Thanks all for the reports. It's annoying this isn't yet solved, but Hinckley took nice traces during this new period of 'down times' which are now being analyzed.
-
The output from Hinckley's has been analysed and a modification has been done. Now we need to see if this will help or not. If not, then we'll take more 'traces' and the investigation continues.

We'll arrive around 17:00 - 18:00. As for the weather, keep an eye on this link. -

Voila, everyone coming to the event now has a place to sleep. It took some behind-the-scenes work, but we managed to get there -
I have filed a detailed error ticket with our provider. Let's wait and see their feedback.

Check your PM -
I'm checking the logs right now: - VPS Resource logs: no problems reported. Next are the database and webserver logs. EDIT: no issues found in the database and webserver logs... I have an idea for a solution, but first I'll try something else.

I must have missed this interview when it was released. Informative and funny, great entertainment for a Friday evening Does Stauder know the image in his sig has a huge typo?

Give one of us a call (Copmike, me, anyone) and we'll pick you up.

We have a first activity on the Thursday starting at 9am (at the LEGO offices). At 10am till 11:30am we will be in the LEGOLand Village conference room for the 2nd activity of the day. LEGOLand village should be walking distance from the Camping I'm told (which is good news for dropping your luggage!). So at least you'll know where to find us. About the trip from the airport to the LEGOLand Village, it's about 4,8km (15min drive one way). My first suggestion is that you take a taxi which shouldn't cost more that 10 Euro. Alternatively I or someone else can come over, but that would impact the 2nd activity and potentially impact the schedule (we are one a rather strict schedule on the Thursday).

When does the plane arrive? That'll be important to know so we can check where we'll be at that time according the program.

The link is fixed now

Congratulations to Big Cam, our new Admiral For those not very familiar with this rank, the Admiral is both a Pirates moderator and the one in charge of the Classic-Pirates blog. He's pretty much responsible to keep the engine going for the pirates forum working together with Mister Phes and the Pirates Moderators/Regulators. The rank was previously held by our dear Zorro who is now moved to a new honorary rank called "Fleet Admiral" with a nice new tag designed by Mister Phes. You can have a look at this new rank/tag here.

Sorry you can't make it. Hope to see you and your family again at a future EB event! -
That a perfect summary of the EB staff position when it comes to CUUSOO. It's worded so well that I've added this in our site guidelines. Also I plan to make a site announcement in the coming weeks to make sure everyone knows our position.

Sad news Etzel I was hoping we could fill another chalet with 5 people so those not yet booked can get the cheapest possible price (dividing the cost by 5). But seems that was wishful thinking on my part. Anyhow, a spot just opened in chalet 2 (for which I'm the chalet responsible), so I suggest that you PM Etzel and switch places with him. That way Etzel can get the money back which he payed for the chalet and you have a place reserved. But that means a solution is still needed for few other people ... -
I'll start a PM conversation with the 3 of us to talk about Brickmania.

The Prince of Wales has been seriously updated and rebuild. It'll be part of a sailing ship battle diorama during the upcoming Brickmania Event, so I decided it was time to give it a serious update. Major changes: - New decks (now they are tan iso grey) - The sides of the ship are now completely smooth while before there where some 'jumps' at some points Smaller changes: - New anchors (brick made) - 4 extra cannons on the deck (chasers on the bow and 2 more in bow section) - New flag (historical correct) - Many deck details (bell, etc.) and a full crew - New ladders in the sides of the ship (more historical correct) - All railings are now with tiles (no more plates) to make it look more smooth - A lot more rigging and ropes all over the ship - The ship is now carrying 2 rowing boats I'll take pictures of the battle diorama and later I'll do another photo-shoot only of the Prince of Wales II. The diorama at Brickmania will also contain a new ship that took around 2 years to complete (a French frigate - 24 guns) which will also get a topic once I can take decent pictures. This new ship is again a co-build with Captain Green Hair and several others friends who helped during a number of drinking/building sessions.

How is this project progressing dear Admiral? I'd be most interested to see an update.
