady from the back with Requiem. Battle Order: Dyric Karie

I've got to agree, this trailer in itself doesn't present a whole lot that we haven't already seen. That said, Bishop is looking pretty cool, and I'm excited to see more. Back to the Cap trailer for a second, I really like the way they've been handling Phase 2. One of the things I was most worried about after watching the Avengers was that this massive event would be completely brushed aside. Thankfully they've been doing just the opposite - Iron Man 3 in many ways explored the aftermath of the Battle of New York on a personal level, with Stark in a much weakened state and finding himself locked in his basement to survive. Thor 2 definitely seems to be exploring the aftermath on a interplanetary level, with forces rallying to attack Earth. Cap 2 seems to be exploring the aftermath on a political level, what with all the changes to SHEILD. Even Agents of SHEILD has been showing the aftermath on a civilian level, with more people with superpowers coming to light, and the truth demanding to get out. It makes me really curious as to whether or not GotG will deal with this or not, and if so, how.

I totally thought I'd posted last night, oops. Jinn, do us proud! I shout, releasing the Jinn from the back. The Jinn appeared again in all his majesty. As you wish, master. The Jinn attacks Grady from the Front. Battle Order: Jinn Dyric Karie

I was really hoping they'd delve into Civil War, but I was expecting it to wait until they buy back a few major licences, and for it to be more than a movie or two long. That said, they may just be planting the seeds at this point.

So sorry about that, guys! I was helping with a camp thing over the weekend and totally forgot to tell anyone until I was deep in the Rockies with no service. Sorry again! Nah, let's hope we get lucky. Same attack and BL
-
Missed that. Figures this wouldn't be that easy. Still, no natter who attacks him and from where, he'll still knock us out. Healing him would actually be a good idea.
-
Fortune favours the Bold. Karie, give the man his wish, I'll deal with the Spearman. I attack the Spearman with Requiem from the back row. Same BL
-
Sorry about that, for some reason I though Karie wasn't participating in the battle. You want to prove yourself kid? Take that Spearman. I repeat my action Battle Order: Thothwick Dyric Karie
-
You insolent child! After everything we've told you, you are still woefully ignorant of the end results of your outright childish actions. You're a coward. You're selfish. You're not worthy of being a hero of Heroica, you disgrace the name. You're not any better than Vonnetate. In the end, if we come to blows, you'll suffer the same fate. Trust me. Furious, Dyric turns to the Hinckwells. I attack the crossbow man with Requiem from the back. Battle Order: Thothwick Dyric

Sorry for the delay. Stupid computer at home is really messed up lately. This is not your choice, Karie! It doesn't matter who hired us, there are larger forces in play here, larger than you, your ego and it's definitely larger than anything you seem to think it is. Frankly, I don't care about your cynical view on the world, and when it comes down to it, neither does anyone else. In the end it doesn't matter if you've been exiled by your home or if you're a chaos user whose been deceived by all the wrong forces. What matters is that you make the choice - the right choice. The choice that ends with as few losses as possible, and the gets Eubric closer to peace. Call me melodramatic - I may very well be - but if you don't look at the big picture enough, you quickly lose focus. You want to be a real hero, Karie? Stop caring so much about yourself and your own needs. It only distances yourself from the goals of Heroica. Who cares about your lonely soul!? We strive towards a larger goal. Our little lives don't count at all! Being a hero - a real hero - means putting the lives of the your team above your own. It means doing everything for the men and women in the streets - the ones that may never know your name - because in the end it's them that matter, not yourself. Life isn't perfect. It sure ain't fair. But that doesn't mean we can't do our best to make it that way. Thothwick is right, the scale here is far larger than this shipment. In the future it may turn to be a prelude to war. And that is something I will not abide. The shipment will go to the Shadeux. It may not have been fair game, but the Shadeux do have the contract. There is no need for wanton bloodshed, though. What would that gain any of you? Nothing. It may still be possible for the Hinckwells to gain a possible contract, but if needless bloodshed is spilled that option closes..
-
He doesn't have to say the nature if the trickery, merely that he has found evidence that the Hinckwells were not at fault.
-
Just making sure. ...I don't wish any bloodshed. Believe me in that. But for all intents and purposes, the supplies are Shawe's. For that matter, we have seen his buyers, and they are not to be trifled with. Surely, if the Guild is as impartial as they claim, they would be perfectly willing to make a deal with the Hinkwells as well, no? Especially once Shawe admits the Blood Paws' allegiance with the Hinckwells was framed? I say the last sentence with just a touch of pressure.
-
How exact are the deals? There's got to plenty of explosives, isn't there?
-
Thothwick has a point, but it seems the Shadeux framed the Hinckwells to get that deal. Karie, like it or not, you do care about this feud. By signing up for Heroica, you signed up for this feud. Our job, what Heroica was formed for, is keeping the peace in Eubric in situations like this. That means keeping the peace between the Hinckwells and the Shadeux. Remember when I said how delicate this situation is? How we needed to be on our guard at all times? This is exactly what I was talking about. You want to be a Hero, Karie? It has nothing to do with your 'needs' and your self-perceived importance. No one cares about any of that, and in the end running your own objective will just leave you alone and in the dark. If you want to make any sort of difference at all, you can start by caring about those around you for a change, and about this feud. Running around without a care in the world will only end in death. Can't any compromise be made? We're all adults here. There's no need for bloodshed.
-
I'm just thinking we might need a little blackmail. If you get my drift.
-
This isn't about money. This is about doing the right thing. Surely some kind of agreement can be made. Karie. Is there any way you can make a torch or something?
