Wow guys, my hart bleeds from seeing these pictures. I've seen this mighty ship several times in her better times at Captain Green Hair's place, it's sad to see her in this shape. It looks like someone hit her inside the power chamber and she blew up from the inside out. I do hope that you will be able to restore her back into it's former glory. It might take a bit of time, but I'm sure you can do it. If you didn't live so very far, I could come over with the captain and we could restore her together. I'm sure we could get her fixed on a long evening with some good beers to assist us.

Petition: We want the Pirates Advent Calender in the United States
Bonaparte replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Last year we also had 2 advent calenders , city and castle. This year we have city and pirates. My guess what it means? Next year we'll have city and "something else" which will both be available in the US. -
Petition: We want the Pirates Advent Calender in the United States
Bonaparte replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Here's the explanation I got from Steve Witt: Last year when the castle advent calender was not available in US, D2C (Direct To Customer) people tried to get in on the pirate one for this year but the development frame had already been set and they therefore lost their opportunity (this was taking learnings from the castle thing). They are on time for forecasts this time around so in 2010 this shouldn't be a problem. -

Petition: We want the Pirates Advent Calender in the United States
Bonaparte replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Yes, this petition thread has been delivered already quite some time ago to the LEGO Community team. But I fear there was no way to still make the Pirate advent calenders available for the US market. I do hope you guys have luck on Bricklink/eBay or know someone who lives in Europe. -
This look like a very fine creation. I'm looking forward to the pictures so I can take a closer look at it.

The staff is having a private chat with Chuck (Chewk) to settle some things as he was a previously banned member. I'll leave this thread open and we'll see how our chat goes.
-
Let's discuss this matter first in private. EDIT: We'll give Chewk one more chance and see how it goes.

Classic-Pirates.com Report: The Future of LEGO Pirates
Bonaparte replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Yes indeed, I wrote the initial version and then had it reviewed by several people including our Governor Mr. Phes, several staff members and some people who blog on Classic-Pirates.com. Our member CVSPIS CELIDVS even made a Chinese version. -
Our contest master SlyOwl told me voting starts tonight!

Is EB still an exclusive adult site?

Seems our staff and ambassador have more to say on this topic so I'll re-open and see where it goes -
Is EB still an exclusive adult site?

Anyone who can't post and contribute in a mature way has no place here. And since all questions are answered I'll close this -
Is EB still an exclusive adult site?
Bonaparte replied to The Crazy One's topic in Forum Information and Help
We will always be a site for a mature audience. I know people of 15 and 16 years old who are mature enough to be here, whilst others are not. The Eurobricks staff reserves the right to decide if someone is not mature enough by looking at the way they post and participate on our boards. -
Let's have a chat Zerrick because this is your 3rd account...

This is definitely one of the better PTV2 entries I've seen. Great landscaping job for the coast line and nice integration of the walls and town with the landscape. This looks very realistic, almost like a picture taken from a real town!
-
This is another masterpiece Derfel Cardarn! One can only look at all the pictures and admire all the beauty and details of this marvelous creation. This coastline, vegetation, tavern basement, tavern garden and especially the beach surrounded by rocks are just a few things that I absolutely adore. And because you are not entering this for PTV2 I can frontpage this without favoring anyone in the contest.

I finally had some time to look at the entire fotostream on Flickr and I'm very impressed with your entry Captain! First of all, the idea and story behind this MOC is very unique. But the way you've executed your idea is even better! You've included so much details all over the place, it's hard to see it all by just looking once at all the pictures. You have a talent for MOCing and I'm sure this isn't the last amazing MOC we've seen from you. Next to the actual MOC, you've done a great job of presenting it with some fine pictures.

Anno 1701, her majesty whole proud almost done
Bonaparte replied to maydayartist's topic in Pirate MOCs
My dear maydayartist, this is exactly the kind of MOCs that I had in my mind when we came up with the idea for PTV2. I don't think that a ship build in progress has already been depicted in a MOC, and certainly not with so much beauty. I'm totally in love with your entry! It really looks like it's all in motion, the men are cutting the tree in into parts, the piano is put into the great cabin, ... . And all this surrounded by a lovely town with a beautiful waterfall in the background. Your a master! -

Is was so fortunate to see this church in real life at the BeLUG event of last Sunday and to speak with the friendly builder This is without doubt one of the best churches which I've every seen. Nothing is boring about this building, the walls are a piece of art, full of details and color variations. The tower looks just right and very well resembles the towers of the churches you see in most Belgian towns (like my town). The nice interior with the big crosses are the finishing touch of this masterpiece.

Thanks for pointing that out. I've adjusted the frontpage post. Btw, awesome figs

This is a very refreshing design! The shape of the ship is awesome and especially the new hull technique which you invented is a great achievement. I'd love to see some close up shots of the stern and a picture taken along the side of the hull. Details, like the fore-castle going slightly upwards, tell me you've been doing a decent investigation for this MOC.
