Thanks everyone for the nice B-day wishes! I have no clue who all of you are with the name changes Yeah, I just woke up and I'm wondering "why the hell did I drink so much?". Captain Green Hair came over this weekend (he's still sleeping ) and we went to several bars drinking whiskey and too much beers. But the hangover is not too bad, so that's already a nice B-day present. The good Captain did bring me a cool present. Here I am with my leather jacket driving my Cadillac.

Thanks for sharing these pictures Joey! A visit to the Victory is very high on my to-do list. It really sucks you couldn't see the stern and access certain parts of the ship. I'm hoping those repairs will be over by the time I go there myself.

It must be wonderful to live in a historical town like Zadar. I think it's the logical choice for you to recreate parts of your city with Lego. I very much like the gates and especially the ornaments you've added. This brings back some good memories because I've spend the entire month of July in Croatia and stayed on week in Trogir (which is pretty close to Zadar).

Well, please do. Else I'll lock this thread because pictures wider than 800 pixels are against our forum regulations. So is joining our forum while being way below 18 year, but I'm trying very hard to look the other way, so please fix the pics.

I know August is not yet over, but I think you had enough time to share your idea's for the future of LEGO Pirates. I'm closing this thread and start processing all the information. Thanks everyone for your contributions!

Please do add pictures like maydayartist did in his post if possible. Or include a picture of a real life example (e.g. a particular type of wig) to help visualize what you have in mind. Also clearly separate each suggested item and the defensive case that goes together with it. You can always edit your post and add more information (pictures, new suggestions, etc...) . I prefer that over making a new one.

Emperor, you have to write at least a few lines of defense for each suggested part. For example, there are already golden coins, where is the big added value to have them in silver/bronze? I'm not saying there is not added value, only that you should defend and motivate your request. You might have to give it some thought.

This is your opportunity to share your idea's for new LEGO parts. Please describe and motivate each suggested new part and be very clear why it would be useful and a "must have". You should write at least a few lines of defense for each suggestion, the better the defense, the more chance someone at the LEGO Company will be convince to produce it. Don't ask for new train wheels or airplane wings because I'm Classic-Pirates.com ambassador. Each serious and well defended case will be relayed by me to the LEGO Community team who'll deliver the suggestions to the right people in the LEGO Company. Don't start making up idea's just for the sake of it; it will cost me time to relay these idea's so think hard and long before suggesting. Please note there is no guarantee your ideas will be used and you will not be credited or receive any recognition if they are. By posting in this thread you agree to these terms. Two frigates? Have you been drinking Sir? More serious, the one above is my frigate L'Orient. It is scheduled for destruction because it's one of the first ships I've ever made and looks kinda crappy next to more recent work.

The problem has been reported by myself and several other ambassadors. I've also added a subset of quotes from this thread to give them an idea of fans feelings about these quality issues. The LEGO Community team has reported the issue to LEGO Quality and is waiting for feedback.
