It all happened on a quiet Saturday, 17th of December 2011: Eurobricks reached 20.000 members Instead of this being a boring 'congratulations topic' you can instead let us know what made you become a member on this site. We want to hear where you found us, what made you sign up, how often you come to this site and how you like the experience of being part of our community. The discussion topic is here.

Don't miss this important announcement about Lord Of The Rings on Eurobricks.
-
With the Lord Of The Rings theme being officially confirmed, the Eurobricks staff has decided to put this new theme in the "LEGO Historic Themes" forum. This means that it will not go to the "LEGO Licensed" forum and the ongoing discussion thread about Lord Of The Rings is now moved to "LEGO Historic Themes". "LEGO Historic Themes" will get a sub-forum for our very successful community castle build "Guilds of Historica". More details and discussion are here.

"LEGO Historic Themes" will get a sub-forum for our very successful community castle build "Guilds of Historica". For those interested, here's our reasoning: - LotR is probably replacing most normal Historic themes, so the Historic forum would be left without a new theme for most of LotR's run if it doesn't get LotR. - We're all fans of LotR, but the Historic Themes frequenters probably have most of the largest fans, so there would be less point in redirecting them to the Licensed forum when we could put LotR where the biggest fans already are. - LotR fits in well with the existing "Historic" LEGO themes because most of them involve non-factual aspects such as dragons and magicians. - Our "LEGO Licensed" forum will be just mighty fine with its own spankin' brand new Super Heroes (Marvel/DC) products of its own for next year, so both forums will be filled with exciting news, discussions, set reviews, and MOCs based on their respective product lines. Very happy to see this finally confirmed. To prepare myself I'll start re-watching the 3 LOTR movies soon No doubt this line will have awesome figs and accessories. I only hope the overall set designs quality (and price range) will be more like Prince of Persia, and not like most of the Pirates of the Caribbean sets.

No, not really because you can't store any pictures on ReBrick. You can only link to picture here on Eurobricks, Brickshelf, etc. Of course we prefer our members to link to a Eurobricks topic when sharing something on ReBrick.

I think you did an amazing job building this ship. If this is your first real MOC then I can't wait to see what you'll be sharing with us in the future. You made a very nice version of the Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion adding a lot of new elements and details all over the ship. Also you know how to present your work (nice backdrop, cool site with 360 degree rotation, etc.) Any more projects you have in the pipeline?

Fantastic, this MOC really 'feels' like Egypt! Do you have a better shot showing the inside of the Pyramid? It's hard to see from these pics.

I just made a ticket with our server provider asking them to investigate on their end.
-
I do not know at this moment what the issue was (is) but I do know there wasn't a resource issue reported in any of the logs on our server. If this issue persists I'll contact our provider to get their view.

In theory a LUG could make such a rule, but in practice I personally haven't seen that being done. To be 100% sure I suggest you check with your countries LUG before joining.
-
You need to be part of your countries LUG (or one of them in case there are more) and basically they will take the orders from their individual members.

Great news for AFOLs and all LEGO fans: the LUGBULK program will continue in 2012. LEGO has announced the new LUGBULK 2012 round and send the rules to the LUGs. Participating LUGs now have untill the 15th of January 2012 to fill the Master Data Sheet and a full list to show they fulfill the requirements stated in the rules. If there are LUGs that didn't get the email from LEGO you can email them at lugbulk@LEGO.com. Discussion in our forums

Reporting a post is ok, but no need to reply to it and create additional 'spam'. Thanks!

Never heard of that name... what I posted was a copy/paste from an email I got from LEGO so they seem to use the term "LUGBULK".

Hey, Your pictures need some resizing because the maximum which we allow on our forums is 800px x 600px (larger pics will load extremely slow for those without a super fast Internet connection). If you need help, check the tutorials in my signature. Thanks!
