Heroica RPG - Quest #40: The Strivvian Job
CMP replied to Scubacarrot's topic in The Heroica Archive
Atramor stows his weapons, glancing over the loot. "Don't envy whoever ends up downin' that slime. Let's just divy up this stuff and head back to sleep, I don't wanna be caught without any ether next battle." -
I think the enemies have been pre-made, and the number of them is dependent on the size/skill of the party, but I'm just guessing based on the Butterfly Fields. I hope I'm right, because it would help a ton planning trips into the Fields.

Yeah, I think Sealed should prevent the enemy from using special damage, judging by its corresponding scroll. "Boomin'ham, put me first in the order. If I land a hit, it'll take double damage from ya'll." -

Oh, that Special Mirror. Atramor catches the gaze of the Ghost, and finds his body frozen in place, in a pose not unlike Boomingham's, midway through an attack - though, unaware, his eyes also take on the soulless stare of the undead creature, returning its unforgiving eye, which McCafferey seemed somewhat curious about. Before much more than a minor sense of terror can overcome him, however, he finds himself stumbling to the ground, inhaling a strange green mist. Evidently Ellaria had had far more luck than the rest of them, as Boomingham and Rufindel were getting to their feet as well. The only being in the room still incapacitated, ironically, was the Ghost - and Suffering had a strange glow around him as well. Atramor blinked at the spirit. "...Damn. Great job, Ellaria." Getting over his initial surprise at their sudden upper hand, he swept the Heavy Flail from his cloak, swinging a deadly strike at Suffering from the front row. -
BrickWarriors New Items - Dragon Wings!

That is just really cool. Wish you released these earlier, I'd kill to see them in that Halloween Burnt Orange. -
That would be interesting, but I shudder at the thought of 9 elemental spirits of Finnegan running around.

K-Nut's Wand of Awesome - WP: 12, imbued with everything, has a 1/2 chance to deal asleep, blinded, sealed, or confused, depending on the user's desire. Not that any of this matters, his frail Sage arms can't deal a single point of physical damage.

That is just unreal. The photography is very fitting to the MOC, too - the last picture's on my desktop now. Simply awesome work.

You're still the best suited out of your party for it anyway, you're the only one who can use it, just not to its full effectiveness.

McCafferey gave a mildly annoyed sniff, her beady eyes lingering on Boomingham for a moment silently. "...Oh, er, since I doubt he can give orders in that condition... Atramor Skrall Ellaria Nyx (could ya' use Lightnin' on Sufferin' from the back row if Ellaria gets Roots of Life?) Boomingham (since I'm not sure he gets a turn or not if he's remedied...)" -
It's the reason there's not a dozen of them running around. If they could use physical attacks I'm almost sure there'd be quite a few more.
-
I said good use . Sages can't make use of its effect because it's for physical attacks.
-
I don't plan to try and get ahold of it, I don't have that much gold and I'm unsure if that's a path Atramor's going to go down, but it's a really cool item.
-
I don't know, nobody in the Unlimited Quest right now can put it to good use.
-
Yeah. Makes me want to get Necromancer even more!

"Oh, damn," mumbles Atramor, as Boomingham's rendered paralyzed, his sword held high above his head in a strike that never comes. He promptly attacks the ghost on his own in return, then draws back for a moment. "Ellaria, maybe ya' should try and nurture Boomin'ham this round, it should rid him of his petrification. Nyx, I suggest takin' a moment to heal yourself. Skrall, don't let up yet, that thing's already startin' to look like a pin cushion." He twists Ratsbane in his grip, and swipes again at the Ghost from the front row. -

I'd say Suffering with Topaz from the back row, she'll have less chance of getting KO'd. -
Had to give it a try. Scuba's is far more dwarf-esque, though. No, this doesn't fit at all with the backstory. WBD's is cool as well, I've always dug that hat.

I don't believe there's much risk as there's made out to be if I'm lynched, so it's not a life or death decision. The question is simply which theory makes more sense?
-
Because paladins and rogues don't mix, not to mention the rogue would probably be the primary suspect.

Whatever you guys feel is the best course of action. But seriously, after I come up townie, and if for some reason the game continues after tomorrow, listen to Dragmall.

My health should be fully restored due to Ratsbane's effect. Atramor looks satisfied as the deadly venom defies the laws of magical physics and poisons the intangible spectre, and repeats his attack on the Ghost from the front row. "Nyx should probably attack Suffering this round, just to be safe." -
Were that true, they would've died laughing by now.

A what? I'm pretty sure I slayed one of those once...
