    Coming Home

The best part of a war must be coming home alive. That's when you are a soldier of course; a despotic Emperor like myself likes to have another war every day I very much like the concept of this entry and you did well on the execution
  2. I loved part one and I'm looking forward to the 2nd part. I'm curious to find out which questions you and TheBrickster have in store for us. There are a few in my mind that I hoping for in the next episode. You did a great job Captain Zuloo and a big thanks to Jamie for the very elaborate and detailed answers. I shall follow his advise and visit Billund next year in April (as our Eurobricks event will be in Billund) and maybe I've got a chance to meet him and some other designers next weekend at LEGO World (I'll be there on Sunday).
  3. April 15 - April 18 --> OK April 22 - April 25 --> OK
  4. Welcome at Eurobricks Ben!
  5. Good movie! And as Zorro said, it's sad he can't post it himself, but after getting a second chance from the staff he couldn't resist making another duplicate account pretending to be someone else. A line has to be drawn at some point.
  6. I agree that would be a nice to have feature, but I'm rather sure it's not supported in the Invision forum software.
  7. Nice review We have a special reviewers academy for training members into making standout LEGO set reviews. However, you don't need to go there because this review is perfect. As far as I'm concerned you could teach at the academy.
  8. The earlier the better! Those dates are all fine for me.
  9. Seconded! I can't make it on option 2 (April 29 - May 2), so please nobody vote for that one
  10. Wooow, this is great work. It looks just right for a medieval church (or pirate church ;-)). I'm very impressed and can't stop watching these pictures. I'm looking very much forward to seeing the full scene you are planning to build. As I'm planning to make some coastal structures in the future your work is being a great source of inspiration. I do agree with the remark on SlyOwl on the usage of the 1x2 grills in the walls. But that's something you can easily still fix.
  11. Congratulations! I didn't know that. As long as it's not the 30th itself because that's the only date that's impossible for me (our neighbors are married for 50 years on that date and I've promised to DJ at their party).
  12. The report is now also available in traditional Chinese thanks to our member CVSPIS CELIDVS. The traditional Chinese version has been blogged on TWLUG (Taiwan LEGO User Group). 13. I didn't hear anything about this via my official contacts inside TLG.
  14. Welcome! Being a ship builder myself I'm looking forward to seeing your ship. You can always post work in progress pics Moved to the right forum.
  15. I don't know what to say... this is a true masterpiece Besides the perfect shape and innovative techniques I find your color pallet fantastic. LEGO designers, come over here and learn
  16. Our member Klaus-Dieter started a petition for the return of the epic Western theme. You can sign the petition here. Your idea's for new western sets can be submitted here.
  17. I own only one Western set (the fortress) which is just fantastic. Often I've been thinking to buy the other sets to complete my collection. I think this theme still has a lot of potential and I would welcome a return. The time seems right because it's been 12 years since the Western theme ended. Great initiative Klaus-Dieter! You can count on my signature! If this petition can get a decent amount of votes (let's say at least 100) I'll make sure that myself or CopMike present the result to the LEGO Community team via our ambassador channels. Let's see if a bit of frontpage attention can boost this petition
  18. Thanks Brickster! I'd like to say a special thanks to you, the Eurobricks staff and the Classic-Pirates.com staff for reviewing the document and all the wonderful suggestions you guys made to improve it.
  19. No, that's a misunderstanding; making this report was a personal initiative. I will continue to take personal initiatives during my term as ambassador so we get the most out of it.
  20. I've just bought ticket for myself and Captain Green Hair for Sunday the 25th I'm very much looking forward to the BeLUG Pirates display.
  21. Granted! Welcome in the academy.
  22. During the month of August we've done a survey on Classic-Pirates.com in which you, our members, could share your wishes for the future of LEGO pirates. Although we've received sad news in the mean time of the discontinuation of the current Pirates line, our report was not a waste of time if you take into account the time it takes to develop a new LEGO set (= around one year). For those interested, I'm sharing the full report as it was send to LEGO in the beginning of September 2009. This report is based on your inputs that have been sorted in order of importance based on the number of requests for each idea. 23. This is really fantastic! The colors and MOC overall are great. This looks like a real fun place to hang out. And you've even included my favorite torso all times, the Imperial Armada torso with black belt . I never thought of using the new governors head with that torso, but it looks great. I'll give that a try myself.
  24. Tony, I can't think of any reason why your MOCs would be ignored. I sometimes visit Train Tech (not that very often) and find your MOCs amongst the best which I've seen in here. Not being a train expert, I do have a preference for American trains designs as our European versions often look a bit boring (the train which I take every morning is a good example of boring).
  25. Dear all, The Eurobricks staff has appointed 3D Brickthing to the position of Bionicle Leader. This means he will be the one running our Bionicle forum on a daily basis in close cooperation with the Eurobricks staff. He'll also be working on indexes, improvements, etc... Join me in congratulation him with his new assignment!
