Well let's just say i've been in the same spot when i joined nocturnus a few months ago. Some things about the developing story still elude me, but i decided to make a sigfig and create a story so my fig becomes part of nocturnus eventually. (my building speed is dead slow lol) I created a vampire sigfig, and my introduction to nocturnus was that a avalonian graverobber woke Lord Mortis up from 500 years of slumber. The vampire decided to venture outside and that's where i'm currently at. I am building for the next part, the trip to the church where some of his servants rest. (a lord needs his loyal servants, without he is just but a man) The choice for the nocturnus guild was simple. The monster fighters theme was what got me out of my dark ages, and the theme fits nocturnus very well. As to bricks, well i also got some LOTR and Hobbit sets and i have alot of grey bricks. Parts i don't have but need for the build, i order from bricklink.

Yes, i am using a tripod and the most succesfull shots are on timer, that's how crappy this Nikon coolpix 3100 performs indoors! Really should invest in a good camera, but i did have some good shots with my Samsung Galaxy S3, allthough its lacking to say the least. Atleast the Nikon makes sharp macro photo's, in the right light conditions. Well i have been debating an upgrade ever since i got out of my dark ages, so it's due to get a bloody decent camera. @ ch_ris127: Thank you!

Wow, not just the temple but look at those palm trees! Oh and those tulips too! (the arabs introduced tulips to europe if i believe correctly) Great stuff!

I'd say you should try building brick built animals more often! Nice wings, and the rockwork on the base is also nice! And you are not the only one that makes crappy pics, my digicam is so horribly outdated it takes 30 shots and maybe 2 of them are good enough!

Oh wow, just to read upon this review while i have scavenged the pet shop set for parts today! Put to some good use i guess, and some remaining, oh well. Personally i loved building the pet shop set, both houses have something that is just nice in a modular street. Totally reccomend them if you are looking into modulars. So far i have grand emporium, pet shop, and town hall. Out of all the three this one takes the cake!
