Buying some of my minifigures in a rush and getting so many extras because I convinced myself I didn't need to double check Yes, yes yes yes! I have so many small sets I bought thinking I would use them to populate my city, but the money I spent buying a bunch of small cars, I could've used to buy an actual building for my sad excuse of a city! I also regret missing out on the 2013 city square because it was a thousand times better than the one released this year, does anyone else feel that the 2013 version is far superior? Maybe that's just me but I really regret it!

Thanks so much for all the feedback, it really means a lot! Are you referring to the standard male piece? If so, I think its because not a lot of figures have been released that would require that piece. Funny that you'd mention hair pieces not fitting into aesthetics, Lego has a habit of releasing plenty of inaccurate hair pieces in the superheroes line!

So I made a purist Gamora based on her comic incarnation (not her Marvel now suit) its not amazingly accurate but I tried my best, hope you guys like it. Screenshot_2015-11-28-17-38-57 by freddybricker, on Flickr I also gave Drax some pants that resemble his blue pants that he wears in the comics, of course, I could've given him real jeans, but I decided he'd look cooler with designed pants 20151128_182114 by freddybricker, on Flickr and another shot of Gamora: 20151128_180731 by freddybricker, on Flickr Please feel free to criticize and express opinions on these 2 figs, hope you all enjoyed, I see some really great work here, you all have great talents in making original figures!

So I noticed that on flickr, the share button no longer allows for you to choose the BBC code, it only gives you the url box and the option to share to social media sites (Facebook and what not). Please help!

Thanks man! I made a purist Gamora figure that I wanted to embed but the flickr tutorial that this site has doesn't seem to work well with the current flickr layout.. if that makes sense. Could any of you instruct me on how to embed a picture, for those of you who know how? Thanks!

Hey guys! I haven't been online in a while and I was wondering if people have started posting links rather than actual photos. Was this because of a new rule that was implemented or have people just sorta changed the way they present their pictures. Just wondering, sorry for the inconvenience!

That trailer was sick! So very excited to watch it in theatres, that Black Panther shot gave me chills. Now if only we could see what the sets look like...

Favorite/Least favorite/most wanted licensed minifigure?
Freddy Bricker replied to Zoshi's topic in LEGO Licensed
Favorite licensed figure so far is probably either Oola or Marge Simpson, least favorite easily goes to Storm. The design team made a pretty lazy decision reusing the black widow hairpiece on her and and I wasn't a huge fan of her face print either. My most wanted would have to be a comic version of Starfire with a puffy hair do that reaches down to her legs and has a translucent orange-yellow tip, I would of course, want a modest version of the figure, one that would be considered appropriate. Oh and a New 52 Stargirl fig, make that happen Lego!- 25 replies

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion
Freddy Bricker replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow it's been a while, so very happy to be back! Anyways, I have a lot to say, starting with next years BvS sets. First off, the minifigs. I am so in love with that Gal Gadot WW fig, she looks awesome and colorful and tough and pretty all at the same time, really am loving that fig, Superman is also a pretty cool looking fig, Batman is pretty nice looking too. Still not sure why they reused that hairpiece on Lois Lane, I personally don't think it's very fitting. The Sky High battle set was a nice attempt at recreating the Batwing, and I'd be lying if I said I could do better, however, I expect Lego to up their game on designs like that, and quite frankly, I don't think they lived up to my expectations, which is fine... I guess? Not very happy with it but my opinion won't really change how the sales go so I mean there's that. I saw the Mighty Micros and I hope all the kids like it, because I know I sure don't! Not only are the designs lazy, but the minifigs are all repeats, what exactly where they going for there? Hopefully we get summer sets because it always seems like DC gets a small amount of sets imo, does anyone else feel like that? I always get the impression that DC always gets one wave and Marvel gets 2, and DC gets most of the D2C's, but they always go to Batman.... which makes me not like the Superheroes line all that much sometimes. Here's to hoping for some Teen Titans and more Justice League sets! So that's pretty much how I feel about next years sets, hope I didn't sound too crazy (again, what I said about DC not having that many sets was probably hilariously inaccurate and probably me just being a cry baby over Lego not reaching my unrealistic expectations). Happy bricking!- 8,446 replies

List the Female Minifigure Leaders
Freddy Bricker replied to Mister Phes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It'll be the City's giving tree. I'm sure many will have their fondest childhood memories there. -
Ok, you got me there, these rooms were the most visually appealing of my experience. The other upside of them being so easy is that I get to rebattle them and raise my Pokemons level up.On another note, does anyone here actually use Pokemon Aimee (is that how it's spelled?). I do and I love it, entertains me while getting my friendship levells higher. I was curious to know since most of my friends don't use it.

What is the best £/$ 20 superhero set
Freddy Bricker replied to Peasantseverywhere's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's gonna have to be Superman vs. Power Armor Lex for me. No Batman, no ugly vehicle (I actually really like the Mech), and 2 of my favorite comic book characters (Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor). This is basically a Justice League set, and I hope it'll set a trend for future DC sets to come, since I'm about ready to drop the line after I get the Asylum.- 18 replies

Duh! What was I thinking, I meant Gen. 7 You should give it a go, although this Elite Four was annoyingly easier than previous games.

Drew Goddard (director of "Cabin in the Woods" has been confirmed to direct the Sinister Six film! I'm on mobile, but a second Guardians of the Galaxy trailer has been released, focusing on Star Lord. Those of you who watch the Amazing Spiderman in Imax get to go home with a wicked poster (wish I could link to that as well) Captain America: The Winter Soldier was incredible! Just throwing that out there. If you guys are curious though, all of this news and more can be found at comicvine.com or Google.

Yeah, I'm also having trouble enjoying myself post-game. The story was annoyingly inconsistant and needed to be more coherant. I was also annoyed by the lack of new Pokemon, only 69? Really? Hopefully this can all be fixed if and when Gen. 6 comes along. And congratulations on 500 posts!

You have some serious talent here Catanas! Your depiction of the Rogues is my favorite of your bunch and must say I would love to see what you could do with Harley Quinn, or even better... Poison Ivy? This thread could have a million pages and I would still read through them all. Congratulations on such fine work.

Great job here! I don't like Mixels, but the flexibility of this MOC and its design is phenominal.
-
Hopefully the Lego group learns from this, though. Seeing what they did with Guardians of the Galaxy lets me know that they could do a lot better with the X-Men, they're my favorite Marvel team after all! As for comic though, I put Spiderman over them anyday.

Wow, can I just say that these sets are spectacular? Didn't want to buy more than just the 2 Avengers sets this year, but these will be pulling me into the Superheroes line again! I'll be the first to say that I love the build in the Nowhere escape set, and Nebula will be highly anticipated (though I know that this is a shared opinion). As for the Milano, the seating arangement is great and I love how contary to Star Wars ships, the "cockpit" is connected to the rest of the ship, and can be walked through. Actually, I'm starting to think the Milano has no cockpit. Either way, I love all of these sets. The fact that Gamora, Drax and Starlord all have dark red on is making me think that the Guardians will all be wearing uniform-like outfits. As for that ugly Sentinel, wasted back of a vehicle, and terrible minifigure selection and design that is known as our 2nd X-Men set since the beginning of this line, all I have to say is: see ya later X-Men. Really wish more work would've been put into this set, though I think I'm in the minority, or at least the vocal minority.

So today I decided to pick up the first 3 issues of Rogues Rebellion, and gotta say that I understand why the demand for these guys to get their own series is so high. Funny, new, and easy to understand, it's a damn shame the series ended. Here's to hoping we get more villains titles after Forever Evil. Then again, along with Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Lex Luthor (sometimes) and the Talon Mary, I don't consider the Rogues to be villains.

So I've been listening to what has to be the best song on Paramores new album. That's right, I've ben listening to "Part II". I even put it above "Last Hope" which must be utter perfection, right? I'm really enjoying their new album, it's been entertaining me for months now.

We were set to get 3, then at some Toy Fair an attendee was told they had 4 GoTG sets ready, though many speculate it was a confused tour guide who meant 4 Marvel sets, which would make sense, since at the time this was reported, the X-Jet wasn't revealed yet.
