Heroica RPG - Quest #89: Reclaiming Glory

Alexis makes a good point. I repeat. -
To be honest, I'm kind of surprised by the amount of people saying 'x character is boring' or 'x character can't act'. I always though AoS had a pretty decent cast - not amazing, but certainly better than a lot of other shows out there.

I move to the back of the cart and fire an arrow at Harpy B. -

I have no questions, except perhaps about Marga's sanity. Let's go. -

Dyric also sleeps. -
As far as I know Vision is a cyborg, but I may be mixing him with Omega Sentinel for whatever reason. It's pure theory anyways, I just think it'd be a neat direction for the character.

A few things. One, they could easily have Ultron hack Coulson in the Avengers if that's the route they want to take with it. Streiten clearly said that a lot of they work they did was before Coulson wasn't the same man anymore. That could easily lead to some version of the Vision we all know.

After watching this episode, I'm really hoping he turns out to be the MCU Vision.

Missed the post credits scene. What happened?

I'll buy three cosmic essances. -
Frankly, I much prefer the climax of Smaug flying to Lake Town than Bilbo with the Arkenstone. You say this gives away what's going on, but for the most part anyone who's read the books knows what's going on anyways, Arkenstone or no. As much as the Dwarves vs. Smaug annoys me as a sequence, it really does need to be there. Any movie needs a big fight scene at the end, and it was honestly either this or Smaug vs. Lake Town, that latter of which would have meant that the main villain of the trilogy was set-up, introduced, and killed all in the second movie. That just doesn't work. My only issue is how the Lake-Town battle is going to work. It needs to me climactic... but honestly all it is is Bard firing an arrow. Sure there's Smaug attacking everything, and Bard has to break out... but in the end, it's really just a one-shot battle.

Sheesh, they really disarmed him, didn't they?

I was too, but it makes sense. Erebor isn't 'far over the misty mountains' anymore, in fact it's right close. Besides, Thorin/Erabor's theme does good in its place.

Agreed, not much more to be done here. -

Yeah, Scuba seems to know what he's doing. I thought I sort of had this figured out, but I sort of feel like I've only messed things over. -
LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors

Honestly, the thing I'm most excited for here is an Ithorian. Finally an Ithorian! I never got the old Star Destroyer, so it's great to finally see a new one. I didn't get the old cantina either... but this one from what is shown doesn't look much better than that one. Which is surprising considering how old that set is. -

Sorry about that, been pretty busy the past couple days. I influence Garohn lawfully. War would devastate your people. Soldier or no, you have to realize that would not help your kind, if anything it would hinder it. -

Woops, misread the true alignments don't change discussion. I influence Garohn Lawfully, guess Lawful Neutral. Of course, of course. Yet this decision in particular could easily effect your culture, your way of live. If someone like Marga had their way, there would be war, a war that could potentially tear Baltarok apart. Would that not be a threat to your kind? -

I guess Garohn is true neutral, and influence him Chaotically. Let me suggest a hypothetical. If most of the clanmeet manages to come to a single peaceful decision, but one leader - say Bastala - stands directly opposed to that decision. Would that classify as such a threat? -
Almost. Goblins are orcs from the Misty Mountains and similar areas.

I guess Garohn is true neutral and influence him lawfully. Indeed. However I am curious, is your duty to your clan-leader, or to your people? You say you are unsure of Bastala. If, theoretically, she were presenting a danger to the orc kind, what would you do? Which duty is more important? -

swils, don't worry. I was vastly confused about Scuba's comment until you two talked it out. I guess Garohn Chaotic Neutral. -
This. I'm actually all for politics and in-depth discussion, but as a player I really didn't know what to do. So thank you!

Guess true neutral Garohn. Dyric spotted him in the crowd and walked to him, trying to influence him in a lawful matter. Greetings. You are one of the Ironshins, are you not? You are a bit of a legend among my family. We are a family of royal guards ourselves. As such, of course, it is our duty to do what we can for our kingdoms. Yet we are soldiers, are we not? Ours is not to question orders, but to remain neutral and willing to carry them out, no? I hope I'm doing this right. -
Merry Christmas, everybody!
