Heroica RPG - Quest #89: Reclaiming Glory
The Legonater replied to CMP's topic in The Heroica Archive
Well apparently your beards can't repel arrows, so you won't mind if I find your own defenses a bit laughable. I repeat my attack. -
Is Mary Jane getting the same treatment as Black Widow and now getting proper dark-red hair? Dissapoint. That said, totally sold on that MODOK set. Taskmaster? Falcon? Definitely. I hope that Cap set gives him his World War II get-up.

A Lethal Critical Hit it Wp x 2 + Level. With his 20 defense, I should have done 20x2+20, then multiplied by two again for the elemental damage, and then of course factor in the defense. Sorry, ignore all that, I'm an idiot. -

I believe I should have done double damage, due to having a darkness-elemental weapon? Charge! Keep it up! I repeat my attack. -
Fair enough. I still think the road to independence was paved around 1919, but this is vastly getting off-topic.
-
Technically it was still a colony until just after 1919. I do like the idea of Bone weapons. A very interesting system.

Canada isn't a British territory anymore. It hasn't been since World War One.

Well, this'll be fun. I fire an arrow at Ognar from the back row with Requiem. -

I've found the same thing. I believe it worked the same way in LotR. -

We can't just sit back and watch them get slaughtered, I don't care if they're Bonapartes or not. Besides, they may know something about what's going on here that we don't. -
I thought the chemistry was fine. I actually recall making a remark during the movie that Natalie Portman had improved a lot since Attack of the Clones. Malekith was incomprehensible? He was under-developed, sure, but I could understand everything he said clearly.
-
I loved Thor 2, thought it was a lot of fun. Malekith's motives were a bit unclear, but other than that I really liked it. As for AoS, it doesn't seem to be moving very fast at all. I mean, Graviton was said to be the main villain, but he's been in one episode, and that was just his origin. The Cenitpede arc has only showed up twice, the second appearance not really answering anything fast. While the Monster of the Week formula works well considering the series, I'd like to see more of the meta-arc play out.

It's Dyric, and no. You clearly have not heard of Atramor - a witch, but also a hero of Heroica. He's done plenty to deserve the title, even if he may not see it himself. -

So is money, and power, and food. I don't see anyone hunting people who use those. -
I've always associated Imps with the Galactic Empire, which I guess shows I need to brush up on basic mythology.
-
Thinking the exact same thing. Heroica has far too few Monty Python references to be a proper RPG.

Really? I was always a fan of the ocean. The glistening sunset in the pale water, the open sea all around you... made me feel alive. Of course, I never did see it that often. So often I was running around inside the walls of Duplovia, off on whatever assignment. If it weren't for family tradition, I'd have probably found a way into a navy somewhere. Better than being cooped up all day. I guess that's part of what attracted me to Eubric. 'Freeport'? That's what I like to hear. -

And here I was thinking the same lines as Alexander. Seriously, you'd think you must have gone on a boat sometime during your childhood? -

Dyric smiles slightly at the sight of seeing Haldor and Jess together after so long, but turns back to Nerwen. I hope so - Dastan or no we're going to have to be extra careful this time. However, the Orc here made it clear negotiations might be strained at best. Still, I'll do what I can. -

I ice over. Believe me, scum. I've met witch hunters, and they were a lot more than you'll ever amount to. -

You're the last person I expected to be this naive. Three Quests, all going the same place? You know exactly where we've seen this before, and you know how well that went. I don't see you defeating any Goddesses lately, scrawny. -

Well enough, Nerwen, though I don't take well to surprises this early in the game. And you? -

I was just going to ask about this. Thanks for reading my mind, Zeph.

So we're trying to gather together as many clans together into one unit as we can? I can't say I haven't done something like this before, but I hope this goes a lot better than that did. I turn to Alexander and Thormanil. I don't believe we've met?
