  1. Ha, aw, thank you! I hope they don't disappoint! Mark Stafford definitely did a fantastic job on the Cybermen. I absolutely admire his version. I still can't get over that Aragorn's leg technique! It's truly amazing. Honestly, my one pales in comparison to something so ingenious! Yeah, the tennis ace hair is close, but honestly, for me it's more about colour than style. I can overlook the style, but the colour will bother me to no end. That's right, it is the lone ranger legs! Sorry I didn't reply earlier, only saw the reply now! ;D
  2. Haha, thanks! Now I have to go make the ACTUAL creations for them. *cough**cough *cybermantomb2nddoctor*cough**cough* *godcomplex11thdoctor*cough*... excuse me, I must be a little sick or something. ;) Sorry, I didn't realize until after the fact that the sonic was covering a lot of his body. You definitely have 80% of it down. The thing on his waste is actually two modified capes, a shortened version of the dark blue mini cape (achieved by cutting with scissors, usually I'm against modifying unless it works well) and same deal with the long red cape, after which I lay down the red and cover it with the dark blue one, and tada! I just wish LEGO made 10's hairpiece in light bluish grey, it would work SO WELL for the War Doctor. I really love Mr. McGann's audio costume. Seriously. I mean, I've got three different outfits, but I got Dark eyes 2 yesterday, and I really love these stories. I wish they would have used the outfit in the prequel for The Day of the Doctor, but nonetheless, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out! Although I've got to admit you're aragorn idea is brilliant!
  3. Hehe, here we go! I would've prefered Bilbo's torso for 4, but I don't have any and I'm still waiting on the Bricklink order...
  4. Nothing from DC's selection really impressed me this year, so I don't really have one for this category. MARVEL: X-men vs. The Sentinel. This was hands-down as many have pointed out the best set of the year. The selection of minifigures blew me away (Storm is phenomenal, as are Wolverine and Cyclops and Magneto), the jet is very well built and well worth building, and the sentinel is fantastic. Although I had to wait a couple months before I could buy the set on sale, it was so worth the wait. Now the trouble is finishing my X-men moc... ;D
  5. Thank you my good man! It's a regular piece, Captain Barbosa's torso from Pirates of The Caribbean (the Isla Del Muerta). I changed it, however, to the same one you used quite a while ago. I'll post it tomorrow! :D
  6. Here here! I was really disappointed when she didn't die. She's such a boring and repetitive character now. I would LOVE for a male companion, especially a sassy gay guy, imagine him in contrast with Capaldi's narcissistic, crabby Doctor. Oh the laughs... Otherwise I would've settled for the short-haired blond chick with the dunkaroos (I think her name was Shona?) who was lonely on Christmas from the special. Man, I felt so sorry for her when I saw her all alone. DOCTOR GO FIND HER!
  7. Hmmm... let's see.... LEGO... no, not that one... LEGO... LEGO.... um... did I say LEGO? The topic is besides LEGO, yeah? Welp, I've got nothing... Haha, jokes aside, I definitely have a reading hobby (well, addiction at this point, up to 2 books a week!), sports (especially hockey, Canada at the juniors son!) and as dumb as this may sound, learning. The Khan academy online resource is an amazing tool for learning all the things high school would never teach you and the universities here will never offer you unless you have the money. Money is pretty tight, so aside from those and LEGO, nothing else really.
  8. 8572-1 - Bionicle Tahu Nuva. So much nostalgia, one of the best birthdays ever, something so satisfying about hearing those ball joints snap into place as I readied the Toa leader to do battle against my collection of Rakshi.... 9450- Ninjago Epic Dragon Battle - an incredibly well designed set, one of the few times I've ever built a set and never stripped down for parts. Well, not the dragon anyway ;) IT'S JUST TOO EPIC! :P
  9. Oooh, good one! Love the engine!
  10. NPU!
  11. That's so brilliant, well done!
  12. Jared

    Canadian Eh?

Hah, beat me to it! Yeah, they've got 2015 sets.
  13. Very nice, you've got a lot of the same ideas as I do! I've made a really good 12th Doctor, but I'm not sure I'm ready to share the secret yet... need to make a moc this week before I upload him! ;D
  14. Much, MUCH better!

    Galactus

    Nice Fantasticar!
  16. Haha, my Spider-kitty could use a crime-fighting pal, and with a lack of Bat-kitty... ;)
  17. No worries, they're waaay before my time too. All the best things usually are.... I was born too late LOL! Thank you for such a lovely comment! I'm kind of sad, I thought this post would be more popular... :( Oh well, guess I'll just have to try harder! Also, here's a picture from the install today:
  18. Very nice, but I think you may want to work on getting the feet a tiny bit more compact. Nonetheless, amazing!
  19. Very nice, but the wedge plate on the arm really bothers me because it's quite bare... all in all, amazing job though!!
  20. This is such a great one, fantastic job!!
  21. Love the use of the chain pieces!
  22. Very nice with LDD!
