  1. Congratulation to the winners I really enjoyed the entries for the MOC competition. The top 3 of them are all awesome and those prizes are very deserved!
  2. I've rewritten first post of this thread based on the feedback I got from the chalet responsible. All answers should be there! Have a look
  3. Very impressive and beautiful ship And I'm so surprise you managed to build it with such a tight budget.
  4. I'm checking this with the camping responsible. Checking that one also.
  5. While it's still some time in the future we have reached some decisions concerning our next annual Eurobricks event. The confirmed dates are 10-12 May 2012 and it will be the heart of the LEGO universe: Billund, Denmark. We plan to stay in a nice bungalow park near a beautiful lake only 5 minutes walk from the LEGO factory, offices and park. The reason for deciding some of this so early is to give people a chance to plan for the trip, request holidays and keep their agendas free for these dates. If you have not yet come to a Eurobricks event then the next one in Billund is a great one to start because it will be AWESOME! You can find more event information here where you can also indicate if you plan to come over or ask questions. We'll only share a rough overview of the event agenda upfront (like we do every year) and the rest we'll disclose when you are there. Those who have come to previous Eurobricks events know the kind of awesomeness you can expect At a later time we'll open an official sign-up thread.
  6. Good news: we have been doing some checks with key people at LEGO to make sure our dates are fine for visiting Billund and it's all So the dates are fully confirmed and fixed!
  7. For me this is working fine. Suggest you start by cleaning your browser cache and next restart your browser.
  8. Thanks to our member yys4u for bringing us a link to a German toyshop that has official Hi-Resolution pictures (non watermarked) for the upcoming 4184 Black Pearl set. Find discussion and link to the shop (with all the pics) here.
  9. Closed, at least temporary till we sort some stuff out
  10. You are right, it doesn't seem fair. If S@H doesn't deliver to the country of a winner, then the prize won't come from S@H. We'll work that out when the problem presents itself but I can see a wide range of solutions.
  11. Not sure I get the first part of your question, but if you win category 1 or category 2 you get 200 Euro for spending on sets at S@H. If you live in the US (for example) you choose your sets on S@H (select US country) and convert to Euro using http://xe.com to make sure you are not exceeding the budget. If S@H doesn't deliver to your country (suppose you live in Zimbabwe) we'll work something out, no worries
  12. Impressive to see the combination of microscale and minifig scale work so very well. I've seen it done a few times before, but yours is one of the best I've seen so far.
  13. I just love the colorful caps and the horse decoration! Hope everything if fine with your leg now.
  14. Very nice entry Matn! It's not easy to make a hut like this and let it blend in with a jungle like you did. It's one of those MOCs that look pretty close to the real thing if you can ignore the LEGO studs. I'm very impressed by this entry!
  15. That's looking pretty good, but I'd love to see the beasty from a few more angles.
  16. Yeah, I can change winter into summer with a few clicks on my keyboard
  17. I wish I was part of an AFOL couple, but my wife couldn't care less about LEGO or LEGO forums, so now I'm brainwashing our son! Good to have you on Eurobricks, AFOL couples are cool
  18. You are right, but it's fixed now
  19. One from each and 30 grenadiers please There's so much good stuff in this series like Cleopatra, the graduate, the gladiator, evil dwarf, grenadier, a new monkey, a violin case, gladiator sword, ... I only hope the grenadier red torso doesn't have the issue of the red color showing a bit through the white printings (belt) making those look slightly pink. Thanks Whitefang for this awesome and informative review. We all have seen pictures of these figs before, but it's soo much better to have your detailed shots and all your background info to discover these series of collective minifigs
  20. This is amazing I can't believe you pulled this off!
  21. Welcome at Eurobricks! Fact.
  22. Awesome stuff! What are those green caps? They look like those oversized caps the Sovjets were wearing like this one:
  23. For example, I don't remember seeing Johny Thunder on top of this sea monster
  24. There's so much things in your pics I didn't notice when I was there Thanks for posting these
