  1. I've been adding some more details about the program to the first post of this thread. And I found out that a new attraction, Atlantis Submarine Voyage, opens for the first time on the 20th May 2011 in LEGOLand Windsor
  2. These special country numbers look really great Now it's getting very close and thank God that naughty volcano stopped putting bad stuff in the air.
  3. Aha, a LEGO mom Welcome in the reviewers academy!
  4. Only 8 days before Eurobricks will invade the UK for our annual event. We are staying in a hotel close to London (Windsor) and you can find all info (program, hotel address, etc.) here. We are happy that next to the 'international eventees' a lot of our UK members will join and we look very much forward meeting them! DAYS TO GO!
  5. Access granted for the both of you! Have fun reviewing
  6. I think Pally or Captain Green Hair have more details on that. They are working out a detailed planning for our London visit including the train info. If they don't stop by here soon I'll get in touch with them to check. We need to sync up anyway this week for the final arrangements.
  7. According to me there's a train from Windsor to Heathrow. Done
  8. Mobile number provided You have my number (or that of CGH), so we can get in touch once you are there to share our whereabouts. Yup, it's getting pretty close now I'd be great if you could still make it. It should still be possible. The ferry (we're going from Dunkerque to Dover) is very cheap. We paid 100 Euro for 4 person and car (http://www.norfolkline.com/ferry/). And as it's a big hotel I'm pretty sure there are still rooms. If you want you can give the booking agency a call and have them check. It's probably easiest if you drop by the hotel and hook up with the rest of us before going to the park. I case you don't find us, you can sms me to see where we are. I just noticed the park opens only at 10am so I guess we'll stay in the hotel till roughly 9am30.
  9. Probably more details will come. But maybe easiest is we meet in the hotel in the morning (which is pretty close to the call center IMO) and we go to the call center together. Let's see if Copmike can give an indicative time when we are expected at the call center, but meeting in the hotel at around 8u30 should be very safe in any case. I could provide you my mobile should you have trouble finding us.
  10. I'm going to London on Wednesday with my travel companions (CGH, Pally and his brother) where we'll visit some stuff by a strict schedule. CGH and Pally are working this out based on one of our Skype calls. You can join if you're ok with the places we'll visit (some museums and some monuments, I don't remember by heart what we were going to visit and in which order but CGH and Pally know the details).
  11. Our D2C contest is over, the winners are known, prizes are shipped, so now it's time to show the winner in full glory with box art The MOC is made by Yatkuu while the box art is by Pixel Fox. More pics and discussion are here.
  12. Closed because this is a duplicate topic (already being discussed).
  13. Great Mike, I'm glad our visit to the LEGO call center is now confirmed!
  14. Send me a PM is you want my mobile number, so you can always SMS or call to get our whereabouts. I'd rather not share it via the public forums.
  15. We all stay in the same hotel (address see first post) and we'll leave each day from there. The presentation on Friday will be in the hotel also. I guess that after breakfast we will try to leave the hotel in group. I estimate that will be around 9h-9h30 each day. If you send me a PM I can give you my mobile number so you could SMS me if you like to know where we are on a certain moment.
  16. There are no costs involved except entrance for the park or Windsor castle if you want to join for those parts of the event. If you join us on Friday evening you can join the presentation (at 19h) which is in the hotel (so no cost involved).
  17. Hard to believe it's only 16 days. And since I'm going a bit early it a few day less for me... can't wait for the fun to start
  18. The Friday should be fine since no park on that day and it would be great to have you on Friday evening to discuss some idea's with you. Most of us will leave on Sunday morning after breakfast. For me that will be around 9am since we have a long day traveling back (car -> boat -> car).
  19. The location of the presentation/workshop (Friday 19h) will be in the Sunningdale Park hotel at Windsor. I just added that info in the program (first post of this thread).
  20. Update frontpage... right... and done
  21. Super! You are very welcome
  22. days to Eurobricks' event # 7 in Windsor!Holodoc has started his traditional event countdown :-). Members who live close to Windsor (UK) can still come over for an evening or a day to meet us in real life. On Friday evening (3rd of June) there's a special presentation in the hotel covering many topics (Eurobricks, the online community, The LEGO Group) with 'special guests'. Find all info about the event (program, hotel, ...) here.
  23. Yup, that's the reason IMO. It's nothing fishy, no worries
  24. I'm very happy the voting went smooth and fair! The 3 entries that won are amazing and all very suited to become real sets. Thanks to all who participated and congrats to the winners. I'm sure we'll do something like this again on Eurobricks
  25. Friday evening (around 19h) is our special Eurobricks presentation (by Copmike, myself and special guests) and discussion. That's something I can recommend
