Thanks 'Andy D' for your comments and you know 'scott' it's easy to do raising that section but I don't want to go to high so the minifigs can't get at equipment stored away there. I used the 2010 fire station truck as a chassis base and built the whole new cab, etc., on top of it. Keep watching.....something's might be changing !

Thanks for the feedback everyone, actually the molded bull-bar I was thinking about but I feel impossible to do.....maybe a simple bull-bar like the one used on the forest police dog van perhaps. I just noticed on MrToys website that the elite police set with Chase McCain in won't be available until the 23rd of this month.....I have been told there are two deliveries to Lego resellers this month.

I'm using forest fire fighters ! Our bushfire season has just started and there is more hot weather coming over the next two weeks. Trenches...no, back-burning....yes......plus prayer ! Keep watching everyone.

Are you talking about this......... Oh, that was almost three years ago......no it doesn't exist anymore and there isn't room in my current layout for a fire station, or police station or ambulance one neither I'm afraid. In the future there will be but right now no, I have to my paperwork for Railshow this week and submit it. More of the fire truck gets done today.....I'll see how far my parts collection stretches eh ?

It's not only Lego, but major retail chains.....take Kmart here in Oz.....sets that they have had only six months are on clearance and they still carry the 2011 police station but cleared out the 2012 police station ? I'm wondering about 2013 if sets will stay for the whole year or only half the year....like 7993 service station did, though it made the odd now and again return for the next year and a half here in Oz ?
