I have city and super heroes, my son has HP, POTC and of course what must kids are in too......Star Wars. It's more like me keeping my hands of his Lego collection !

More cab work done.....still needs it's back and that water pump.....time to Goggle Image again. I still must put hand rails on the sides of the cab.....plus more 1x1 white bricks....oops.....now that pump....oh, well I like a challenge.....suggestions ?

Thanks 'gazumpty' and 'monsinjor', just a quick update on two fronts......100 fires still burn in NSW if which 15 are still out of control....the worst is not over yet....more hot weather coming today and over the weekend. The second front is a w-i-p shot of my new CFS truck...... I still have half the cab to do plus the water pump......so keep watching !

Thanks for everyone's comments, my CFS truck MOC is coming along, cab half done and the tool/equipment storage almost complete. As soon as I have that done I'll post a progress image. Oh, by the way 'Eurotrash' I'm using one of the new forest fire fighters with an old school white fire helmet. Keep watching !

Thanks 'Legocrazy81' and 'Legonardo', I wish I had better news but it's just being reported another out of control fire is in Victoria. So what can I do next in this topic.....open to suggestions of course fire related, perhaps I can use in New Mannum.....i haven't MOC built a fire truck for about two years now (trying to keep Ricecracker pleased). Edit - perhaps I might start scratch building one of these....

Thanks, sadly more fires are becoming out of control.....it's expected that homes will be lost. Edit - The Hume Highway.....the main highway between Melbourne and Sydney has been cut by a wildfire. Edit 2 - Now 29 out of the 124 fires in NSW are out of control.....cool change expected only on the coast after midnight. Edit 3 - NSW RFS have confirmed during a press conference that there are 130 fires of which 40 are out of control in NSW.

Watching the 24hr news channel seeing that today could be the worst in Australia's history....over 40 deg.C temps and strong winds across the east/south east of this country with wildfires are raging across New South Wales(124 fires, 20 out of control), parts of Victoria and Tasmania.....I chose to make a short but simple MOC in honour of those heroes to fight wildfires to save people, property and livestock/wildlife. It's title is simply....Through smoke & flames..... At least no one has died yet but the worst is to come....maximum temperatures have not been reached yet and those winds across NSW will blow in soon. It may be the most downbeat creations I have made, but it's to honour the male and female fire fighters many are volunteers.

Very true, when I went into my dark times I went into HO scale railways and building of course buildings....customizing them as well.....though that lasted about 3 years tops.....electronics took over. . And then when I found myself exiting my dark times.....my old habits came back.....more to come.....so keep on watching !

Yes, actually much better now I can work on things into the night if I wish.....my wife does like some Lego she has three collectable minifigs in her room with her favourite being the pink haired punk rocker and she also likes the winter themed stuff plus some of the city stuff......as long as she likes it ! Had to change the key cutter slightly but yes, did you notice the foot grate in front of the supermarket door.....I forgot to do that months ago. I need to start planning that police vehicle....eh ?

If they are outside of Oz then any of our state or federal consumer laws are not enforcible. I guess not buying from that particular company again might be only thing you can do, but then again if they do have an Australian office.....then which state that is in....well try the consumer affairs department in that state.

Really, "The Great Story".....a little uninspiring isn't it, but still by the looks of what previews we have seen it might be so good as Ninjago. I've just sent an email to CN here in Oz to find out when this series will air here.
