  1. I like a good majority of the design. I think the canards look just a little thin for the design but It looks awesome.
  2. Brilliant ship! I love the arch work in the rudder area as well as the detailing on the aft bulkhead. The coloring and rigging are also spectacular.
  3. I love the lines of this ship. The engine nacelles and cockpit just work well together. Great job on this ship!
  4. Is this still going on? I would like to start looking at this.
  5. Fantastic use of Greebles! There is so much to like on this bike!
  6. I decided to rework my baseball field to a different scale. I was having a hard time fitting that stadium on the Micropolis Standard so I think I will go a bit bigger but it still will be Micro as to try and keep the part budget somewhat achievable. The park will also not be a major league field but hopefully NCAA or MiLB A/AA size. This is still a WIP and would love to get feedback.
  7. I'm working on at Micropolis Baseball park. I want to see if I can get a three tiered stadium on this and add an interesting design of the ball park. Ball Park Study Size 1 by Benjamin Sarles, on Flickr Ball Park Study Size 1_Progress by Benjamin Sarles, on Flickr
  8. Here is my latest. I'll let you guess the inspiration for this quick build building. Scranton Business park by Benjamin Sarles, on Flickr
  9. Fantastic design! I love the technique.
  10. Here is my latest design I'm considering to build for BrickFair VA. This is a data center. I've seen a lot of them popping up in the information corridor of VA. To say the most of the architecture of the buildings is un-inspiring is to make an understatement. Most look like great brutalist concrete and glass shoe boxes. I haven't done anything to the grounds yet, haven't decided what kind of treatment it should get. Data Center - Roof Detail Complete by BSarles, on Flickr
  11. Thanks MAB. I'll try that out. I'm still learning how do do vegetation and the extra bits. I am happy to get all pointers and critiques.
  12. Here is the entire office park with parking lot. I think the changes you suggested LegoDr made a big difference. The changes make it look less clinical. White Office Building complex by BSarles, on Flickr
  13. Great job! I can't wait to see how this progresses. I love the hull shape. Any way to get some close ups of the bow construction?
  14. How many sections does it break down to in order to travel?
  15. I'm now thinking that this would be an office complex with three of the quarters of the block the same building with the fourth corner being a parking lot. What do you think? 16. Thank you for the feedback TheLegoDr. I'll take a look at those areas. I hadn't thought about using the studs to be the grass area. I'll also have to look into the foliage part.
  17. Fantastic work! I love the level of detail in this masterpiece.
  18. I love these designs. The "Condor's" hull is fantastic looking.
  19. Nice! I love how low this tank is. It will be able to take full advantage of terrain to deliver it's ordnance. Great design!
  20. Nice take on this model! I had this set in my hand and now wish I I picked this up. Great job. I also love your logo!.
  21. I'm working on a design a week in the micropolis scale and hopefully I will be able to pick one or two models to display this year at Brickfair VA. Please feel free to comment or suggests edits on the designs as I want to put my best foot forward since this will be my first time displaying at a show. This week I wanted to incorporate the rounds along the top edge of this building and I like the look of the "Wraps" along the front columns and over the roof. I'm not sure about keeping the poles in the back but I didn't have time to really work on that area this weekend. I like building at this scale because it's not a part's hog and it gives a newer builder more exposure to building techniques with out having the entire build designed around that technique. Again please feel free to comment on areas where I can improve. Micropolis Tower _White by BSarles, on Flickr
  22. Pretty slick looking. One of my favorite Star Destroyer variants, probably because it's such an impossible technology in my mind.
  23. There is so much to take in. This is a fantastic build. Does the base break down for taking to shows?
  24. This is a new building that I'm working on but I haven't picked what direction I want to go on the colors. I'm hoping to have the design finalized and bricks ordered in time for BrickFair VA 2017. I think I'm about 90% done with the building itself. I have the roof detailing to complete, plus adding more detail work but want to put this out there for comment. I have two working color schemes I'm looking at and would love to hear feedback on which one to go with. Option 1 Office Tower by BSarles, on Flickr Option 2 Office Tower (2nd Color) by BSarles, on Flickr The design is created in Bricklink's design tool called Stud.io . There is a lot I am liking about this software over LDD. Maybe I might write a post about another time.
