  1. *n* It made me feel good to turn it off. but on the plus side, at least it's not rap :-X
  2. Yes, I have two rows of port holes. At this stage, the face ornate gundeck's port holes are a bit too low and they are not large enough for the cannons.
  3. This is all according to current scientific theories and I believe, is the most likely explanation thus far. First off, the only to mammals to coexist with dinosaurs were small marsupials and shrew like insectivors. Horses did indeed start off small, but by the time neanderthal and cromagnum man, they were virtualy identical to modern horses. I know of no such horse larger than those of modern draft horses. You could be mistaking a giant sloth (wich had a horse like face although not much bigger than the larger horses) or a giant rinocerous wich is the largest known land mammal ever discovered. The only instances of animal "downsizing" is when they are confined to islands. That is usually the only exception, wich is certainly possible but rare for lage mammals. ________________________________________________________ Prehistoric man definitely came in contact with mammoths, wolly rinos, Irish elk, cave bear, undomesticated cattle, wolves, and all the modern fauna of wild africa. Other possible contact with large land birds (up to 3 meters tall) sabertoothed cats, giant sloth, and Giant Armadillo. Many of the second catagory are from the americas and are thought to have gone extinct around the same time as the first humans reached the continent so it is uncertain if they interacted. The theory states that no individual organism is exactly the same as it's ancestors. I'm going to assume you mean least changed, therefor you forgot insects, fish (including sharks ;-) ) worms, many other reptiles, enchinoderms, cnidarians, conifers, ferns, and many more that have changed little for much longer than crocodilians. Now that the history lesson is over X-D don't let fact\theory stifle your creativity.
  4. My lego bricks already have enough bite marks. Wouldn't want to risk any more. :-D
  5. So.... are you enjoying the crane that you wasted your money on? X-D In all honesty, I don't like the sub being yellow either, but I would have choosen that sub over a crane reguardless of color and even if it had no crabs.
  6. The highlights for me are the mythical aspects. Even if the skellie arms are droid style the variety might be usefull in mocing somehow. The horse skeletons seems to have pleased everyone, i wonder how many of the horse accessories are compatable? I think the dragon is the best one since the oriental repaint of the origal design. Ogel wizard? :-X ... they had better change the face. |-/ Trolls/giants with clubs, ooohh I hope they flesh those out as brick builds. and as I said in the pirated post of this topic, there is a ship silhouette, let's hope this cog comes to light. Edit: the new pic has dragon that is too douplo looking. nooooo! I prefer the ghoul face to the slanted angry eye skulls.
  7. I think the avatar is a bit busy. I tend to think of an avatar as a painted portrait more than an action/on duty shot. and the in the Signature, the minifigs are too dark or the background is too light. The contrast is a bit harsh on the eyes. However, it's not that big a deal. It's fine, if you like it.
  8. I'll definately be using the skellies to crew my phantom ships. There has been some concerns about the arm configuration... sure they don't look as nice as the original, but the new arms can be posed. I'm thinking figurehead holding a weapon up and not dangling. I also like the look of the skull faces as much as original and both better than alpha team's slanted angry eyes face. :-X Turning skull castle into skull island? huhm.... why not. I've never been a fan of any of the large brick built skull designs so far. I've tried to moc a better one and failed :'-( so I've given up on the idea for now. Notice in the center of the image is white silhouette of a ship! Not that castle theme ships (cogs) have been convertable to the typical pirate theme, but hey, it's a ship!
  9. They probably contemplated making a more specialized plume and scracthed the idea at the last minute. They are long so they can be used as yard arms, esp. for lug sails... X-D
  10. My vote goes to SuvieD's monkey, because it's a beast of course!
  11. *wub* Another brick beast! What I like best about this beast moc is the hooved feet. This creature most resembles a prehistoric mammal called arsinoitherium.... anthropomorphized
  12. Are import games compatible? Specifically are Japanese games playable on the North American/US region machines? It might never be an issue, but if a Goemon game is released in Japan only, I'll be wanting it. X-D GOE GOE!
  13. an image from Legoland California. Another Hollywood Bowl moc. the actual Holliwood Bowl. It appears they make signifigant changes, depending on the needs of the preformances. 8-
  14. I too fear damaging lego by foot. It doesn't bother my bare feet so much, but I have a chihuahua, so I pretty much watch my step constantly.
  15. Add them to all system themes as brain sucking alien spores! *alien*
  16. It still gets about 1 post per month. I don't see a problem with posting on old topics anyway, especially when they contain such excelent content as these ship diagrams. Thanks for the link!
  17. I had enough money for 1 aquaraider and a 5 dollar bionicle, and I coundn't even afford that! I have other expences that probably should have taken precedence. X-D Bionicle!? you may ask. Bionicle is underated on system mocs, because it is difficult to integrate inobtrusively. I'll let you be the judge when I get some images up, of the lobster alterations, that is. Perhaps you meant, why buy new products before I bricklink for ship parts?....then, If I don't get new products while the gettin' is good, I my never get them.......get it :S
  18. OK... here I go! Instrument: keyboard/synthesizer/organ, banjo, pan flute, irish tin wistle, native armerican cedar flute, shakuhachi, pan flute. I also have an alto sax, bugle, jaw harp, cactus rain maker, conch shell horn, and a little experience with guitar. How Long Have I Played: In middle school I played the viola and trombone but not much after that. I have the most experience with the synthesizer(20+ years) and cedar flute(12 years), but I think my favorite is the shakuhachi(5years). It is quite difficult to master. Size: shakuhachi(bass A tuning), 88 key roland keyboard, the cedar flutes are all different -around middle range D I was never much on bands, especially school bands, because they almost never play the music I enjoy. The main reason for my first internet computer was for midi files. It is an excelent way to learn songs for piano.
  19. here is an image of that
  20. Ive been around. I've been moc modding the aquaraider lobster. unfortunately still no progress of the dutchman. :-| I do however have the dvd of said movie so I have a better idea of some of the details. And phred's design is great for it, although the center doesn't raise and lower. :-D
  21. phred!... that is one superb "windlass!" I'll have to do something like it for kraken summoning windlass on my flyin ducthman moc. Here is my simple working version
  22. The feel and layout is quite similar Dawn of Sorrow or Symphony of the the Night as an action rpg. You control and switch between 2 characters; Jonathan is weapon weilder with subweapons such as holy water, and Charlotte is a mage with several magical attacks. They can also preform dual attacks wich are the most powerful. Great soundtrack and good graphical effects... ie. explosions and magicks. _____________________________________________________________________________ Has Nintendo mentioned a connection to the DS via controler port such as gb advanced and gamecube?
  23. I'll get wichever Konami decides to release new Castlevania and Goemon games. That likely excludes xbox. They are of high probability releases for Wii, plus Wii has Metroid and Zelda! Until then I'll stick with Castlevania:Portrait of Ruin for the nintendo DS
  24. CRAB CRUSHER! I'm a crabby guy OK, but do you have crab parts?
