  1. I, personally, don't like the Pet Shop. Parisian's a good way to go and I can see it jump starting your brick addiction again! Other great choices are any of the other Modulars, the Tower Bridge, Ewok Village (if you're in to SW), and the Tower of Orthanc.
  2. I haven't seen anything of this topic in this fourm, which is pretty surprising. Anyway, I'm a Capricorn (born 1/7), my moon sign is also Capricorn, and my ascendant is Scorpio. If we're talking about Chinese zodiac, I'm year of the rabbit. None are very plausible, but I think it's so fascinating that people can be grouped into different categories with different traits and elements. What is your sign and why do you like astrology/not like it? I'm interested to see what the LEGO fan community has to say about it!
  3. I doubt anyone's actually reading this right now (it's 1/17 ), and the contest has been over for a while. Anyway, thanks for the idea, it gave me something to do today. Here's what I came up with. It's a sweets/chocolate shop. You might be wondering what that thing is above the stove; it's a potholder for the oven on a rack. I had to work with some upside-down building for the inside of the fridge because of the upside-down mudguard on the front.
  4. Thank you for this contest, staff! Every single entry was well thought-out and stupendous! Oh, and congrats to all three winners. You guys well deserve it.
  5. I like how they gave us Episode 2 sets last year, but still didn't give us: . Kamino . Droid Factory . Geonosis Arena . A remake of the Zam Wessel chase C'mon LEGO! When is it gonna get though your thick skulls that we want these!!
  6. Yeah, that's the one I go to, the employees are so nice there!
  7. Hello from Ohio, too! Welcome to Eurobricks and LEGO again. Which LEGO store did you go to? I've only been to the Columbus one and the one in Beachwood mall (Cleveland).
  8. Awesome! The rock detail is great, with just the right amount of foliage. Love the skulls, too!
  9. I'm loving your MOCs from movies!
  10. I'm sure you have heard many of this type of response in this thread, but here's mine. If I were in charge to come up with DC sets for 2015, these would be them. 1) "Batman : vs. Killer Croc" - $12.99 . Batman (same as in the Riddler Chase) and Killer Croc 2) "Batman : Hush Encounter" - $19.99 . Batman (standard black variant), Hawkman, and Hush 3) "Superman : Brainiac Attack" - $29.99 . Superman (new 52), Lois Lane, and Brainiac 4) "Batman : Villian Showdown" - $49.99 . Batman (standard dark blue and grey), Green Lantern, Sinestro, and Two-Face (different version) 5) "Superman : Battle of Metropolis" - $69.99 . Superman (new 52), Batman (new 52), Martain Manhunter, Doomsday (big fig), Lex Luthor Perhaps this is a tad unrealistic, I doubt they'd give us this many new heroes/villains in one wave. But oh well!
  11. Just got Cloud Cuckoo Palace

  12. Wow! Is that 100% LEGO?
  13. Is it used? Because if you open and close the shell too much, it might do that. If it's new, I'd contact LEGO about it.
  14. I think LEGO's take was not to make a Parisian Restaurant that was specifically in France, but to make one somewhere else with French style food. Anyway, your take is excellent! You took a lot of risks; the droid body, the minifigure legs, tons of SNOT, blocky awning, etc. But it seems to work and flow together beautifully. Great job!
  15. This is great. It really fits in with the set! Love the catapult on the top too; that's pretty recognizable.
  16. This is beautiful! I love the mason brick ground, the tree, the dock, the café, the water effect, EVERYTHING.
  17. Oh wow! I never would have thought of using colored frogs as poison dart frogs! It's so simple! Great job, btw.
  18. If you don't like Bricklink, just buy some sets! Take a good look at the parts in it, and see how much use you can get out them. I suggest Friends sets for interior detail, and Creator houses for exterior detail.
  19. Just wanted to let everyone know that the Lord Business' Evil Lair set is on sale on Amazon prime (in the U.S.) for $55! I'm gettin' me one!
  20. This is great. I love all the SNOT, it adds details you wouldn't be able to with building it normally.
  21. Us LEGO fans are more attracted to a 71,000 piece Super Star Destroyer MOC over that any day, so eat that you AD CHOICE MORONS!
