I hope the box is just like that. I usually don't keep the boxes... but that one looks nice. It looks amazing, I need to practice my sticker applying skills. -

So the parts used as turntable and in the bucket wheel are the same but do I see a version without teeth? Also I might be wrong but the motor dos not look like an XL to me -

I guess there is no turntable and the new parts can be used for that. -
TLG might set the bar quite high this year. The Volvo is pneumatic which in itself makes the set relevant beyond its part count. The Claas got new wheels. The BWE is big and potentially a very interesting model. The IP Car might be an 8880 successor If everything is as good as I expect it to be, next year will hardly be as good as this one.

Looking at the efforts Blackbird and the others are putting on it, the hard and expensive it is to get the parts... For the 40 anniversary I want TLG to license Akiyuki. models and begin a new GBC Theme. Release 2 sets per year on a 6 month cycle. or something like that....

The Megablocks is from 2011, it will be really surprising if in the end TLG releases a silver Ultimate Porsche 911 GT3 RS Looking at how awesome that looks I think I'd like a big model with a few very specialized parts for a perfect bodywork, but with a full Technic chassis. Kind of a modernized and highly detailed 8860 and a RC bodyword over it. + With new buggy motors and RF remote, that's it.

I doubt licensing a Lego car represents any meaningful price difference and from a marketing standpoint it makes a lot of sense. Not every licensing is the same. For example, there is only one Star Wars, you license it or not period. However sport cars... there are many brands and Lego does not make so many models, it may represent such a great marketing tool that it makes more sense to ensure your competition does not get access to that tool than to try to hike your licensing fees. Modeling a real car is harder than modeling some random sport design, you are bound to a certain shape and thus quite limited in your options, it needs to be recognizable. Luckily that affects exclusively to form not function, so I don't see licensing causing any limitation in that regard.

Do you want to focus on parts? The Arocs, Do you want to focus on PF? The Volvo. Do you plan on modding them? If you already got the Unimog get the Volvo, completely different kind of modding,. otherwise get the Arocs, lots more of possibilities, closer to the Unimog. Do you Plan to get another big set in a year of before? Get the Volvo now, the Arocs later.

It's amazing guys how the lack of news don't deter you from speculating and this thread does not lose steam at all. From the first post I see that it is still Volvo, Claas, BWE and U. IP Car, apparently being the car the bigger one. So for those of us who didn't chew over the 100 pages Is there anything else confirmed, like relative size or price range? Is correct the first post order, the Volvo the smaller one?
