  1. Do you have a doctors note?
  2. Welcome at Eurobricks! I resized a picture of the pumper and added it in your post. Would you happen to have a picture with some minifigs inside the pumper?
  3. I'm very happy you made this tutorial !! Paint is a program that everyone has on his PC. So from now on, nobody has an excuse not to make torso's ;-) I've been thinking of adding a pinned topic below the "Torso library" that contains links to tutorials, color charts, ... . Basically all the info that's needed to make torso's. Now that this tutorial is available, I'll be starting with that. If you have any idea or suggestions, let me know!
  4. Seems like your coming out of your dark ages! You won't regret it when you buy the Black Seas Barracuda. It's one of the best Lego sets ever. Welcome at Eurobricks!
  5. I didn't notice that yet. I just added this tutorial! Thanks!! Should we move this to the Library of Honduras?
  6. I'm considering to buy one of these. Can someone tell me what exactly is glued in these chess-set minfigs? I guess this info is somewhere in the discussions-threads of the other chess sets, but maybe someone knows this by heart.
  7. This poll is an excellent idea Hinckley !! This subject has already been touched in the "What is wrong with me?" thread, but we never had some figures. I've voted: There's room in my heart for both! Seems like nobody (at this moment) dislikes the new Cafe Corner style.
  8. It's never too late ;-) Thanks for translating. I had hoped it contained coordinates for a hidden treasure. Maybe you are not giving us the real translation and want to keep that treasure for yourself :-P .
  9. We do, but this ship is not yet finished (and we are restriction the indexes to finished MOCs). We had a look at the "Spanish castle" but since the minifigs are a rather wild bunch, decided not to add it. Thanks for the suggestions! Keep them coming...
  10. This is great news! I'm all exited about this. I'll start saving money for these Indy sets.
  11. I used this opportunity to add an entire new section on "Ship Types" in our Wikipedia Index.
  12. It must have taken a lot of time and patience to make the rigging like you did. But the result is worth the effort. Especially the lower part of the rigging (starting from the hull) looks very real. I guess this is how all the rigging will look when you are finished?
  13. I don't believe that my reasoning for making the indexes as they are has been explained, so here it is: The links go to the BS-libraries because this way they can all be the same (since not all MOC have a thread in the forum). So one reason is uniformity. Another reason is because this way they are "forum independent". If something happens to this forum (e.g. the database is lost) I still have a backup of all the indexes on my PC and they can just be posted again once problems are solved. They will work again even when (in a worst case scenario) all threads were lost. Hopefully this never happens! And there is always the "search tutorial". It's only added in the larger MOC-indexes (but I should add it in all of them). With a few clicks (just by following this small "tutorial"), you can find ALL the thread in which a MOC was mentioned or discussed using the forum search function. Indeed, often as MOC is mentioned in more than 1 thread as a comparison or reference. B.
  14. This horrible monument was "donated" by the Dutch. Mr. Tiber, you can have it back now X-D
  15. Welcome at Eurobricks Henrik. Enjoy yourself!
  16. Well, it seems that historical accuracy was not really the prime concern of the organizers. Napoleon and his staff were standing at about 200 meters from the castle of Hougoumont on the English side :-D . Jep, that's indeed the Lion Mound. I added that picture because that's what most people associate Waterloo with these days. Personally I don't like that monument. It changes the original terrain of the battlefield. Here's a closer picture: Yes sir! I executed him and his entire fake staff. The reincarnated Wellington still lives because is had to drive home with him :-D.
  17. As a source of inspiration for our torso designers, I've posted a selection of pictures from my visit to the Waterloo battlefield. I took these pics today, as it is one day before the 18th of June (Waterloo anniversary). Here you can see all those beautiful uniforms in real life and maybe someone still finds a uniform that's missing in our torso library... Let me start with some pictures of the (now peaceful) battlefield: Dutch and British troops marching to the battlefield: British defending the castle of Hougoumont (on the right flank of the English): British inside Hougoumont (left) and Dutch just outside the castle (right): Old guard (left) and wounded British cavalery (right): A fake Napoleon with his staff (left picture). The real bonaparte is in the picture on the right (right person) X-D. The other guy in the picture on the right (left person) is a reincarnation of the duke of Wellington :-D .
  18. A link on CP? That's a good idea... Just added one ;-)
  19. I've added the new torso's in the library. That's an excellent idea to bring all these video's on one page. I'll be watching them all! Btw, tomorrow I have my annual visit of the Waterloo battlefield. They will replay the battle around Hougoumont. I'll try to take some pictures and post them on the forum.
  20. I know what you mean. The Market Street set and Caf
  21. For someone who is not a graphical expert (like myself), this looks just perfect. Really, this is a clean and professional job. Like Lego would do it!
  22. The Czech Republic has 5 stores on bricklink. I would start there. If they don't have what you want, search the BL-stores in the neighboring countries to keep the shipping price as low as possible.
  23. And that's why you are our " Chief Torso Designer" ;-)
