  1. Very nice! Out of curiosity, how did you recolor the parts? Paint, spray paint, dye? Whatever it is, it looks incredible!
  2. Interesting, out of curiosity, how does the fig light up? Does it have one of those hideous protruding button's on it's chest, or this they hide the button somewhere less conspicous?
  3. I give you, the dubiously sane scientist's lair! Mwahahaha ! Once he used to be a normal scientist until; the accident that blew out the second floor of his lab. Forced to wear glasses to cover a beauty mark, he swore vengeance upon the scientific community and installed purple mood lighting! Oh, and he strapped a laser gun to his cat. But that's a different story. Mwahahaha ! For more pictures, go to (http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream) PS: This is one of my first times attaching an image from flickr to a post, so if I messed up the size, let me know and I'll shrink the pictures Thanks!
  4. I saw some of the MBA kits in a Lego Store near Toronto about a month ago, but the prices were ridiculously high.
  5. When driving your motorcycle on Tatoine, remember to always avoid the random flaming vegetation in the deset
  6. Looks nice, though for some reason it reminds me to the 70700 space swarmer ( http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=70700-1 ). Maybe blacktron got their hands on one and modified to suit there malevolent ends ? At any rate, it looks really nice, the 8 sided engine and weapons array in particular
  7. I can't wait! I'm already working on an entry so... Mwahahaha!
  8. Nice Work! Those curves look great, as does the weathered effect!
  9. When robots with brains begin to wear bowler hats, you know it cannot be good...

Looks nice! Personally I like the greebling in the second one, I love the idea of using a minifigure scale lightsaber hilt to make a full size one.
  11. Oh goodness they are horrifying . Why would anyone would buy these?
  12. Apparantly this set uses a new mold for coins that was only used in the POC sets until now. The numbers seem thicker than the coins I'm familiar with.
  13. Nice review! The number of each letter is a bit odd though. I might pick one up, or I may try to get some of those letters loose via bricklink.
  14. Very nice! I really like the use of the Galaxy squad eggs as rocket boosters, and I can't wait to see how they look as feet!
  15. Great design! I love the ridged design on the arms, it's very well done!
  16. Excellent MOC, love your sense of humor . All the little details like the crow and the little pieces of costume make this MOC so excellent!

  18. These are some really nice sets! Just wondering though, is the motorcycle from the lemonade stand a new mold, or an old Fabuland part? It looks like Fabuland based off of how large the area for the feet is, but I really don't know. What do you think? At any rate, I'm looking forward to getting one
  19. I wonder how much this had to do with the new management; hopefully it's not a sign of things to come. I really think this is a bad move on the part of Bricklink, they're alienating the community by trying to make their catalog strictly their property, and they're giving their competition Brick Owl free publicity (I hadn't even heard of Brick Owl until now, and I'm now considering putting a store on it ). Hopefully this is just a one-time thing, and not a new policy for Bricklink.
  20. I've been working on a MOC of Hal 9000 from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. I've done all I can think of but I still get the impression somethings not right. I've used a fiber optic tube and a light brick to illuminate HAL's eye, stickered HAL's screens, (Tried) to make a Frank and Dave, but something still looks off to me. Specifically, I am trying to re-create HAL from the curved living quarters of the discovery (where Frank and HAL play chess). It should technically be slightly curved, but I straitened HAL out as the curve of the room isn't as noticeable in the small section where HAL is. Any ideas? Something that I overlooked?
  21. Thanks for the great review! It's a shame about the distribution rate, I was really looking forward to getting grandma and the tiki warrior. You'd think that the TLG wouldn't stoop to such low tactics as lowering the distribution of some of the best figs to raise sales; especially considering the popularity of CMF . On the bright side however, the blacktron mech seems better than I hoped, and I think the welders helmet could make an excellent robot head.
  22. Great review! Unfortunately, I disagree about the set. I think the printed parts, box, instructions, and mini figures are great, but I think that the stepped hood, combined with the small roof and sharply angled roof-supports ruin the front end of the DeLorean. However, if someone mocs the set so as to fix that problem, then I'll probably buy it. On a different note, a VW scaled DeLorean seems like a really good idea (particularly if it comes with power-functions and can accelerate to 88 miles per hour ).
  23. Hi, I'm Ian and I'm new to eurobricks. I mostly make small mini figure scale MOCS, and I sometimes dabble into steam-punk and minifigure customization. I'm looking forward to sharing my MOCS, getting constructive criticism, and learning new techniques. I've been reading eurobricks for some time now, and I am only now taking the initiative to actually get registered . I'm looking forward to participating, and hope to contribute to eurobricks .
