I have a concern if lego wants to meet a "by 2030" goal, shouldn't they start addressing quality problems and other issues NOW so there'll be a 2030 for them? the way quality is going downhill in certain cases and prices going up, that could cause another disaster. there's bound to be people out there already shifting brand loyality and not addressing various problems is bound to shift things in other companies favor faster as issues get worse I'm already looking into clone brands since i don't like the way lego prices are going and there's clone brand themes that look way cooler and are from themes with almost the exact same piece quality. MB has a rock em sock em robot type action figure PLUS a really epic looking spongebob theme coming(I WANT THAT KRUSTY KRAB!) and ionix has a pokemon theme coming. Sorry lego, but the price vs piece vs size of sets is getting to be unfair.

that 's no reason to raise the price by an entire dollar for a code that one might not even use and turn off a lot of buyers. at 3 bucks a pop, they are already on the pricey side and 4 bucks is not going to help things

might want make collecting the ones you want a high priorty. Most of the time the CMF's of one wave go "bye-bye" when another one comes(either all stock or no more coming after the existing stock is used up pending the store) and unless something changes there's 3 more waves coming this year so that means that TLM could be gone within a couple months or so.

not the way i've seen things going around where i am. summer sets come out in june or july(pending the city and store). the way i've seen it done past years, except for friends animals, certain polys, and CMF's is that there's only 2 waves for the majority of stuff. a start of the year wave of sets and a summer release with maybe a few oddball releases

judging by the tag, it's showing the price tag for the cmf numbered sets. I haven't seen anything about the simpsons and MMO figs though. if anyone hears anything about that, please let us know And actually, now that i think about it, mom would probably abandon ship on the figures also. She mainly collects those really adorable Megabloks hello kitty waves(got 1 &3, no signs of 2 at this time) with my help but has also collected a few CMFs. i really doubt that she'd be willing to shell out 4 bucks for one lego figure

but the problem is that not a lot of movies last that long in theaters these days. those other sets won't be out until august(MAYBE late july for early release zones) and there's another 5.5 months until then. odds are that the movie will be on DVD long b4 that point(probably may-ish) and what are the odds of there being as much demand for the sets compared to a summer release in june at the latest? this whole year of release schedules isn't even making any sense! they've got a january release for some stuff, a second release of stuff in march(i am currently stuck STILL waiting another 2 weeks minimum to get the lego friend animals that i really want), a summer wave of stuff, and now sounds like they are shaping up for an august wave of more stuff! It is extremely aggravating since there's only a few things that i really want and the major thing is those friend animals.

as far as minifigures, we still have the simpsons and lego MMO figs coming. they just aren't numbered.

4 bucks a go? if that'll be the price, all I can say is "no more CMFs for me". if it's 3 bucks, I'd consider it since I want 1 for my numbered fig collection but at 4 bucks, I could get a lego friends animal pack for that price.

does anyone know when we will learn the price in the states? I have lego project that i am working on and i can't finish the second story(ran out of 8X16 plates), do the roof, or add a gutter until i get a bricklink order done but i only will have enough for the ship OR the bricklink order at this time.

Depends on the price in the states. If they do a dollar price = pound price and it's only $170, i'll be tempted to save for the set. but if it's pound price translated into dollar price, that'd be $278 bucks so i'd pass

agreed. I'm looking at a few different examples on the list. Like the ball and chain, what's wrong with a tecnic ball and short chain combo? 2 molds that exist already and outside of police, there's not much use for that mold. And that modified 1x1 with beak. I can't see it being used outside of some animals, MAYBE décor purposes. the big castle wheels are another. Outside of fairy tale type uses and a maybe on certain castle cases, can they even come in handy? and that weird new A-frame plate.it makes no sense at all

I can see 1x1 masons plus mason corners as something desperately needed at times. 1x1 logs and log corners is something I found myself needing in a recent build.

That makes no sense at all why lego's doing that!!! It'd be a full half year between series 3 and 4. I don't understand how lego is able to release 16 figures every 3 -4 months or so for the CMF line but they are now being stubborn on releasing series 4 animals made up of 3 polybags that have people getting excited about the thoughts of "someone should make a zoo!". and then there's series 5 images and then what appears to be a wave 6 of animals showing up on the summer line. i got series 1, 2, and 3 PLUS the spares of 3 and the spare 2 i needed and now i'm ready for 4! I've got the hobby money for the them, i'm ready!!! i am just REALLY hoping that something is going to change since that would be putting 3 waves super close together. At $45 for 3 waves, that's not too bad but the thing is that i want extras from each wave. Series 4 i'm planning on getting an extra tiger set or 2. Series 5 i'm most likely going to get a spare bear cub set. And with Series 6(the seal, lion, panda sets), all the sets sound like they might get my attention in the spares catagory of 1, maybe even 2 extra sets each. And the problem is that on top of that, we have plans of taking a mini vaction in roughly the next 4 months or so and i want to hit the lego store for a PAB cup or 2, check the BAM bin for hidden treasures, look for exclusive polys, and check sales since my "local" lego store is about 5-6 hours drive away so i'll have to either take extra money to buy the animals at the lego store or track them down at target b4 vacation time.

Does anyone know what the release date for the series 4 animals is? I thought it was supposed to be the same time as the spring stuff but I'm not seeing it in stores and it's not even on the lego shop site yet. I did see them on the wikia as being released and even followed the lego shop link but it's showing the price as $3.99(not the 4.99 retail it's been) and no add to cart or add to wishlist button.

To put a semi-long story short, I got the wrong lego set as a gift from mom, Galaxy squad Swarm interceptor and not creator thunder wings, and I'm debating on returning the set as long as I am able to get a full refund. problem is that I am riddled w/ feelings of guilt even though I shouldn't be. as epic as the set looks, I know from past buys of similar AC type sets that it'll wind up assembled once, if at all, and most likely stored until it's taking apart and sorted out to make room for more sets. I am trying to make better buying choices and gift requests and i really think that getting TW(either in store or getting it from the lego site in the near future) and returning GSSI would be the best option. Has anyone else ever found themselves in my shoes? Any idea how to shake the "guilty" feeling or is it just a matter of waiting for the feeling to leave?

Went to walmart. No TW, no clearance items. Got a couple of the new $5 3-in-1 creators to tide me over until I can arrange a lego shop order to get that and a few other sets I'm after

receipt is AWOL. Guess I'm keeping the set. ugh. Going to try getting TW soon. not sure what to do w/ GSSI though. It's to cool to donate, not something i'd be in a rush to build, not into selling sets, and not an interesting enough parts source to go parts mining compared to what I already have in my collection. I know TW is an immediate build though.

Mystery box turned out to be set 70701 swarm interceptor. mom got the only blue and white set she saw. It's going back if we find the receipt since I really don't need it. a lot of the parts in the set I already have, either in the same color or different colors. Thunder wings is mostly common parts but it's parts I really could use. Does anyone know if walmart does full refunds on lego post xmas or it is the post holiday prices?
