  1. The pirate mods have been trying to make a description of a CUSTOM. So we all know what belongs into the new Pirate LEGO Customs forum. Here it is: A creation that is "self-made" and can be used in combination with official Lego, or modified official LEGO parts (like modified cutlasses, painted parts, custom bayonets for muskets, torso decals, modified body parts). Also discussions about "Customs" should be done in the Pirate LEGO Customs forum. It's not perfect, but I hope the idea behind it is clear.
  2. If this wasn't in the US, I would certainly place a bid. But the price can change a lot in the last seconds...
  3. Now the arms look a bit strange because they are completely outside of the coat, but I guess that's always the case with a coat... Anyway, you could try something like this (in black or brown) to make things look more natural. That's up to you, but I'm not against it ;-)
  4. What do you mean with war? Would that be land army? And what to do with those decals that are neither of those? Like Napoleon (head of army including Navy), Czar Alexander, Islanders, ... . Maybe we could only do this for the Britain and France categories. I do agree we might need more structure as the library grows. I'm not sure yet what is best. Need to think...
  5. Your King Achu reproduction is brilliant! Is looks identical as the official version. Thanks !!!
  6. This ship (which is part of the index) looks very much like it. But I'm not certain if they are the same ship. I don't see the white at the bottom of the hull and some details are different.
  7. I'm a fan of the Durmstrang hull. It looks very good, but it would be even better if it was a bit longer. Is the hull in one piece or 2 pieces? I think it will be very difficult to extend it with bricks anyway (because of the form of the hull). Does this ship have an interior? Some close-up pics of the ship (and interior) would be nice.
  8. I did see your thread and looked at the pictures. But for some reason didn't comment (yet).
  9. Very nice topic oo7 !! My vote goes to the Durmstrang Ship because it's hull is so very useful for a small pirate/imperial ship. I plan to buy one in the future when I can do a good deal.
  10. Ok, that's all done. That's the 2nd time you gave me a lot of work in 1 day Mr. Norrington. Can I ask a favor? If you make new torso's, can you add (at the end of your post) the links as they should be in the torso library (so I can just do copy/paste). Also make a note in which category they should go. Will make my life a lot easier. So I don't have to ask all these questions ;-).
  11. Where should "The Phantom" go? Each of these have several designs (5 and 4). Which should I keep? The last in the list of the library? Pooped Pirate by Norrington Auctioneer by Norrington
  12. So, what title do you suggest for this new "Category"? And which of your decals should be moved to this new "Category"?
  13. Well the decals from the PotC ride might be in the right place (under POTC). Bu does the Haunted Mansion attraction have any connection at all with PoTC?
  14. Thanks for the Mameluke! I'll try that one on some minifigs. Btw, is this torso already existing? It goes well with the Islanders.
  15. You are giving me a lot of work Mr. Norrington ;-) Are you certain these belong in the POTC part of the library? Is this Disneyland attraction based on POTC? Just double checking.
  16. Added to the torso library! Maybe the French Napoleonic navy? But I guess we still haven't found any good pictures of those...
  17. All remakes and color variations from a torso (from the same designer) are put on 1 line to keep the torso library a bit manageable. Else the overview will be gone as the list will become very long. All your new designs have just been added in the library.
  18. This is another torso that is very useful as Mameluke soldier, but it's not yet available. The Mamelukes were part of the army of Napoleon. Would it be possible to make this one?
  19. !!! BREAKING NEWS !!! We have a new forum for all customization related topics: Pirate LEGO Customs. As the description says: Custom Pirate LEGO mini-figures, parts, sails, torso designs, decals and related graphics. I've started to move all the topics related to customization from the Pirate LEGO MOCs-forum to our new Pirate LEGO Customs-forum. If you think a thread needs to be moved to the customs forum, just put a link in this topic and we'll look into it.
  20. Those are some big changes. Congratulations with your baby! I always thought you lived in Germany. But now that you mention "neighboring state", I guess you mean a US state? That's funny, I'm also working on a Carribbean Governor's Mansion. It's actually a rebuild of one of the new creator sets. Here is the thread with some progress pictures: The Governors House. I'm curious to see what your version looks like.
  21. Very nice!! Seems very maneuverable. I like the orange-white colors and the lines of this ship. I do agree with Asuka on the position of the pilot. Looks like he has put the ship on auto-pilot and is taking a nap ;-).
  22. Sir Scott, I'm so happy to welcome you again on this forum! You were one of the first to supply our torso library with custom pirate torso's and I always hoped you would return. I really like your new designs and have added them in the library. Have you done any ship building lately?
  23. Let's make it official, your are my favorite girl on this forum !! Thanks for making these torso's, I've added them to our torso library. We are still missing 2 Imperial Armada torso's. Here they are:
  24. Excellent work!!!! These will make some great additions for our torso library. But before I add them, could you make a separate .jpg-file for each torso (and the face)? Some rough guidelines for the torso's in the library are: dimensions: 360pixels - 300 pixels resolution: 600dpi - 600dpi
  25. I would also really want to see some pictures of your army. Especially of the Mameluke's. I've been thinking of buying some extra of these.
