    I have chosen a store design from the town of Millicent....deep south of South Australia. It's a slightly later design, say 1950's but it will fit New Mannum if I chose to display it......mostly I will. I have also selected some of the merchandise.....thanks to the Friend's series....yellow kitchenware and pink fashion accessories.....I'll have to order replacements in case my wife want to play with them ! If this joins New Mannum layout it will sit between the Mitre 10 and Landmark stores.....the real store has a hardware store on it's right hand side. Any suggestions are very, very welcome.

    Actual this size truck is useful for refuelling diesel tanks on farms or transport depots....the hose issue is still a problem for the tiger.....sounds like a MOCing challenge for myself again !

    What surprised me was the amount of detailed building in it.....totally different from Belville....in fact more complex building in some cases than city. These sets have been selling out every where and girl's still also buy city sets too......Friend's totally has it's place in the Lego universe.

    Thanks 'scott', it was quite easy to make the strip on the side of the truck.....now if people are wondering why there is a blank spot between the tank and pump assembly....that's so the crew can stand on top and fight the fire while the truck is slowly cruising though the danger zone. Oops, I forgot I find and buy some cheap fire ATV's just for the torso and leg parts......better look for them today or tomorrow.

    Only the crew now..... I must wait now to buy a fresh ink jet cartridge so I can make the CFS tags for the backs of their uniforms. A bull/roo bar I will still try and design....but I can't block the headlights though. Keep watching !

    Thanks 'Rufus' for this review, great truck design but I have an issue with a few things........one is the hoses are on the wrong things.....the thin hose goes on the pump and the thick shorter one on the truck just like they actually did on the 60002 fire truck and the second is the pump it's self.....what realistic design is this one based on ? Well at least the truck's good eh ?
