  1. Welcome! Feel free to visit us during our EB event which will be in... Denmark (see announcement somewhere above on this forum)
  2. Stunning! Soo much color, soo much action and beauty all round
  3. Looking forward meeting you in Billund Christoffer! You are our 30th confirmed eventee
  4. Those 2 holes you see behind the figurehead are toilets. But the question remains how this would go on anglezoo's ship with such a 'closed bow'.
  5. Aha, well, if you based your ship on one with a closed bow design then no need to consider a change. I must admit I didn't see many ships yet with such bow, but your pictures are clear proof and examples they exist. But I do wonder where the crew will go for peeing and that kind of stuff as the toilets where normally down there...
  6. The lines of this ship are spot on, I love it The only think I would change is this part at the bow: That should be more like this IMO, now it doesn't look right: See what I mean?
  7. Nothing but respect for such an amazing undertaking. I have a hard time finishing my minifig illusion scale ships, but doing it in full minifig scale requires a lot of dedication and passion. And the result is fantastic all round. I've been to this thread a few times since you posted the new pictures to have another look at this amazing ship under construction.
  8. Nice! I added your name to the eventees list
  9. Of course you can! Hope you find someone where you can stay.
  10. Looking forward meeting you and your missus! I'll put your names on the list with the remark you'll be taking care of your own accommodations.
  11. Looking forward meeting you again Erland! And of course you are welcome to bring some of your LEGO colleagues over for some drinks in the evening. Cool! Tell him you'll be much more productive once you had a relaxing trip to LEGOland
  12. I'm very glad you are coming Sne! You are most welcome!
  13. We're counting down to the 10th, 11th and 12th of May because that's when our annual Eurobricks event takes place in Billund, Denmark (LEGO Headquarters). Those who have already been to our events know it's a guaranteed fun time with other AFOL, famous builders, forum members and even LEGO celebrities! If all of this sounds like a dream coming through you should definitely join our event. More than 20 Eurobrickers have already signed-up, but there's room for more! All information about the event is here. That's also the place were you can ask questions or chit-chat about the event. Signing-up can be done here. See you in Billund!
  14. An amazing talent you have for building microscale. The containers of the first ship are ingenious!
  15. There was also Shadows who made the rest of the skin (background, buttons, etc.). Rufus -> Banner Brickthing -> EB Logo Shadows -> skin This was really an international team effort
  16. Hope you have a nice day Whitefang. And I wish you many more years with us on Eurobricks!
  17. Please don't quote an entire post with lots of pictures without a very good reason. Use the reply button, not the quote button (there's a difference ).
  18. I have this to get rid of: Complete with instructions and box, but I lost the sticker Build once. Complete with instructions and box Build once. I'm planning to put this one on BL soon as I noticed it's worth some nice bucks these days.
  19. I have a feeling there will be a Theme month... soon...
  20. About a week ago Eurobricks, Brickset and several other LEGO fan sites started supporting a Modular Western Town on CUUSOO. This helped a lot as more than 2000 votes were added, now reaching a bit more than 4000 in total. The Minecraft community managed to gather behind one MOC and push it to the required 10,000 in a short time and I'm sure that we, the real LEGO fans , can do the same. If you didn't yet VOTE please do so now. But maybe more important is sharing this MOC via your Facebook/Twitter pages and encouraging your friends to help out. You can do this by clicking (->next you get the option to share on Facebook) and right under the vote counter. I had a look at the projects that are doing really well (and those reaching 10,000 votes) to find out they had massive support via Facebook and/or Twitter so that seems to be an important factor. The creator of the MOC (Marshall_Banana) has added a poll in our forums where you can vote for your favorite building. The building that comes first out of the poll will be recommended to LEGO to be produced first - we're thinking big and hope the success of the first one will convince LEGO to release them all over time.

  24. Next time this is happening, please do this: 1/ open a DOS window 2/ run the command: tracert 83.169.34.155 Take a screenshot of the output and post it here. Next, do the same when the EB is running smooth. This should help to determine if this is a server or connection issue. I'm leaning towards the 2nd as I'm not experiencing these issues.
