I'm glad you re-discovered LEGO again and started with a nice historic theme like Kingdoms. Next step is to get you do some "MOCing" instead of just building sets. Check out our Historic Themes forum and the 'Guild of Historica' subforum (inside of History) Oh, and you should find a Viking ship to buy. That goes so well with the stuff you already have. Every town needs vikings to do some pillaging and plundering

Thanks for reporting. It seems not as bad as it was, but still the problem appears. I'll ask if Hinckley can take more traces, but as these need to be taken when the problem occurs he didn't catch these outages. In any case we have two more actions planned to prevent this, one being a server upgrade 2nd half of May.

We'll have breakfast in another place (somewhere in a building inside the camping), but dinner we'll have in exactly the same place as last year (in the LEGOLand village where we stayed last time). We have a special deal with the LEGOLand village: we take our dinner in their restaurant and in return they give us 2x their conference room for free. You are right about the camping and the village being very close.

Try to search us with Google (type in eurobricks.com and some keywords). I always search on EB with Google as I never found the built-in search option from Invision very good. Recently Invision did some tuning of the our board - because we had some database outages because of heavy load cause by the search function - with people with many posts doing complex searches on their posts. One of the 'tunings' they did was to cut search results older than 1 year. That's the drawback of having a database it >1 million posts. All topics are still here, nothing is deleted or removed!

Time for a few practical arrangements: On the Thursday morning we all gather in front of the camping reception at 8:15. We'll spend a few minutes explaining the program of the day and next leave the camping 'in group' to our first visit where we are expected at 9:00. We'll go there by using the cars, but in case there are not enough cars to fit everyone we'll have to drive twice - so be on time because you don't want to miss this

Seems the 'late check-in question' is a recurring one, so I've contacted the camping (email) to ask when the reception closes. I'll report back (hopefully tomorrow) when I have their response.

I suggest you drop the camping an little email or give them a call to check. I don't expect any issues with a late arrival (unless late is very late ).

No, they are not. This problem is annoying and we hope to find a solution. It's first priority of the admins. Please keep reporting, it helps me to get an idea of how our 'changes' are helping to fix it. When this happens it's deep in the night for me, so I rely on this thread (and my friendly assistant Hinckley for taking traces when the problem happens). EDIT: Analysis of the new traces is done and a number of things are changed. Please report back after the next 'problem window'... fingers crossed.
