Indeed some shops sell only like-new parts, so their used is for me the same as new. Some others sell secondhand parts, some with playwear, and after orders from two shops of the kind mentioned above I was surprised to have in another shop used parts that myself considered as "used" too (but still useable, so not a big deal). So at least two or three used levels (including a used "like new", to differentiate from the real secondhand) with their definition would be welcome. But of course not too much specifics, or else it would make too much work for sellers, who would not use the thing at all in the end.

It would be fine for me, as I still make 4-wide cars, like in the 80s, I use the big wheels and arches of current cars for buses and trucks only :D

From comments and tests there, it seems to also work on grey and blue bricks.

No, there was http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3936 & http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3935

I fully agree, I also liked these 80s towns with plates, and hence why I have many plates from that time... many of them bought recently secondhand just in case someday I have space to use all of them, as currently more or less the largest (temporary!) layout I can make in a cat-free room is that: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=85228 (using just a small part of the plates I have).

# 36 reported on that topic : http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85663entry1674966 That's the lowest found yet, right? (there was # 66 reported on a French forum, I do not remember if other <100 numbers were found)

The one you link on Bricklink has a grey 48x48 and a blue 32x32, but no blue 48x48 which is indeed a first. Like the green 48x48 was unique to the grand carousel.

Same here. I'll try to post a video soon. But I couldn't play much with it for annoying the cats: I should get new batteries.

I remember that when I built it I didn't put that plate, I rather kept it to put it with the spare parts

Nice :) I also made one some time ago: http://www.brickshel...y.cgi?i=3052126

That makes it even more impressive. I didn't know the bamboo part existed in grey, so at first I thought the B&W was only a photo effect.

Me too, I always liked a lot car transporters. We already got a few years ago http://brickset.com/detail/?set=6753-1 which I liked but here at city scale it is probably the first, except http://brickset.com/detail/?set=6335-1 which was race-dedicated

And if they yellow, they can usually be reverted to white using peroxyde + oxyclean cf http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7167&st=75#entry800639

I fully agree with that, that's my favourite set and the only town set from my childhood that I kept "as it" rather than disassemble and mix it with other parts

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine

I didn't even think to that one... I'll go add it to my bricklink wanted list right now -
Well there are reasons : vacation, living in an area where S@H does not deliver, problem with the payment (leading to cancelling the order, and then it is out of stock before you can place a new one)

As long as they don't re-use the frightening Belville baby... http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?v=2&pg=1&q=Belville+Baby&catLike=W&sortBy=N&sortAsc=A&catType=M

Imagine how many more than the current ~9000 would have been sold if they were still producing them at the movie release... But indeed the movie explains why so many are still on the road today.

Not especially 7.5 lbs ≈ 3.4 kg Mine was listed as 3.7 kg by TNT Post, for just one set. They often mention a weight higher than the actual one. The set weights nearly 3 kg according to Bricklink.

Number 02300, ordered from S@H from Belgium.

That wasn't an actual car, just a mock-up, hence why it disintegrate in parts when it is hit by the train (a real car does not do that). Original movie used three cars (one of these was cut for inside shots). I do not know exactly how many additional were made for the two other movies, but at least one was made on a VW chassis for the desert scenes with the Indians chase, and there is the mock-up mentioned above. I would guess that the one that runs on rails is also custom-built on a special chassis. -
I also want these olive tiles, they look great for roofs :) I already got the trans-blue tiles. Indeed it seems that these parts arrive in all the stores.
