    Thanks 'Kristel', I have the likes of 'ER0L', etc., for the inspiration for this the first of a new series of creations.......though New Mannum is not to be forgotten as there will be at least one new and unplanned before today structure.....an original one too.....but that is for another day......as I've been bitten by the art deco bug first ! Keep watching !

    Thanks for the positive vibes everyone and those aren't bottles.....they are oil cans....more typical of the 1930's gas station forecourt fare. My other new builds will be coming forth next week.....so keep watching !

    Let's hope the designer has kept the car carrier all in correct proportion in respect to height vs. width of the truck.

    Perhaps that's the idea.....coffee cups on his head is meant to make him look foolish.....though it also proves a point that one Lego part can be used in different ways.

    The question could also be asked about model railways, model cars, model boats.....even stamp collecting.....simply Lego is like those other hobbies I just wrote about there......age is no limit, only one's imagination and/or interest are the limits.

    Actually it's a bit like TS3 and with that theme the best seller was the train.....of course the best seller with Lone Ranger is of course the train.

    I would say open backed, but including Bart's bedroom and living room plus maybe the kitchen.....but that's just my guess.

    We have had a few medieval taverns and modern-ish warfare.....gee, Man Of Steel and of course.....Indiana Jones ! Licensed products seem to get away with more for the fact it is licensed and some of Lego's deciding process is taken away from them. It all depends on how the first wave goes, and then we'll see if we get any more sets.

    Now once you have the instructions.....you could order the parts in the colour you chose say from Bricklink and build it the colour you want.
